I've always found the service staff to be efficient, courteous, and helpful, especially the assistance staff. They're extremely kind, clear in their instructions, and above all, helpful. It's a small airport. It gets crowded during peak hours, but after that, it's relatively quiet. Security screening isn't particularly crowded, so you might not need to buy the fast-track ticket Ryanair offers (based on a 2:00 PM flight on a Sunday).

It is very small, I went to the bathroom and it was terrible, they could have been cleaner.

I wanna thank the miracle workers at the Bari International Airport (named for Pope John Paul II), for allowing me to take a guitar on flight SK 2518 last minute notice as a carry on. I'm so sorry that situation developed that way, I would put 90% of the blame on Scandinavian Airlines, the national airline service of Denmark Norway and Sweden, specifically their app and customer service line, and some small part on myself for not being able to communicate at the airport as well in Italian as I had thought I would be able to despite my significant studies. Some small part of my soul is in Puglia, and I'm so grateful to be able to maintain some connection with the place. Not all Americans are idiots either, the aeroplane was invented in America, although we all have our moments. We'll get it together. Grazie mille, Noah.

Very clean and decent choice of shops.

I’ve been traveling through this airport at least once a year for the past 12 years, and it’s been great to see how much it has improved over time. The addition of new toilets has made a noticeable difference in comfort and cleanliness, and I was very happy to see WiFi finally introduced—it makes waiting times far more convenient. The staff have always been efficient and courteous, which is something I really appreciate as a regular traveler. Overall, the upgrades show that the airport is listening to passengers’ needs, and it’s encouraging to see the progress year after year.

​A rather large and crowded airport. Plenty of shops. Well-connected to the city of Bari by rail and road transport. There are no smoking areas after the security checkpoint.

A very good airport. It's not large, but it's comfortable, clean, and well-signposted. It's easy to get through security, and there are plenty of shops to grab a bite to eat (not so many clothing stores, but several duty-free shops that are quite comprehensive, with typical Puglia products and the usual staples).
