The highlight is definitely the quality of the fish, especially the raw fish, which is truly fantastic, incredibly fresh, and of the highest quality. The service was courteous and professional, with reasonable wait times. The staff was helpful in recommending both dishes and wine pairings. The prices are medium-high, but justified by the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience. Highly recommended.

25/04/2026: This was our first time here and we were very pleased. Lunch was served on a beautiful terrace with a stunning view. The dishes were fresh and delicious, especially the fish. The service was friendly and professional, and the quality/price ratio was excellent. We will definitely be returning to your restaurant!

27/05/2026: We returned to Rome today after spending two nights at this delightful hotel. We had two rooms on the third floor. Book here with confidence, you won't go wrong! Excellent location for those who, like us, want to take the Centovalli train to Locarno. We had a wonderful time, thank you for everything!

12/01/2026: While searching for a restaurant in Domodossola, I came across this lovely restaurant-pizzeria. It was a lovely evening, with good food, good wine, and good service. Prices were fair for the quality, and it was free of all the gourmet frills and Michelin-starred-style frills. Don't be put off by the unusual name (it was the name of the previous brewery the owners ran), the location (it's in a sort of alley), and even if the waiters ignored you when you entered (the room was full, but we were ignored for five minutes). My beef cheek was cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes and tapas nabour were balanced and flavorful, my wife's vitello tonnato was very well cooked (pink in the center) with the sauce served on the side, and the bread and milk tart was very simple but delicious. The waitress was friendly but not intrusive and always gave us excellent advice, and the owner was kind and smiling. A distinctive touch: two MV Augustas are on display in the restaurant. I haven't tried the pizzas, which seem very thin and crispy. Well done! I'll definitely be back when I pass through Domodossola again.

24/04/2026: We stopped at this pub for an aperitivo. The beer was really, really good. A unique flavor. The mixed Ossalonian cured meats we ordered were a delicacy. The staff were really friendly and knew how to best recommend the beer. Thank you so much!

25/05/2026: Delicious pizza, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere. The only downside is that it's noisy in the evening. On the other hand, that means there's a lot going on!

21/04/2026: Great place! We stayed over for the weekend and we both had lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Rooms are cozy and clean. The food is great, home-made, tasty and healthy. We stayed with our dog and 2 years old daughter and staff was very kind and welcoming. Also prices are very fair.

The food was exquisite, with attention to every detail, and the staff was incredibly kind and always available. The owner assisted us with great professionalism and attention, both in the planning and during the event, always ready to accommodate our every need, both culinary and logistical. We also greatly appreciated their flexibility and ability to adapt to our wishes, making everything perfect. We also dined at their restaurant and had an excellent experience there too, a testament to their quality and passion. Highly recommended for both a restaurant dinner and event catering: a guarantee of taste and professionalism!

03/02/2026: I ordered takeout. The pasta with meat sauce arrived white with two pieces of meat thrown in, overcooked and tasteless. The pad thai was much heavier than usual, and the fries were rubbery and undercooked. I've never had this happen at a restaurant; in fact, everything was always good quality. Quite disappointed. Definitely better to go for aperitivo.

11/05/2026: Excellent place to stay in the city center. Rooms near the station. Staff make you feel at home. The food is good, both at breakfast (plenty, but not a buffet; they pass trays of all sorts of goodies) and at dinner.

01/05/2026: Charming hotel in a pedestrian zone. Very clean and welcoming. Comfortable bedding. Modern and spotless shower room. Wonderful, generous breakfast with a wide variety of delicious products: croissants, fruit, homemade yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, smoked ham, cheese, panna cotta, crème caramel, bread, jam, tart, and cereal. Warm welcome and impeccable service. Thank you for your kindness.

06/03/2026: Nice, warm, clean, and welcoming location, right on the street, with an on-site shop selling local products. Very knowledgeable, attentive, and empathetic staff. Quality, delicious, and tasty products. Pistachio tiramisu (although I wanted the Nutella one 🤷🏻) and homemade strudel were EXCELLENT. Fair price. I will definitely be back. 100% recommended

01/02/2026: We went for an aperitif🍹: a very popular place, super friendly staff, but the real gem is the wines🍾... they even offer a free tasting of a single glass 🍷... something rare and much appreciated! All accompanied by a gourmet taglierini😋... not the usual chips! 🔟 and praise!

03/06/2026: From Domodossola to Rome and back. A friendly tavern with a slightly nerdy feel. The sign is Bloch's famous painting of a mid-19th-century Roman tavern, with the two Ciociaria women—the married one with the big scarf and the spinster flirting with you—the husband with the scarf looking pissed off, and the cat staring at you even more viciously. The prices of the inviting and varied pinsas are in Roman numerals, and it's fair to ask if they're euros or sesterces. The last page of the menu shows the route to the restroom, and I have to say that the "treasure map" confused me a bit, as I was expecting who knows what winding paths to take when the designated place is right next to the pinsettaro counter. Otherwise, the food is good, the drinks are cold, and the service is friendly.
