24/07/2024: We loved this hotel. Paola, its owner, is infinitely kind, the building is very beautiful, its location is perfect for discovering Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. The view as well as the direct access to the lake are unique. A paradise. We will come back.

31/05/2025: No es fácil comer mal en Italia, pero es posible aquí. Los ingredientes carecían de calidad: las setas porcinas eran a la vez húmedas y acuosas, y la salsa de tomate de la otra pasta era sosa y poco inspirada. Solo se utilizaron hierbas secas. La comida parecía tan aburrida como sabía. Uno de los cuchillos estaba sucio, lo que era apropiado. El pan estaba tan seco que no se podía comer. Nos sentamos en sillas de plástico sucias en el jardín. Al menos el vino espumoso de la casa era aceptable. Cobrando 2 €. 50 por persona por un "cargo de cobertura" / coperto es absurdo. Prácticamente nada era satisfactorio; lo único aceptable era el vino de la casa, como he dicho, la razón del segundo punto. Pagué 14€ por el peor pomodoro de espaguetis de mi vida. Cualquier cocinero aficionado podría haberlo hecho mejor.

25/05/2025: English: We were visiting the botanical garden and we were hungry, I found this little place on Google Maps with very positive ratings and we decided to try it, I think it was one of the best choices ever made. A fixed daily menu, with three options of first course to choose from and 3 options of a second course to choose from, we chose baked pasta and seafood risotto as first courses, as second courses baked chicken and potatoes and ribs with sausage with baked potatoes, I can say excellent quality and also perfect quantity. We also managed to get a dessert that we shared, a very very good blueberry cheesecake. The lady who runs it was very kind and helpful. Very pleasant and quiet atmosphere perfect for a relaxing day. When we return to visit Lake Maggiore we will definitely return to try some other dish of the day. I am truly very satisfied overall. Thank you for this magnificent lunch

11/12/2024: Siamo stati con amici per i mercatini di Santa Maria Maggiore, ci siamo trovati benissimo una sala grande calda accogliente, lo staff ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Il menù era fisso ma comunque fatto molto bene. Devo fare i complimenti a tutti e sicuramente ci torneremo

19/05/2025: Abbiamo prenotato sul posto questo ristorante, La signora che ci ha preso la prenotazione ci ha confermato la disponibilità. Siamo tornati all’ora con lei convenuta e siamo entrati nel ristorante. Dopo 10 minuti la signora, pur avendoci visto, non ci ha degnato di uno sguardo. Quando mi sono rivolta a lei per dirle che avevamo una prenotazione, mi ha risposto “un attimino”. Dopo mezz’ora di attesa, questo “attimino” non era ancora passato e la signora continuava ad ignorarci. Altri due camerieri erano presenti e il loro atteggiamento era lo stesso della signora. Ce ne siamo andati sconfortati e delusi e ovviamente non torneremo mai più. Veramente inqualificabili, per nulla professionali e per niente educati! Consigliamo a chi volesse visitare il Lago delle Fate di pranzare altrove o di portarsi la colazione al sacco!

02/05/2025: Pranzo pessimo, La polenta immangiabile per il retrogusto amaro poiché era stata bruciata, lo spezzatino salatissimo e nel piatto di gnocchi al ragu abbiamo trovato un capello. La loro fortuna è la posizione.. La cosa che fa arrabbiare è che capita di bruciare una polenta ma non essendo una preparazione che richiede molto tempo poteva essere rifatta visto che andava servita anche a dei bambini! Peccato

01/05/2025: Super location and super menu. Typical but refined food, especially in the preparation, I would say low temperature cooking (I took the tuna sauce), fine, very light. My husband took the ravioli, and this dish was also sublime. We drank water because being on a motorbike it is better to avoid alcohol, but, at the table next to us we saw a Coppo Altalanga...😍🔝🔝

17/12/2024: Bella la location,quest' estate avevano fatto un buon aperitivo,e abbiamo deciso di organizzare un pranzo con amici,eravamo in 25 , una delusione più totale,era stato pattuito un menù di pesce e uno di carne ,con relativo antipasto Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto che non corrispondeva a ciò che si era pattuito, paccheri con guanciale e pistacchi,oltre ad essere pieno di olio,il gusto non era decisamente gradevole,linguine tonno fresco e pomodorini,senza gusto,pesce spada alla griglia con patate, è stato immangiabile,faceva odore e le patate servite erano crude,scamone arrosto con purè di patate,non pervenuto,dopo le nostre lamentele,sono arrivate due bistecchine,scongelate sotto l'acqua calda ,dure come due suole di scarpe, purè nemmeno l'ombra..su 25 commensali sono tornati in cucina più della metà dei primi e per i secondi nessuno l'ha mangiato.. Come se non bastasse La sottoscritta è rimasta chiusa in un bagno, nel chiudere la porta è caduta la maniglia, rimanendo così bloccata all'interno per oltre mezz'ora , inutile battere il maniglione della porta del bagno contro il muro o contro la porta stessa e invocare aiuto a squarciagola.. alla fine con gran fatica e col rischio di farmi parecchio male ho dovuto scavalcare il muro del bagno arrampicandomi sul piccolo fasciatoio presente,e scavalcando il muro alto,cercando di scivolare dall' altra parte ,facendo attenzione a non cadere pesantemente,tra l'altro premetto che il bagno è quello dei disabili e dove vengono cambiati i bambini, una volta uscita da quel bagno in stato abbastanza pietoso, ho provveduto ad informare dell' accaduto, dove mi sono sentita dire che era da che giorni che il bagno era rotto e aspettavano di aggiustarlo,e che avevano sentito un rumore ma pensavano fosse qualcuno della canottieri,non c'era né un cartello che avvisava le persone che il il bagno non era accessibile ,chiunque poteva entrare . Devono ringraziare che quel giorno non abbiamo chiamato l'ASL o non abbiamo fatto partire una denuncia, l'incidebte è successo a me ,ci fosse stata una mamma con un bambino piccolo non so come sarebbe andata a finire, Dopo varie discussioni, visto il disservizio visto il fatto che praticamente siamo rimasti a digiuno abbiamo deciso di pagare simbolicamente a testa €10 x l'acqua e il vino sfuso ..

11/05/2025: Lastresa Restaurant: gentlemen, Good Food is served. The quality of the raw materials, refinement and elegance of the dishes make this place the best restaurant in Stresa. During our week in Stresa we had dinner at this place 3 times. Our regret is that we are too far away and cannot return to enjoy those dishes that are a joy for the palate. A round of applause and applause to his chef and his sous chef. Professional, helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

10/05/2025: Simple, cozy, elegant, traditional. Beautiful views of the lake. Such kind and accommodating staff. Great breakfast included in a very reasonable rate. Perfect combination for a place to stay near the lake, but more peaceful and quiet than staying in Stresa proper. Easy parking. Family owned hotel.
