03/03/2025: Stopped by for dinner again in 2025: Unfortunately, I can only reward the pinsa (we used to have bombastic pizzas) and my tagliatelle with 5 stars. Unfortunately, my friend's ravioli wasn't that good. The tablecloths have also disappeared (see also in the photos). Grana Padano (not Parmesan!) were placed on the table in a plastic bag. After all, open cheese was also served upon request. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nevertheless, we won't come anymore. It's a shame that it has faded so much. I was there once five years ago. The review with 5 stars: I had a pizza and my girlfriend had dumplings. Excellently cooked. The pizza was one of the best I've ever eaten. Which is the case in many pizzerias, the pizza bloats your stomach. Absolutely no problems here afterwards. The dough was great. The staff was friendly, quick and informative. I have to add that we went to eat as soon as it opened. There were still few guests there. I would come again.

03/02/2025: Dieses Mal konnten wir durch unseren etwas längeren Aufenthalt und Vergleich mit Restaurans der Umgebung noch besser einschätzen,dass diese Pizzeria hohe Qualität zu günstigen Preisen bietet. Wir kommen gern wieder !

10/03/2025: Stayed one night taking advantage of an offer with overnight stay and breakfast included. The staff was very kind, everyone with a great desire to do and above all smiling. Small room but with a wonderful view of the mountain. In the evening we ate a pizza, they make it low and crunchy, light, really delicious. The breakfast WOW: salty, sweet, not a huge buffet but with different choices. Delicious homemade tart and also the biscuits made by them. There is also the wellness area, if I had had half a day more I would have tried it, it is really new. For the next weekend in Val Vigezzo I definitely know where to stay.

23/02/2025: Abbiamo pernottato in questo albergo io e la mia famiglia per una notte per poter sfruttare la pista scii La Baitina adiacente alla struttura e raggiungibile a piedi a 100 mt. Stanze pulite e confortevoli, colazione curata e cena a base di pizza buonissima, sottile ed enorme molto leggera e digeribile, come antipasto abbiamo preso un tagliere con formaggi misti locali e marmellate fatte da loro davvero deliziose, location in generale curata. Unica pecca stanza sopra il locale ristorante poco insonorizzata.

11/12/2024: Siamo stati con amici per i mercatini di Santa Maria Maggiore, ci siamo trovati benissimo una sala grande calda accogliente, lo staff ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Il menù era fisso ma comunque fatto molto bene. Devo fare i complimenti a tutti e sicuramente ci torneremo

10/10/2024: Para una buena experiencia gastronómica me pareció este lugar en general decepcionante. Si bien el entorno y el personal amable eran una ventaja, se sentía como si esto se suponía que "llevaría" el resto de la comida. Sé y esperaba ser algo explotado ya que la región de los grandes lagos es un importante centro turístico, sin embargo, de alguna manera esto todavía se sentía como un "robo de carretera". Mi esposa y yo pedimos "Cevice Di Salmerino" para compartir y voy a decir que la porción para ser reducido a la mitad era muy agradable, pero faltaba sabor y sobre todo especias de los pimientos. Sin embargo, nuestra principal fue una gran decepción, el pescado "Rombo Allá Piastra" estaba demasiado cocido (y quiero decir SOBRECOCINADO) y cocinado tan simplemente que el pescado casi parecía triste. No somos de los que se quejan ya que los servidores nunca tienen la culpa pero no tuvieron opción de mencionarlo, el personal amablemente se ofreció a sacar otro que rechazamos ya que ya estaba medio comido. El Fileteto Di Manzo mientras estaba cocinado perfectamente medio raro se sentía como un corte de alta calidad de una vaca de baja calidad, el filete era masticable y tenía una buena cantidad de tendones ensartados en todo, de nuevo emplatado muy solitario como si yo mismo estuviera tratando de hacer una comida de aspecto "fantasía" (Soy un cocinero terrible). No hay quejas sobre los postres que no eran especiales pero sabían bien. En general por $ 180 incluyendo el paseo en barco de $ 10 y dos copas de vino nos fuimos sintiéndonos bastante sorprendidos y decepcionados. Por casi la mitad del precio hemos tenido cocina de clase mundial (entrada, principal, postre, bebidas) bien plateado y ración bien en otros lugares turísticos, siempre que no estaba en una isla. . Desearía haber tomado fotos de la comida, pero creo que la falta de ella dice suficiente como suelo hacer cuando me obliga la mirada.

24/01/2025: Happened by chance to have an aperitif. Nice environment with lots of local products, from cheeses to wines, to cured meats. Excellent aperitif. Fair prices. Clean place. Polite and friendly staff. I will gladly return.

20/03/2025: We were here on our last night in Connobio, to be honest it looked a more like a bar than a restaurant but we were very pleasantly surprised. The service was a light confused and perhaps a bit too familiar. Although we both speak pretty proficient Italian he insisted on speaking English with us. The food was however very good. I would normally give 4,5 Stars but as this isn’t an option I gave them 5. Let’s say A-/B+. Incidentally the music choice was also great.

17/03/2025: Let's go there for an aperitif. Wine is good and there are small, delicious slices with it...we're not really into chips and co. what you often get elsewhere.

20/10/2024: We really had a great time, super friendly staff, the place is one of those places that stays in your heart a little. I really think we'll be back!! The only flaw is that the double rooms are a bit small, but otherwise everything is ok!

24/07/2024: We loved this hotel. Paola, its owner, is infinitely kind, the building is very beautiful, its location is perfect for discovering Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. The view as well as the direct access to the lake are unique. A paradise. We will come back.
