15/11/2025: I visited Limonaia di Villa Senni for the first time, taking advantage of an event in Scarperia and wanting to treat my family to a special evening. The entrance itself is a spectacular calling card: the corridor of plants, the monumental tree, the elegant yet never stuffy atmosphere. The staff was immediately friendly and very welcoming. We focused on the first courses: gnocchi and fettuccine with truffle and mushrooms, truly sensational, rich, balanced dishes that perfectly showcased the raw ingredients. Then we indulged in the Florentine steak: excellent quality, impeccably cooked, and evidently aged, but for us—three of us, with my wife only tasting a small piece—perhaps it was too generous. With such a successful first course, we probably would have done better to stick to that approach. The wine list is extensive and well-constructed; we chose a local prosecco that complemented the dinner with freshness. The prices are above average, but consistent with the quality of the location, the cuisine, and—if I remember correctly—the Michelin-starred restaurant. In short: beautiful location, excellent first courses, impeccable service. I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an elegant experience in Scarperia.

13/10/2025: A highly overrated place, forgettable service, 4 out of 5 wine lists requested were missing...dessert with red vermouth... The food was nothing special...wild boar ribs not divided...what are we going to cut them with with an axe!!? The second course was brought without cutlery...requested 3 times. Insufficient!!!

19/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant in the little square of Marciana Marina Beautifully decorated, super welcoming, and the staff are always present but not intrusive—that's not easy! The dishes are delicious and the portions are generous!! The mussels are delicious, as are the tagliolini. The desserts are excellent. It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants on Elba. Highly recommended.

03/10/2025: It was a pleasure to dine at La Cantina several times during our stay on the island. Michele and the wait staff were very hospitable and professional. The atmosphere was beautiful, with attention to detail. Chef Katia will surprise you with delicious seafood dishes such as linguine with fresh tuna, shrimp, and asparagus, fried seafood, and radicchio roulade with shrimp filling. From spring to September, you must try her fantastic robiola cake. From October onward, the menu changes, adding specialty sandwiches (including octopus), piadinas, and craft beers, for a pleasant evening with friends. Excellent and extensive selection of local and international wines. Absolutely worth a try.

19/10/2025: My best friend and I found this place by luck. After a whole afternoon at the pumpkin patch, we took a recommendation from one of the staff, and... thank goodness we asked and found the right person. The atmosphere is truly beautiful: well-kept, welcoming, and aesthetically pleasing. You feel at ease, and a lovely, intimate atmosphere is created that allows you to relax and enjoy the evening in complete serenity. The music is light and soothing, and you don't have to shout to chat with someone. I loved it. The food is sooooo good. We had a half-slice of salami and brie, and 1) the dough was incredibly light and crispy, and 2) the ingredients were top-quality. We also had a vegetable fry, and that too was exceptional: the batter was incredibly light and not at all greasy, and the vegetables were crunchy. I should add that the drinks were perfectly made and not diluted with too much ice. They were filled to the brim and were to die for. The staff was super friendly, well-dressed, and never pushy. Even though we'd finished eating, they never let us know they wanted us to leave, letting us enjoy the evening as much as we wanted. I don't give 5 stars easily, because I like to evaluate every aspect of a place and point out to the reviewers what's good and what's not, just to be fair. The quality here, however, is top-notch. So, if you're passing through, it's highly recommended. Kudos to the entire staff.

23/10/2025: Business lunch with colleagues. A very charming, well-kept, welcoming place, all in the village style! The service is quick and the staff is kind and helpful, very friendly and welcoming. The selection is wide but not overwhelming, the quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and the cuisine is expert, with well-matched flavors and fresh ingredients. The desserts are excellent and the wine is good! How could it be otherwise?

09/10/2025: A small but beautiful trattoria in San Gimignano. So good we returned two days in a row....in addition to serving exquisite dishes, my wife, I, and our little dog were greeted warmly and courteously by the owner and all the staff. Highly recommended for every aspect: deliciousness, courtesy, and value! See you soon from Mario, Carola, and our little pup, Gaetano.

01/10/2025: I was in the area for work and stayed at Iris for two nights with my colleagues, and I have to say that if we ever get back to the area, we'd definitely want to stay there. Excellent service, courtesy, and friendliness, excellent and plentiful food with a wide variety of choices, including simple and protein-rich dishes, just the way I like them. I highly recommend it; everything was top-notch!

11/11/2025: A true Tuscan gem! I had a fantastic tasting experience at Fattoria di Montemorli. The setting is beautiful — rustic, welcoming, and full of history. Vittorio was an outstanding host, taking time to share the story behind the winery and each of the delicious wines we tasted. Every glass captured the spirit of Tuscany, from their Chianti Classico to the Vin Santo. Highly recommend stopping here if you want an authentic, family-run experience between Siena and San Gimignano. It was one of the highlights of my trip! 🍷

27/09/2025: Reservation made and confirmed with The Fork with the Yums promotion. Reservation cancelled by the manager. When we called back to find out the reason, they explained that the tables were sold out for that promotion. I don't think this is a fair reason. It's a shame we wanted to try the restaurant for the first time, taking advantage of the discount, and then possibly book a dinner with colleagues for 16 people. A missed opportunity. A shame.
