30/06/2025: Hai fatto 4 passi svizzeri con la moto, vorresti fermarti un attimo per bere qualcosa e allora ti fermi nel primo posto che capita sulla strada.
Entri in un locale guardato come un marziano perchè sei forestiero ma soprattutto perchè non chiedi birra e vino ma chiedi acqua e bibite per rinfrescarti, e qua salta tutto: battute simpatiche , proprietario divertente e divertito che ci offre un tagliere di salumi, simpatia e accoglienza e....sicuramente torneremo per una cena conviviale con più tranquillità, divertirci come matti e magari fermarci per la notte.

19/08/2025: The refuge is located in a beautiful panoramic position, ideal for a stop during a mountain hike. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are kind and helpful, qualities always appreciated.
We ordered polenta, but unfortunately, it wasn't convincing: the texture and flavor suggested it had been reheated, and the dish overall was flavorless. Considering the €12 price tag, we would have expected something more refined, especially in a traditional cuisine setting.

17/10/2025: We were guests at this inn as a family. Mrs. Anna was very kind both during the reservation and during our stay. Dinner at the inn was perfect, as was the staff who served us, and what can I say about breakfast! Attention to detail. Thank you!

It was our mother's birthday, and the kitchen baked her a special cake.
Definitely a highlight in Domodossola ❤️

02/11/2025: Delicious, delightful. It was a dreary, rainy afternoon and the restaurant was a good respite from the weather. My husband had the venison ragú over tagliatelle with a blueberry sauce. I had the sea bass with potatoes. Both were delicious. We started with a pumpkin flan which we would recommend. The wait staff were attentive, engaging and put up with our poor attempts at Italian. It was a wonderful afternoon.
27/10/2025: A wonderful evening in a very pleasant restaurant and with an unforgettable culinary experience. It was beautiful and very, very, very good. Bravo and thank you to the whole team!

I ordered a Prosciutto di Parma pizza and I must say it was extraordinary: light, crispy, and fragrant dough, ultra-fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced flavors. Every bite is an explosion of flavor!
The restaurant at Via Giuseppe Mazzini, 29, Canzo is welcoming and immediately exudes an authentic atmosphere. This isn't just any pizza, but pure art: tradition, passion, and attention to detail that few can match.
If you want a pizza that will make you forget all the others, Pizzeria Alba is the number one place. A true legend in Canzo for those who love uncompromising quality and flavor.

14/12/2025: A disappointing group lunch for 41 people. The charcuterie platter was meager, but good, and needed to be shared between three or four people. The bruschetta wasn't enough for everyone, the pasta was cold and topped with an unclear sauce, and the panna cotta for dessert was a sad sight. I definitely won't be stopping here again when I return to Domodossola. I strongly advise against it.
23/11/2025: Excellent osteria in the center of Domodossola with friendly and professional staff. The food is plentiful and excellent, with a good quality/price ratio. The beer selection is also excellent.

15/03/2025: A lovely evening with Wally Gators and Juda's Kiss. Before the concert, a delicious pizza and draft beer. The venue has a beautiful stage, designed for live music. Excellent acoustics, and a skilled sound engineer. A casual spot for a lovely evening with friends and good, strictly live music. Very easy to get to, with plenty of parking.
14/02/2025: We went for dinner on a Friday night to hear the band MalaMente. Welcoming environment, friendly and professional staff. I ate the ganassino with mashed potatoes and it was very good, the pizza is also good and digestible. Nice music and fun. Advised

06/10/2025: We stopped in spontaneously for dinner without a reservation. The meat, fish, and vegetables were of high quality and deliciously prepared. The price was fair, and the service was very attentive.
04/10/2025: The ambiance under the pergola is pleasant and the service friendly, but the value for money leaves something to be desired. The ravioli porcini tasted okay, albeit somewhat sparsely filled. The tagliatelle porcini seemed plain, almost too minimalist, which is disappointing given the prices. The portions are also rather small, which doesn't justify the whole experience. Overall, it's solid, but the prices are too high for what's on offer.
