So good we returned two days in a row....in addition to serving exquisite dishes, my wife, I, and our little dog were greeted warmly and courteously by the owner and all the staff. 13/10/2025: Nice location, decent welcome, but hesitant service, very long for pasta ragu and a calzone served at a nearby table. What can I say about these two dishes: a flat, undercooked calzone, and the pasta ragu, which was more like Bolognese with a processed tomato sauce (see photos)... not good at all. Avoid

12/10/2025: Nice family run restaurant with friendly service and good seafood dishes. We were a group of 4 and it took a while for our food to arrive despite there being only one other table in at the time. Recommend the Fishermen's risotto and the Grilled Fish main course.

16/08/2025: My husband, daughter, and I decided to spend our August 15th dinner at Antica Farmacia 2025, during our stop in Palaia after a trip to Corsica. We had high expectations, given the reviews we'd read, and I must say we can fully confirm them. Having been in the restaurant business for over 35 years, we understand the hard work, dedication, passion, and care that goes into every single dish. Highly recommended by our family and the Piedmontese catering company MyParty360 (see Instagram). Enjoy your experience!

12/07/2025: A wonderful culinary experience. No dish on the menu is banal, but all are balanced and successful, showcasing local ingredients and a variety of techniques. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is very friendly.

27/09/2025: Reservation made and confirmed with The Fork with the Yums promotion. Reservation cancelled by the manager. When we called back to find out the reason, they explained that the tables were sold out for that promotion. I don't think this is a fair reason. It's a shame we wanted to try the restaurant for the first time, taking advantage of the discount, and then possibly book a dinner with colleagues for 16 people. A missed opportunity. A shame.

28/08/2025: Excellent place to try seafood. The octopus soup is very good, and the octopus is incredibly tender. The black tagliolini with octopus ragù is also exceptional. I'll definitely be back!

16/08/2025: I went to this restaurant on August 14th. It was my birthday dinner. I just have to say the staff was fantastic! They went above and beyond to accommodate a problem I had! The food was excellent. We had appetizers (each better than the last), then two second courses of both fabulous first courses. We'll definitely be back. Well done, well done.... And thank you 😘

01/10/2025: I was in the area for work and stayed at Iris for two nights with my colleagues, and I have to say that if we ever get back to the area, we'd definitely want to stay there. Excellent service, courtesy, and friendliness, excellent and plentiful food with a wide variety of choices, including simple and protein-rich dishes, just the way I like them. I highly recommend it; everything was top-notch!

21/07/2025: We stayed at this property as a couple from July 15th to July 19th. I wasn't familiar with this hotel and chose it based on the reviews I'd read. We were very satisfied with everything: the service, food, breakfast, friendliness, hospitality, room, cleanliness, availability, and location. I consider it a guarantee, and I'll definitely return. Highly recommended.

11/09/2025: Utter perfection. Every dish was stunning, the hostess looked after us, and was pleasant and engaged, made the whole experience fun and easy! We had anchovies on toast with lots of butter (can't go wrong), the yellow tail ceviche (beautiful, delicate), we shared the tagliolini with mullet roe for our primi (rich but light, fresh and morish) - oh, and every dish we chose to share came split onto two plates, a nice touch! - We finished with our secondi - the fried seafood platter and the octopus, both the best examples of each we've tried (and we eat a lot of seafood around the Mediterranean). It's an odd addition in a review, but it was noticeable that attention had been paid to the sound in the space. Lots of sound dampening "furniture" and just panels - the result is that, what would probably be a loud and reverberous space otherwise, was pleasant, intimate and we could hear each other fine without raising our voice. Just another touch that made this restaurant special. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality fish restaurant in Florence. You'll love it!

10/09/2025: Ah! I wanted to go to Enotica, but it was closed. It's a small but famous Enotica. It's a shop loved by locals too.
