24/12/2025: A unique experience, with a knowledgeable, welcoming, and professional staff. The dinner was sublime, starting with the appetizers, a treat for the palate, and continuing with the delicate yet persistent first course. The second courses were an explosion of flavors, both the lamb and the cooked veal. The inevitable dessert was a must... In short, you have to try it to understand. Compliments to the chef and his team.

09/12/2025: The location is very unique. The aperitif was served in a former quarry dug into the ground and later covered with a barrel vault. Dinner took place in the cellar, where enormous oak barrels, each holding 6-8,000 liters, are stored. The simple yet refined dinner was appropriate for the unique setting.

12/01/2026: A magical place, it feels like being in England. The drinks are great (excellent beers), the food is quite good, and it's always very busy. I'll definitely be back!

11/01/2026: A welcoming atmosphere in true English style, excellent food in true Italian style. A perfect combination for a lovely evening. The only flaw, but an easily forgivable one, is the limited selection of beers, all of which don't taste exactly British.

04/01/2026: A beautiful and meticulously maintained facility just steps from Otranto. The spa is well-designed and, in addition to the classic sauna, Turkish bath, and whirlpool, also features a Kneipp path and emotional shower. All this in a truly pleasant, relaxing, and immaculately clean environment. The various areas of the masseria are beautiful, from the charming internal courtyard to the pool surrounded by greenery. The restaurant is equally impressive, offering a refined and delicious menu. The staff deserves special mention: they are courteous and very helpful. I especially want to thank the receptionist, Valentina, who is very professional, kind, and attentive to the needs of her guests. I thank her for her suggestions and thoughtfulness. I highly recommend this facility!

07/01/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance and discovered an extraordinarily good restaurant. I ate a few simple, home-cooked dishes, to say the least, and they were incredibly delicious. The location was beautiful, and the owner was excellent. Even the background music was pleasant.

07/01/2026: We went to this restaurant last night with some friends. It's a magnificent place, everything is well-maintained and unique. But let's get to the food... we were absolutely delighted both by Antonio's professionalism, who explained and advised us in great detail how each dish was prepared, as well as the provenance and properties of every ingredient used, and by the quality and deliciousness of the dishes. It's definitely a place to recommend and one we'll be returning to soon.

05/01/2026: A wonderful discovery, a restaurant worth visiting outside of Lecce. The host is warm, knowledgeable, and friendly. All the dishes are truly delicious. The location is spacious and welcoming.

30/09/2025: Everything was fantastic. The service was unbeatable. Very friendly. They explained each dish to us, and the presentation was an art in itself. We were very comfortable and a wonderful meal because everything we ordered was exquisite. The cod was extraordinary, the risotto, the desserts, everything. I definitely recommend it. Congratulations to the restaurant team.

27/09/2025: I was looking for a nice place for my birthday, and I have to say it was an excellent choice!! The food was excellent, with no predictable dishes, and well-balanced flavor combinations where no one flavor overpowers the other. The service was impeccable, fast, and very attentive to the customer's needs. About the chef... what can I say???!!! A magician, an artist, a poet... I don't know how to describe him, but his dishes have a bit of all these qualities! Well done, and congratulations, chef 😉👏

You can sense the great care taken in selecting the cuts. The staff is also extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and always available to offer the best advice. 11/01/2026: A Tricase gem! La Cistareddha never disappoints: the eggplant parmigiana is amazing, with the authentic flavor of yesteryear. The cicerchie con cicoria deserves special mention, a traditional dish prepared to perfection, balanced, and flavorful. To top it off, their tiramisu is absolutely unmissable: creamy and incredibly fresh. ​Friendly service and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

10/01/2026: I'm really sorry to write this review, the pizza is good, but the 16 euro grilled meat contains 1 piece of sausage, 1 slice of capocollo, 1 slice of pancetta and 1 small bombetta, all surrounded by a green cream spread on the plate.. apart from the quantity in relation to the price, which could also be okay, the meat had a strong taste of charcoal, whose bitterness covered the flavor of the meat.. I ate it anyway because we were guests of friends.. I had ordered cheese "fondue" with the dish, which by definition, is hot melted cheese.. a small cup of cold and thick cream of spreadable cheese arrived which at first I thought was mayonnaise.. so much so that I asked the waitress if that was the fondue thinking it was a mistake, but instead it was exactly that (call it cheese cream but not fondue).. the dish arrived well after the pizzas and in itself was meager, so much so that the diners shared the pizza with me.. In the end, there was only one piece of pizza left, and we asked for a cardboard box to take it away. The waitress kindly offered to take it away, bringing it back to us in an aluminum tray smaller than the remaining pizza, which was crumpled up on itself.... Never mind this too, we ordered the tiramisu and it arrived with the spoon completely covered in cocoa, so much so that we had to clean it off first to eat it... the dinner was not a good one.

25/11/2025: This boutique hotel is located in the historical district of Otranto. Its seafront location offers breathtaking views. The breakfast provided was also delicious. Having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea was an unforgettable experience. You can't drive into the Old Town, so if you call in front of the castle walls, they'll pick you up in a golf cart. You can load your luggage and drive to the hotel in comfort. If you're traveling by car, you can park in the public parking lot, a 7-8 minute walk away, and then walk to the hotel. Parking is free. The only downside is that the rooms aren't very spacious. This seems to be unavoidable given the building's location in the historical district.

18/10/2025: A small, cozy hotel with very friendly and efficient service and a delicious breakfast. Beautiful view from the hotel terrace 😍 Downstairs room - lighting could be better, bathroom larger, and outside noise was too loud. Upstairs room near the reception - very comfortable and nice. Prices a bit high.

02/02/2026: The owner and employees were really kind. We had lunch with over 20 children and they were able to manage all the little ones with great patience, including the parents.

08/01/2026: Highly recommended. Excellent food, refined yet generous dishes, and spectacular rosé wine. The location with a sea view is superb. Special mention goes to all the staff, the young people are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We'll be back.

06/01/2026: We ate there on a Sunday last summer. I don't want to make a comment that embarrasses the hard work of the staff and the management of the restaurant/facility, but rather offer constructive criticism. The first problem that arose that evening was the wait for our dishes to arrive after ordering, which took about 90 minutes—definitely too long. The establishment's (understandable) excuse was the presence of only one stove/hob and the presence of so many customers. Excusable up to a point, in the sense that you're in the center of Gallipoli, where it's always busy in the summer, so a solution would have to be found by adding a stove or reducing the number of customers. To justify the wait, however, at the end of the dinner, my group was offered a couple of rounds of amari, which was appreciated. Otherwise, the food was reasonably good, in line (for my taste) with that of other restaurants in the city. The only complaint was that the fried fish seemed decidedly salty. The price is average for the area, though the bitters are a bit pricey (about €4 if memory serves), but otherwise it's okay, especially considering the restaurant's sea views. The road isn't too much of a bother, personally. I'd definitely go back and give it a second chance.
