We had lunch and dinner here on the same day. The staff were friendly and quick, and the food was delicious. We tried the lampredotto sandwich, schiacciate, pappa al pomodoro, and lampredotto ravioli. I recommend it.

The schiacciata was delicious. The service was fast and friendly. We ordered a Sant'Ambrogio, a Santa Croce, a Felici, and a San Miniato. I'll definitely be back, but for now, I'm still curious about the San Lorenzo.

The food is excellent, the owners are very friendly and incredibly welcoming.
The music selection is spot on, and the volume allows you to converse without being disturbed.
The decor adds character, and there's plenty of seating. I'll definitely be back next time I visit Florence.

A small shop where you can eat Tuscan delicacies without worrying too much about your appearance.
You enter, see a rustic counter, and enjoy a schiacciata with delicious porchetta and onion, or a Gragnano pasta with tomato sauce, or the famous pappa al pomodoro. Excellent wine by the glass, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Budellino is one of those small, authentic spots in Florence that ends up being a highlight of your trip.
It’s a cozy, no-frills place right in the heart of the city, known for classic Tuscan street food like lampredotto and schiacciata—and they do it really well. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and true to local tradition.
The vibe is casual and relaxed. You order up front, grab a seat (if you can find one), and just enjoy. It’s a smaller space, but that’s part of the charm—it feels local and unpolished in the best way.
Prices are very reasonable, especially for such a central location, and the portions are satisfying without being overdone.
Great spot for a quick bite or a glass of wine.
