02/06/2026: A fantastic restaurant!
It's a nice place with good food, but what impressed me most was the quality of the pizza dough, which I found truly light and digestible. The atmosphere is very warm, and the staff is extremely friendly.
The price is truly fair: a generously sized pizza, a medium red draft beer, and a craft liqueur, totaled €34.
How many stars? I can't help but give it a perfect rating, because I can't find any flaws.
As soon as I have the chance, I'll be back.
01/06/2026: A very pleasant surprise. My favorite restaurant in Stresa since tonight. The food was excellent, the service was very attentive. Andrea, the owner, is a guarantee in every way. And then, you can find the white myrtle. And can we talk about the wine list? And that white Genepy??? Superb dinner, the price was actually low for the quality of the ingredients and the attentive service. Well done, well done, well done!

10/05/2026: Yesterday, while visiting the market in Intra, we stopped here in the afternoon for a few drinks. It's a great location with a pleasant, shady outdoor area. Perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the market for a while. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We'd gladly come again.
27/04/2026: A restaurant I highly recommend. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and they patiently make an effort to understand foreigners. The food was excellent; we had a pizza and spaghetti, and of course, two homemade tiramisus.

29/04/2026: We spent a five-day vacation in Verbania, and after trying this little restaurant, we returned three more times. A classic neighborhood restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, the waitress was always very welcoming and friendly. Prices are average, but the portions are generous and tasty. The charcuterie and cheese platter is a must-try, and we were almost full for two. The risotto and ravioli were truly delicious; we ordered a tagliata, which was also very good. It's also very affordable at lunchtime thanks to the daily menu.
29/04/2026: Excellent food, truly excellent starters, first and second courses and generous portions, the risotto was excellent and the tagliata melted in the mouth, an excellent platter of cold cuts and cheeses, we stopped to compliment the chef and the girl was kind and helpful.

14/08/2025: We decided to have a pizza party with friends and went to Vecchia Intra, a lovely place with a lovely outdoor garden. On Wednesday evenings, they do a pizza tour by reservation, which was our choice. The pizza was very good. The staff, made up of a very young team, was very good. We had a lovely evening and it's a place we recommend. 👍

12/05/2026: My lunch here was the best Italian cuisine experience of my entire trip. And that is after dining at some time places across North Italy for 2 weeks. This gem is hidden away in the tiny village of Gignese near Lake Maggiore. The entire ambience is cosy and welcoming. There is even a freplace inside. The hosts are warm and friendly despite the difficulty inspeaking English. The lasagna, the spaghetti and the risotto were all everything you dream about Italian food. The menu isn't elaborate. But that's alright, because whatever was on it, blew us away.
06/05/2026: Absolutely one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten in. The atmosphere is cozy, the walls lined with antiques and the blazing fire in the corner makes it looks like a fairy tale. The lasagna is outstanding as is the wild boar and the beef goulash. The venison ravioli was exotic.
I highly recommend it.

We were there for the second time today, and it was delicious again; we have absolutely nothing negative to say. Superb from start to finish. :)
