03/08/2025: A small but excellent bakery just steps from the center of Florence. Excellent variety and quality of both sweet and savory products, and very kind and helpful staff. The price is also excellent: two pieces of schiacciate, a small cake, and two bottles of water are less than €10.

09/07/2025: I come to Lucca several times a year and this place is always a must. Just outside the Santa Maria entrance to the wall it is one of the best “not so touristy” places around. The food is always amazing and the staff are a delight!!

18/07/2025: I'm giving it 5 stars because it's not possible to give 11. The restaurant is located on a natural terrace overlooking the valley... that alone is a unique experience (it feels like being in a painting). The food is incredibly delicious, and the staff is equally friendly and professional. They also have gluten-free options. If you pass through Montalcino and don't stop to eat at Locanda di Demetra, you'll miss out on a unique and unforgettable experience.

07/07/2025: Six of us had dinner to celebrate my mother's birthday during our trip to Tuscany. This place was recommended to us at the nearby campsite, and it truly did not disappoint. The food was excellent, and you could tell it was all homemade and made with love. The waiter served us with passion. They have an extensive wine list. Highly recommended. Make a reservation before going, as it's not very large.

04/07/2025: Discovered by chance while I was taking a motorbike ride... the restaurant is very small and characteristic and takes you back in time... a real tavern with dishes prepared at the moment... excellent first courses and desserts, the owner is courteous and friendly. Recommended.

10/07/2025: The food here was delicious. Ate a steak, baked vegetables and pesto gnocchi and all were amazing. The staff were friendly and polite, and I loved that I didn’t get pressured to tip like I have previously at other restaurants. Love that dogs are allowed there too. Overall great experience.

24/06/2025: One of our best meals in Italy. Traditional Italian dishes with a twist. We got the truffle pasta, rigatoni, and the pork. All was soo good. Would love to come back one day. The patio is also a great atmosphere

09/07/2025: We tried both the chickpea cake on its own and the version with schiacciata, eggplant, and chickpea cake: simply exceptional. Fragrant dough, authentic flavors. The only downside? A bit of a line (but it moves quickly) and the fact that there are no seats... you can grab it and enjoy it on the street or on a bench overlooking the sea, as they used to do in the olden days.

27/06/2025: It is a monument in Livorno. You can't visit the city without passing by and tasting 5e5. Very low prices, spartan environment, very high quality.

15/07/2025: You can't just happen upon Mater Restaurant; you have to want to. It's a journey through nature with a breathtaking view of the Poppi plain, which also heralds a journey into the flavors of the local countryside. A very well-maintained restaurant with an open kitchen, where you can watch a group of artists perform. Each dish is a work of art, both visual and olfactory. We've occasionally tried the tasting menu (useful the first few times to get to know the offerings), but lately we've chosen the à la carte menu, which allows us to focus on a few new dishes. Which ones can I describe? All very sublime, but I must mention one pleasant surprise that truly blew me away: homemade tagliolini with two textures of apricot. I couldn't have imagined such a dish possible, a delight. Excellent and impeccable service.

We appreciated the research and innovation deeply rooted in the region, the evocative and well-orchestrated pairings in which the characteristic notes of the raw ingredients emerge clean and refined through transformation, for a memorable sensory experience. We were accompanied by attentive and delicate waitstaff, their pleasant and evocative narration. We savored the care and attention, and for this rare ingredient, we will be happy to return!
