06/04/2025: Cercavamo un ristorante nel quale cenare presto di lunedì sera, ma purtroppo scegliendo questo siamo usciti delusi e sconvolti per i prezzi eccessivi a nostro parere. Abbiamo ordinato delle orecchiette al ragù e queste erano abbastanza buone, ma quando è arrivato riso patate e cozze, abbiamo dovuto lasciare tutte le cozze perché avevano Un odore e un sapore troppo forte (erano andate a male), mentre le orecchiette con cime di rapa non erano nulla di eccezionale essendo a Bari. Tutti i piatti sono arrivati dopo 5 minuti dall’ordine, come se fossero già pronti e scaldati. Il cuoco è arrivato poco prima che noi uscissimo dal ristorante. Il prezzo eccessivo per la pessima qualità del cibo. Non ci tornerei mai!!!

29/03/2025: We were in Bari a few days ago enjoying some pizza when a staff member (Samuel) recommended Locanda dell’Elfo—and we’re so glad he did. This cozy little spot had a warm, family feel from the moment we walked in. I had the gnocchi and my wife ordered the cavatelli with seafood—both were absolutely fantastic. The food was fresh, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the wine. It’s a small place, but that just adds to the charm. Not sure if the staff are actually family, but it certainly felt that way in the best possible sense. Highly recommend.

14/04/2025: My daughter and I visited this restaurant twice on our trip. The first time, the price/performance ratio was okay and the food came quickly. So the following day, which was quite tiring, we decided to try the restaurant again because we were hungry and it was already late. That was a mistake. We came to the restaurant at 8:30 p.m. and ordered: Orecchiette with tomato sauce (this pasta is a specialty in Puglia and can be found on every corner in Bari - this note will be important later) and a salad. So far so good. What we then had to experience defies description. We observed serving staff jogging/running, but our food still wasn't there after 1 hour 20 minutes. Meanwhile, other guests were told that they could not eat here because they were “fully booked”. In fact, at this point the restaurant was almost empty inside and a few tables were occupied outside. When I asked after 1 hour and 25 minutes when our food would come, I received “in 5 minutes”. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. However - and I have never experienced this in a restaurant in my life - from that point on the serving lady had the idea of ​​gasping every time she walked past our table. She obviously didn't want to be spoken to or bothered by hungry guests anymore. She probably chose the wrong job. At some point our food arrived and here too there was a very special surprise: Instead of the orecchiette, my daughter got cut-up penne - the lady didn't think it was necessary to inform us about it, she was obviously waiting to see if my daughter would be taken for a fool. When asked where the orecchiette were, she said they were out. How this can happen in Bari, where these noodles are sold on every corner, and even homemade (!), is a mystery to me, but you can't understand everything. To explain: the dish was chosen because of these special noodles, so the type of noodle is a little important. When paying, not a word of apology or anything - unbelievable. The whole thing is called an event restaurant - we now know why.

05/01/2025: Sono stata qui con la mia famiglia per il pranzo del 1° gennaio e sono rimasta piacevolemente stupita. Innanzitutto la presentazione e la cura dei piatti, sapori e ingredienti ben accostati e la professionalità dello staff che in un giorno festivo come questo, non è venuta meno. Molto buoni anche i panettoni artigianali offerti dalla struttura. Ritorneremo sicuramente!

02/01/2025: Posto fantastico...un mix tra ottima cucina mediterranea e natura. Siamo stati diverse volte a Torre Sansanello che non delude mai. Ieri in particol modo abbiamo festeggiato con Parenti e Amici il Capodanno 2025 divertendoci e gustando un ottima cucina. Personale rispettoso e molto cordiale. SUPER ! Da riprovare quanto prima.
