A welcoming place, the owner is incredibly friendly, the cashier is always ready to offer advice, and the chef is fantastic—his talent shines through even in simple dishes. The pizzas with Parma ham are exquisite.

The best Puccia in Puglia. Top quality 🔝

Fabulous pucce, quality ingredients, unfortunately the wait is ruined by the ridiculously long wait. 1 hour and 10 minutes for two pucce, definitely too long. Yes, it was crowded, but that puts you off. You don't even have that long of a wait at restaurants, so I'd speed things up a bit.

Every time I return to Pucciaria and sample their specialties, I experience authentic moments of culinary delight. The pizzas and puccia share the same dough, which in my opinion is one of the best in Bari. The pizzas are thin, crispy, and generously topped. Angelo is a true craftsman, and the puccia remains his finest creation. The variety of beers, including craft beers, is excellent, as is the wine selection. It's family-run, and during the busiest summer months, there may be some delays, resulting in longer wait times: it's best to inquire when ordering. Another great strength is Roberta's hospitality and kindness. The place is small, but in good weather, capacity increases thanks to the outdoor space. Prices are average, perfectly in line with the quality and sophistication of the predominantly local products, such as extra virgin olive oil. Try it and believe it. Dine in or take out; delivery is not available.

Excellent in every way... Every time I'm in Bari for work, I always stop for the wood-fired octopus sandwich... Simply divine... High-quality product... Very friendly staff. Very clean and tidy place.
