12/07/2025: We waited an hour for just the pizzas, one of which had tomato sauce even though we'd asked for a white crust. They asked if we wanted to have it remade, but fearing we'd have to wait that long, we declined. The pizzas weren't bad after all!

09/10/2025: What an incredible surprise. Antonio’s hospitality is as memorable as his (and his mamma's) cooking, warm, genuine, and full of heart. Every dish tasted impossibly fresh, like the ingredients had been picked that morning and placed straight onto the plate. The antipasti were outstanding, the pasta truly the best we’ve had, and the meat dishes were perfection, our whole table was in heaven. And the bread… the bread deserves its own mention - simply unforgettable. We left with full hearts, full bellies, doggy bags, and a bottle of that wonderful olive oil. This was the best surprise of our week in the most beautiful town. We’ll absolutely be back. Thank you, Antonio.

27/09/2025: I was looking for a nice place for my birthday, and I have to say it was an excellent choice!! The food was excellent, with no predictable dishes, and well-balanced flavor combinations where no one flavor overpowers the other. The service was impeccable, fast, and very attentive to the customer's needs. About the chef... what can I say???!!! A magician, an artist, a poet... I don't know how to describe him, but his dishes have a bit of all these qualities! Well done, and congratulations, chef 😉👏

17/09/2025: I'd like to point out that I'm writing this review only after having dinner there a few days ago. Let's start by saying that the atmosphere is nice and the wait times are almost non-existent, which we paid for ourselves (aside from the fact that the place is tiny). The problem is the kitchen... Among the meats we chose for dinner, there was a burger that arrived overcooked on the outside (it wasn't burned, but crispy/firm and dark), while the inside was undercooked (red meat)... ground beef needs to be cooked thoroughly. Not to mention the various pork meatballs we ordered, which were the same thing. In fact, these weren't overcooked on the outside (I didn't give much thought to the outside doneness given the inside...), but on the inside they were completely raw, worse than the burger. Remember, this is pork! One would usually expect a competent person to cook it, given the excellent reviews (as well as the number), but in this case, neither quantity nor quality mattered. I'd add that a plate of potatoes, which they call a large portion but which would actually be enough for one person (or at most split between two), costs €12, and a plate of vegetables as an appetizer (3 slices of zucchini, 3 slices of eggplant, 3 slices of beetroot, a kind of mousse, and every green vegetable you can imagine (maybe because I'm from Abruzzo, but I've eaten some good ones there) costs €15, even though it was a poor dish (in quantity and quality). Two appetizer dishes for €27 weren't even worth €10... it's practically a scam, justified only because it's in a touristy place. We also ordered 4 sausages that didn't arrive; we had to ask for them after 30 minutes, but 5 arrived... and to top it off, they marked 2 waters on the bill when we only ordered one. You eat better and pay a fair price in Lecce than in a place like this. Highly not recommended!

30/08/2025: In the heart of Presicce, right in the historic center, you feel like you're in the Wild West. The dishes are plentiful, tasty, and high-quality. I had the patanegra à la plat and the ribs, which were buttery. The beers were good, and the waiter, dressed as a gringo, was very friendly, complete with boots, hat, and colt. During the evening, Clint Eastwood music, which is absolutely enchanting, starts playing at random, then sets off again with a "country" beat... brilliant. Top

07/09/2025: Following the excellent reviews, we decided to have lunch here, and we were delighted! As soon as we arrived, we were invited to come in and order a table, and were treated to delicious dishes. Excellent value. If we were to stay in the area, we'd definitely come back. Well done!

07/09/2025: It's an unusual restaurant that I've been following for years and I never miss a trip to their place. They're always extremely helpful with any requests, for example, they know I love fried mussels and they make a separate portion for me with them, not to mention the selection of wines and the spirits and bitters that they produce themselves... let's be clear, I'm not a member of theirs, truly the best in Gallipoli... then now with the new location, the icing on the cake (obviously that's also good)

24/09/2025: We were looking for somewhere to eat without having to go in to the centre of Lecce and found this place on Google and decided to give it a try and we were very glad we did. It’s located down a quiet country road just outside Frigole and looks quite unassuming but don’t let that put you off. The owner gave us a very warm welcome and the option to eat inside or out and then explained the menu to us as well as suggesting wine to go with our food. The food was excellent, something a little different but delicious. It was a quite Tuesday night so not too many other diners but I can imagine at the weekends it gets full with local people.

26/09/2025: We stayed at the property for five nights. The welcome and service were very warm. You feel at home from the moment you arrive. Breakfast is lovingly prepared every day according to your wishes using fresh ingredients. The homemade jam is fantastic. Everything is very well-maintained and in top condition. You can completely unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. Rooms are cleaned every day. A great location for exploring Lecce and the beaches, and a relaxing oasis for yourself. A family atmosphere.
