09/09/2025: Unfortunately, the tip was very disappointing. We only got dry bread, no oil, and no pepper or salt. The grilled vegetables were completely unseasoned, and the fries had no sauce. My fish also came without sauce, even though the menu said otherwise. The staff were rather bored and not particularly friendly. I can't recommend this restaurant, and we came here specifically for this. Sorry!

18/03/2025: Questo ristorante si trova nel centro storico alto di Baveno……verrete accolti dalla cordialità dei proprietari e della gentilissima cameriera . Porzioni minuscole ma ben eseguite dall’antipasto al dolce . Superlativa la ricciola , golosissima la panna cotta 🍮.Ci ritorneremo appena possibile !

29/08/2025: Here, the gap is wide between expectations and reality. Price and performance are completely out of proportion. The food was good, but since I didn't want anchovies, beetroot, or gorgonzola in my meal, I opted for a "salad": one mozzarella, three red tomatoes, and three yellow cherry tomatoes for a reasonable €18. I wouldn't call that a salad. The "boss" was running around with a face in his face. One waiter smelled of sweat. The toilets were so-so. The flush didn't work reliably. The soap was empty. That was the most expensive evening, but we've had better, more affordable (not cheaper) meals and enjoyed the evening with excellent service.

10/09/2025: We found this place almost by accident during a trip to Domodossola. It's a lovely place and the food is fantastic. The pinsa is the best we've ever tasted: the filling is top-notch and the dough is absolutely perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The scaloppine is also tender and flavorful, accompanied by delicious sautéed green beans. Definitely worth marking on your map so you can return.

31/08/2025: Excellent restaurant, with fabulous pinsa. Top-notch service, a super cozy interior garden, and a smiling and attentive team. We had pinsa, the daily special, which was polenta with braised beef, and gnocchi with chestnut flour, plus a delicious tiramisu for dessert. All flawless, with impeccable service. Everything is fresh and homemade, and the restaurant is a real gem! Next time we're there, we'll eat here again.

17/08/2025: The food was very good. Unfortunately, the service was poor. Our starter and main course arrived at the same time. Afterwards, we wanted to order a drink and dessert, but none of the waiters paid any attention to us. Even when we wanted to pay, they didn't ask if we wanted another drink or dessert, and we waited over 20 minutes for the bill. At the next table, the food arrived before the drinks. Conclusion: Good food, poor service. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

29/07/2025: Non è certo un ristorante da 5 stelle, ma non posso nemmeno dire di aver mangiato male. Le pietanze cinesi erano buone, la carne sulla spada anche, ho evitato il pesce e sopratutto il sushi, perché il pesce crudo o cotto che sia non mi fido a mangiarlo dove spendi poco. L’ananas ottimo! Non ci mangerei tutti i giorni, ma ogni tanto valutando bene cosa si mette nel piatto, si può fare…il personale è stato gentile e continuava a passare tra i tavoli con la carne sulla spada a chiedere se ne volevamo ancora.

19/07/2025: Classic Asian all-you-can-eat restaurant. Good value for money. Sushi was delicious. Everything else was average (not bad, actually). The highlight was the staff who walked from table to table with various games. All in all, quite okay.

31/08/2025: Excellent cuisine, extremely friendly staff, and a splendid terrace overlooking the lake. It's also very convenient for those like us who decide to reach the village by boat, as there's a free dock available right next door. We ate really well, and it's been a long time since we've found everything so good in a restaurant with somewhat sophisticated cuisine. Ms. Emanuela was incredibly kind and professional! Everything was perfect, highly recommended!

27/08/2025: What a disappointment! Very good, attentive and attentive service, but the food...! A series of simplistic cooking and preparations: not worth the price! €140 for a menu that should have cost no more than €80. A huge problem with the desserts; there simply aren't any! They're ice cream. Several things disappointed us, such as the truffle ravioli: coarse, the sage ice cream, the sabayon, and the "tiramisu" for the "dessert" - not at all balanced in terms of taste. We really didn't like it at all. The work was not at all up to the expected standard. We went there for a birthday and asked for a small gesture for dessert (a simple candle?) that we didn't receive at the time, which disappointed us greatly. A very steep bill for truly disappointing food. We ate better at another restaurant in the same town, just a stone's throw away, for four times less. So yes, the building is beautiful, but that doesn't make up for it at all.

22/07/2025: Excellent restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. The venison carpaccio was very good. The vegetable side dish with the main course was equally good. Excellent value. The prosciutto and melon were excellent, and the roasted melon with hazelnut cream was excellent, melting in the mouth.

10/06/2025: The staff was very nice. Perfect location, great view from the room… Room was clean and comfortable. I went to their restaurant for dinner and it was a good experience. Breakfast was even better, they have a big variety of food which they serve directly to your table (no buffet) - which was a new and nice experience to me! Unfortunately I only stayed one night and solo, but would love to go back for a longer period with someone else.

15/07/2025: We only wanted to stop for coffee, but ended up staying for lunch, which was absolutely amazing. A beautiful place with soul and great cuisine.

13/06/2025: We booked at the last minute and were greeted with a smile. Simple and very nice atmosphere: not at all chaotic, perfect for spending a quiet and pleasant evening. Friendly staff. The care in preparing the dishes is something wonderful - exquisite food!

03/08/2025: Typical, homemade dishes with an incredible view of Macugnaga and Monte Rosa. Fair prices and portions for very good food, though it's a shame there's not a huge selection. Reservations are recommended on summer weekends, as seating is limited.

29/07/2025: Very nice refugio that was recently renovated. Almost as luxurious as a B&B, but for a very good price. Good food and extremely friendly owners. Would definitely recommend over a hotel in Macugnaga!

28/08/2025: For us, this is the best pizza ever. We come back every time we're in Verbania. We absolutely love it. The value for money here is more than reasonable. The pizzas are truly amazing, and the service is fantastic.

02/09/2025: I stop with customers every time I go on a mountain bike tour. Availability, friendliness, and quality are some of the strengths of this welcoming restaurant. Furthermore, last time, we needed to charge the batteries of a couple of e-bikes, and the kind staff member immediately found us a plug to plug in. Thank you :-)

28/07/2025: My husband, my 5-year-old son, and I were there yesterday. The owners, Stefania and Manuel, were super kind and friendly, and the service was fast. We had an amazing truffle tartare, it melted in our mouths, not to mention the tagliatelle with fresh chanterelles and excellent speck! My son had a margherita pizza. I can only say that he even ate the crust, which he usually leaves behind... what can I say? To finish, we had the desserts, homemade, very good, the crème brûlée was tops!!! When there's love and passion in what you do, these are the results!!! Well done guys!!!! See you next time!!!
