25/05/2025: If you are celiac this is really a place you can't miss. AIC certified place. All dishes with generous portions (especially the fried fish). Very good fried fish, light and crunchy, one of the best I've ever eaten. Super friendly and hospitable owners. Wide selection of very good and special gluten-free beers. I will definitely go back if I go back to the area.

04/05/2025: Homemade restaurant, family and informal environment! Dated but clean and managed with passion! The owner serves the tables with precision and courtesy, he explains the situation very well origin of the products and culinary choices! We had lunch outside under a beautiful pergola, with a mixed platter as an appetizer, a first course each (the very tasty gricia!!) and a sample of meat (braised meat and donkey mince) with polenta, dessert (supplied in collaboration with a local pastry shop), water, house wine and coffee! €47 per person! Generous portions, good product quality! Advised!! It is also pleasant to think that our lunch can "support" activities like this, managed at a family level with sacrifices and the intention of offering non-trivial products!

The moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and filled with the inviting aroma of high-quality local products. We started in the market area, which is a paradise for anyone who appreciates authentic Italian flavors. The selection of cheeses, cured meats, wines, and gourmet specialties is outstanding — all sourced locally and carefully chosen. The staff took the time to explain the different products and even offered us tastings. You can feel their passion for what they do. Then we moved to the restaurant, where the experience got even better. Every dish we ordered was a perfect blend of tradition and creativity, made with fresh ingredients and presented with great attention to detail. The flavors were incredible — rich, balanced, and full of character. You can tell the chefs truly care about their craft. La Casera is not just a restaurant or a shop; it’s a place where you feel the heart of the region — its flavors, its people, and its culture. We left with full hearts, happy stomachs, and bags full of delicious local products to take home. We can’t wait to come back. Absolutely recommended to anyone visiting Verbania!

Staff really kind and helpful in everything, even in recommending paths and places to see in case you don't know where to go. Good food Overall excellent quality/price ratio

21/04/2025: Giornata piovosa rallegrata da un ottimo pranzo al ristorante Flizzi. Personale gentile ed attento, cibo ottimo. Abbiamo gustato tomino con speck, nocciole e melograno, gulash di cervo con purè e un piatto di macugnaghese. Tutto molto gustoso. Consigliato.

29/05/2025: Overall good ice cream, but terrible experience with the service. I asked for marron glacé, but at the bottom of the cup I found tiramisu (which I hadn't even tasted). When I pointed this out, I was rudely told, "Do you notice now that you've finished it?" — as if I was trying to invent something. Very unprofessional. Also, when they finally gave me the marron glacé, it tasted more like meringue than anything else. Too bad, because the product could also be good, but courtesy towards the customer should be the basis.

17/05/2025: Homemade agnolotti with walnut sauce, FABULOUS! We ate very well, so much courtesy and speed in bringing the dishes. As good Venetians we asked to do the "rasentin" with grappa after the coffee and they obliged us, having fun! We will definitely return on a next visit to Isola Bella.

08/05/2025: Absolutely recommended! If you want authentic Italian cuisine, you've come to the right place. We can only recommend the gnocchi with walnuts. The two ladies are also very nice. You feel a bit like at home :) Authentic, loving atmosphere!

09/05/2025: Ristorante curato, con ampia sala interna e veranda esterna, ma il meglio lo dà l'arioso spazio all'aperto dove pranzare in una bella giornata di sole. Menù alla carta, scelta non vasta ma interessante, portate tra il giusto e l'abbondante, di sapiente preparazione. Discreta selezione di vini del territorio e oltre. Servizio professionale, un tantino lento ma per rilassarsi immersi nella natura si accetta volentieri. Prezzi leggermente sopra l'aspettativa, pur dichiarati chiaramente sul menu anche online, ma ormai é così un po' dappertutto.
