04/08/2024: Lovely place and the waitresses were very positive. It is located in the main pedestrian area of Alberobello. They served delicious food typical of that wonderful corner of the Italian Apulia region. I had a dish of the traditional pasta (orecchiette, that's its name) with veggies and anchoas. I also had octopus. The price was also good, compared with service and quality. Maybe the tables were so close to each other, but it was nice to have dinner outside. I'll recommend it!

06/08/2024: I don't usually review places to speak badly of them, I prefer not to go back again, but enough is enough. Let's start with the few positive things: welcoming place with a small play area with children (main reason for the choice), good quality raw materials and probably of local origin. More... nothingness. The preparation of the dishes is elementary with obvious combinations and no innovation, very repetitive (cabbage, cauliflower, black cabbage) The dishes are plated without care, the second courses served without side dishes cry out to the solitude of their empty plate. But let's go in order. Starter (table top) consisting of: 1, I mean 1 piece for each of the proposals...1 dumpling, 3 gr. of cod, 1 cm of filleted fish, a cup with liquid that looks (and tastes) like water for washing floors and so on. All at the modest cost of €12. Bowl of taralli and olives to be paid separately at €3 each. First courses: ravioli with cauliflower cream, good flavour, 4 cross ravioli, cost €12 (price indicated on the menu, but compared to the truly exorbitant quantity); linguine scampi and lime...only linguine and lime received...the scampi are so small that if you want you can eat them with the whole shell or leave them...and luckily we are in Bari where there is no shortage of fish and the costs are reasonable, if if we had been in Milan they would have put a photo of the scampi; Orecchiette with donkey ragout and black cabbage, tasty but nothing more. Second courses: beef in a taralli crust, or a cutlet worth €12; octopus, cauliflower and pumpkin, actually cuttlefish cut into pieces with the usual dominant vegetable (they were probably on offer at Lidl). Desserts: quite good, apart from the tiramisu where the ingredients were completely unrelated to each other, rightly served in a cappuccino cup because it could be drunk but not eaten. Let's now move on to the sore points. THE BILL. For what was ordered, we didn't think we could pay such an amount, but that's what it is. Perhaps we would have spent less in a starred restaurant. Absurd to charge 13 covers for 7 adults and 6 children who haven't even eaten. Absurd to charge €8 for a beer. Even worse is having to pay €3 separately for the bread. The clever move of asking if we would like a digestive, amaro, whisky... and then finding on the bill that the price of what was ordered was just €9 per glass. But the real icing on the cake was the arrogance with which we were treated, when we pointed out to the chef/owner that the relationship between their gastronomic offer and the price was absolutely unacceptable. We also went back to get the receipt which had not been delivered immediately and with great surprise we also noticed that they had applied a discount of €16... left on the card but not actually used. In the end we left with a bitter taste in our mouths and the clear feeling that catering is an art for the few... very far from this place. To never again!!!

18/07/2024: Small pub on the outskirts of Bari Vecchia which offers an excellent choice of beers from independent breweries and piadine. I wanted a burger so I chose the only one available on the menu made with mushrooms, semi-dry cherry tomatoes, pesto and baked potatoes on the side accompanied by a "Lamortesua" IPA. I was already familiar with the beer and the sandwich was truly exceptional! Super recommended

11/08/2024: I thought it was impossible but I wanted to call anyway and ask if there was the possibility of booking for a group of 24 people and the lady very kindly granted our desire to be together after a long time. While waiting for the barbecue we tasted scottona carpaccio, bacon, sweet potatoes, ash potatoes and grilled onions. All very good. Our grill consisting of zampina, lemon bombette, cacio e pepe bombette, gorgonzola bombette, gnummaridd or torcinelli, call them what you want, cooked to perfection and of excellent quality, not to mention the entrecote and picanha, superlative and cooked perfect. Thank you very much for everything and we apologize if we caused a bit of fuss...

09/08/2024: Braceria Sant'Agata offers an excellent dining experience, with a welcoming and rustic atmosphere. The meat, cooked to perfection on the grill, succulent and of high quality. The service is attentive and courteous. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended for meat lovers.

07/07/2024: The freshness of products is increasingly indirectly proportional to prices. A few years ago you could buy excellent fish and pay a fair price for it, now you spend a lot and the freshness leaves a lot to be desired

12/05/2024: "Hungry turists in the city" was looking for warm lunch on Sunday at 12:30 am. We saw, they don't serv pizza, pasta... but we ask for some warm lunch = maybe pasta? We asked and it was possible. The chef is the best in town, because at this Sunday we got no go from other "Restaurants" in the city Bitonto, we was too early. But for him it was possible, to make hungry tourists happy. We had 2 different pasta dishes, with fantastic flavour, just easy and nice, inkl. Italien family drama. We just love it. Thanks a lot.

31/08/2024: A family ran restaurant. Love the concept. Love the people. Awesome food. We had some Wagyu beef. Some pork. Some chicken. Potatoes. House wine. Everything was spot on. Including the medium rare ask on the meat. Love the vibe. Very laid back and familial. Very affordable as well. Loved it so much went back. Highly suggested.

La carne molto buona, idem i contorni tutto fatto in casa dai proprietari, cameriere molto carine e gentili…anche il conto finale per niente alto!! Rapporto qualità prezzo super!! 28/01/2024: Questo posto è perfetto per qualsiasi occasione, che sia da soli, in compagnia, in famiglia …il locale è particolare e confortevole . Le proprietarie e le dipendenti sono di una disponibilità ed educazione che va oltre l’ordinario, il menù che propongono è diverso dal solito e tutto ottimo come i diversi drink e la vasta scelta di vini e birre.

04/09/2024: We were very disappointed by the excessively high prices, a first course, a second course, fried food with 2 prawns and 10 rings, 1 bottle of wine, 1 bottle of water and 1 coke, a whopping €180.00 😭😭😭

31/08/2024: Two stars for the waiter and the food was also saved. Unfortunately, the owner's behavior was tragic, he and other guests in the room, including Italians, were slandering us, they were laughing at us and what we ordered. We were watched all the time while eating, very poor experience. This is the first restaurant of its kind in Italy. I would like to ask for more empathy for tourists, unfortunately I do not recommend it 🥲
