09/08/2025: A beautiful mountain refuge, easily reached from the town of Malesco via an uphill path through the woods. The polenta with cheeses is excellent; I wasn't entirely convinced by the polenta with mixed meat sauces, but the house tarts are excellent. Good and fair prices.

16/08/2025: My wife and I always stop at Alfonso's whenever we're in Omegna. The service is super friendly, you feel right at home, and the food is spectacular. I personally fell in love with the linguine with clams, but everything else on the menu is excellent. We've tried the pizza several times, too, which is truly delicious! After a lovely trip to this beautiful town, I recommend finishing at CAVALIERI—it's the icing on the cake, so to speak! 10 out of 10!

15/03/2025: A lovely evening with Wally Gators and Juda's Kiss. ​​Before the concert, a delicious pizza and draft beer. The venue has a beautiful stage, designed for live music. Excellent acoustics, and a skilled sound engineer. A casual spot for a lovely evening with friends and good, strictly live music. Very easy to get to, with plenty of parking.

14/02/2025: We went for dinner on a Friday night to hear the band MalaMente. Welcoming environment, friendly and professional staff. I ate the ganassino with mashed potatoes and it was very good, the pizza is also good and digestible. Nice music and fun. Advised

18/06/2025: la danse des papilles, la gastronomie italienne à portée de bourse. nous nous sommes régalés durant une semaine. dans une ambiance sympa au bord d’un petit port et à l’ombre des magnolias. Servi aimable sympathique ce qui ajoute au plaisir. nous reviendrons. merci

06/06/2025: Wir waren gleich zweimal hier, so gut hat es uns gefallen. Vorgestern am Mittag, heute zum Abendessen. Vom Empfang über den Service bis zur Küche war alles perfekt. Die Küche besticht mit Liebe zum Detail, die Speisen sind geschmacklich gut abgestimmt und diskret gewürzt. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Vorgestern hatten wir beide den exotischen Salat mit Gamberi. Danach hatte ich die Spaghetti alla Chitarra und meine Frau den Branzino. Heute hatten wir als Vorspeise die Parmigiana di Melanzane. Danach Gnocchi und nochmals den Branzino. Die Portionen sind genau richtig, damit auch ein Dessert Platz hat, ein Panna Cotta und ein Tiramisu. Beim nächsten Besuch am Lago Maggiore steht dieses Restaurant wieder auf unserer Liste.

16/08/2025: I can't comment on the pizza since none of us tried it... as for the restaurant, the first courses were generally good, let's say average; the second courses were all pre-prepared and reheated on the spot, except for the fillet steak, which was cooked on a stone and therefore served still sizzling... the desserts didn't impress anyone... oh, and it's worth noting they don't serve ice cream... coffee, amaro, and limoncello are free on the house... a positive note. Price, considering it was August 15th, was average.

03/05/2025: Location carina con tavoli all'aperto e al chiuso divisi su di piani. Personale gentile e servizio veloce. Piatti davvero abbondanti ed eccezionali, buonissimi. Carne buona e cotta a dovere. Vi consiglio i Rosti.

19/06/2025: The food is excellent!!! But - on our evening, in addition to the very dedicated chef, there were two young colleagues (male and female) working. Even though it really wasn't busy, we had to sit for 30 minutes with our used plates, while the young waiters didn't even think to attend to our or the other tables. They chatted with each other on the sidelines or individually fetched items from the kitchen. There's really nothing to be said for gastronomy!!! Six empty tables, abandoned by guests, have not been cleared for 60 minutes now. We observed that other guests were also treated with disregard by the young staff. Oh well - but the food was, as I said, very delicious! Sensational apple pie dessert!

18/07/2025: It's definitely not cheap, but it's worth it, especially for wine lovers. The food is beautifully presented, the flavors are fantastic, and finally, when I order a dish, I get a truffle the way it should be, not just some truffle shavings. We were there with an 8-year-old child, so he was full and happy, especially after dessert. Delicious prosecco with herbs and a small starter. Minus one star for the service, as the wait between meals is longer with more people, but it's worth the wait.

20/06/2025: Lovely evening meal at this restaurant. Nice and cool in the garden shaded by grape vines. Staff were attentive and helpful. I would recommend visiting.

22/06/2025: I come for breakfast, and they proudly point to a fluorescent orange sign informing me that the right to sit outside costs €2 per person. Not a coffee, not a croissant, just the privilege of approaching an outdoor chair. I imagine they also charge for air, sunlight, and maybe even smiles? Result: I turned back. I'd rather eat standing up than condone this kind of commercial pettiness. OUTDOOR SERVIÓN €2.00 PERSONA 🤣

19/06/2025: The best ice cream I've had in the area. At €3 a cup, it's very good value.
