14/02/2026: Simple, clean family atmosphere and great food!

25/01/2026: This restaurant saved us after a failed winter hike. The owners welcomed us even though there were 15 of us, we hadn't booked, and we weren't all planning on ordering anything. They even provided us with unset tables and chairs. The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was excellent and plentiful, and the prices were absolutely fair. We'll definitely be back.

30/12/2025: A typical mountain place, mainly serving meat. Large tables abound. Good quality and quantity.

07/12/2025: A typical and characteristic mountain hotel. To reach it, you have to negotiate a few hairpin bends (but it's worth it). The rooms are comfortable, thanks to the wood that dominates, while the friendly service makes everything even more pleasant. This will definitely be a must-see in spring.

31/03/2026: The pizza is good. The spaghetti with cheese and pepper tastes good, but the portion size is a joke.

30/03/2026: The place looks nice, but the food isn't up to par. Polenta with cheese, sweet and bland; Spaghetti cacio e pepe, sweet and tasteless; Gnocchi with tomato and burrata, with a tomato sauce very similar to passata, sweet and flavorless. The fish, however, was good! The staff, however, were friendly.

09/10/2025: Tiffany is my ideal bar... it feels like home! Quick and friendly service, always a smile for everyone, even when it's crowded. I come here often for lunch; there are many options on the ever-changing daily menu, plus other à la carte options to suit all tastes, from main courses, first courses, second courses, piadinas, salads, and sandwiches... Fair prices and very good quality. The coffee is also good! See you soon 😁

01/02/2026: We went for an aperitif🍹: a very popular place, super friendly staff, but the real gem is the wines🍾... they even offer a free tasting of a single glass 🍷... something rare and much appreciated! All accompanied by a gourmet taglierini😋... not the usual chips! 🔟 and praise!

07/04/2026: We had dinner here last night with the family and were truly delighted. Restaurants in Cannobio are usually quite touristy, but this was a wonderful discovery. We ate really well: everything was fresh, from the bread to the homemade pasta, and not to mention the fish, which was truly excellent. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparing the dishes. We were very happy to have stumbled upon this restaurant: finally, a real Italian restaurant in Cannobio, with kind and welcoming staff. We will definitely be back!

28/09/2025: We had a fabulous time!🤩👌. I want to thank all the staff of Lido for making our day memorable🫶🥰👍. This is the kind of place were the owners treats you like an old friend, you could tell they really care about their guests and love what they do 😍💓(we even snapped a few pics 📸😉). The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The Chef came out to our table and made excellent recommendations! 👨‍🍳👌That made our Lunch extra special. We enjoyed our delicious freshly made food and the presentation was superb.🍽🍷🎉 Great atmosphere and the stunning views of Lake Maggiore is amazing. 🎷🎼🎷🏞🛶🏝 I highly recommend this place is a true gem 🎖🎊💯💎💎💎

08/04/2026: We stayed at the Rifugio Genziana al Mottarone and overall had a pleasant experience. The place is truly beautiful, in a splendid location and with a typical mountain atmosphere that we thoroughly enjoyed. We had the braised beef with polenta and the polenta with cheese, both delicious and tasty. It was a shame, however, that the service left us a bit perplexed. The waitress seemed rather rude at times, especially when we asked for a last-minute addition of polenta. When I asked about the presence of gluten in a dish, given my intolerance, the response was unhelpful and given in an annoyed tone. Managing the order with the tablet also didn't seem very practical. Furthermore, the prices seemed a bit high for the quality and portions served. Overall, a good experience, especially for the location and the food.

06/04/2026: More than a refuge, it's a restaurant with above-average prices (e.g., a glass of wine costs 9 euros, or desserts cost 10-12 euros... crazy). Our table hadn't been reserved as we'd been told over the phone. The service was inflexible and lacking empathy. There are more welcoming and affordable refuges, even in the Mottarone area. I won't be returning.

18/04/2026: First time at this refuge, the welcome was excellent. The interior is very compact, while the outdoor seating is more spacious. The dishes are simple and accompanied with polenta, although I personally prefer taragna or uncia polenta, while here they serve the classic yellow polenta. The "Belvedere" walk is beautiful. A must-try...

17/02/2026: A lovely Irish pub-style venue! Characteristic jazz decor, display of vintage collections, truly one of a kind. Young clientele! Very simple, young service. The appetizers are suitable for teenage palates, with highly processed, pre-prepared products, lots of fried food, and sauces. Suitable for this type of venue. The wine selection is limited and standard, nothing special to highlight, and the beer selection is a bit more extensive. I suggest the manager train his staff thoroughly on how to pour beers, especially Guinness, which requires time and proper procedure. Customers who order it know this and agree to pay, but the quality of the draft is expected. Paid street parking is accessible, but free after 8 pm. Disabled access is very limited due to the presence of differences in level; there are no ramps for reasonable space and architectural reasons. Suitable for moderately large groups. Otherwise, the venue is clean, well-managed, and the menu includes sandwiches, focaccia, and burgers. Live entertainment is not possible due to structural limitations. This place is recommended for an adult audience. All in all, one of the best places in the area. Well done, keep it up.

07/01/2026: It's a shame that the desire for a holiday made them close at 10pm and not at 1am as it was written, not letting us in.
