03/02/2026: On Sunday, February 1st, I took my relatives from Milan. They were thrilled with what they found, the atmosphere, the menu, the welcome. I, unfortunately, wasn't in good shape and wasn't feeling well, but I felt truly pampered by the young woman serving our table. A day that started with a terrible headache went smoothly thanks to the professionalism and kindness of the staff at La Meta dei Sapori. Thanks for Sunday!! My grandchildren will be back to visit me 😉😁

04/01/2026: It's not our first time there, but we always return with enthusiasm and confidence. Good, well-prepared food with prompt, professional service. Extensive wine list with recommendations and advice from the owner. The atmosphere is very unique, its layout reminiscent of a cable car station. Everything is very bright. Ample parking. If I really have to find a flaw, it's that the entrance to the restaurant from the highway is a bit confusing; perhaps more visible signs could be helpful.

06/02/2026: The traditional pizzas are delicious. The gourmet ones are equally delicious, truly gourmet, giving meaning to this overused word. In the area, there are classic pizzerias where you can eat more than decent pizzas. There are gourmet pizzerias that make sense. But the "Fiore di Latte" remains the best in my opinion, and by a long shot.

29/12/2025: Today I celebrated my birthday at this beautiful refuge. You're greeted by the smiles and kindness of the staff. As soon as you sit at the table, you feel the warmth of home and a breathtaking view. We started with an appetizer accompanied by spring onions, peppers, and eggplant, all delicious. Next up was polenta with braised beef, bruscitt, stewed venison, and polenta with melted cheese. What can I say? Excellent, and the portions are generous. Since we had some polenta left over, we finished with polenta with cream, a delight for the palate! Let's move on to dessert, you can tell they're homemade! I ordered the fishbone and walnut cake, excellent! If I've piqued your interest, just go and see them, you'll love it! Congratulations to all the staff for their excellent work. They make every customer feel like family.

09/10/2025: Very fair prices, friendly service, and delicious, typical Italian dishes like homemade lasagna, gnocchi with buffalo mozzarella, and pizza. There's also a small children's menu. The outdoor area is huge. I'm pleasantly surprised!

27/09/2025: We were here on our first evening and had a great pizza. Four days later, we came back, and what we ate today was also very, very delicious, but we found the very friendly service particularly worth mentioning.

09/02/2026: A restaurant serving traditional Ossola and lakeside cuisine. The first courses are delicious, and the venison stew is even better. The polenta could be improved; it's a bit too salty. Highly recommended, and I definitely think I'll be back.

08/12/2025: I had the opportunity to have lunch at this restaurant a couple of years ago and had a wonderful time: excellent food, excellent service, everything perfect. I wanted to return today, so I called and was very kindly told they would keep the kitchen open for me. Unfortunately, I had a setback and wasn't able to make it. They tried calling me, but when they couldn't get through, they also sent me a WhatsApp message to kindly let me know the kitchen was on hold for me. The service is excellent: courtesy and respect for the customer are clearly core values ​​for them. The cuisine is truly top-quality. Highly recommended.

26/01/2026: We were passing by to visit the lake and stumbled upon this restaurant completely by chance. It was truly a wonderful surprise! Delicious dishes, with interesting and sophisticated twists for those who want to venture a little further (the carpaccio was spectacular) but without going overboard. Excellent portions, you definitely won't leave hungry! The staff was truly exquisite, very attentive. It's a shame we don't live in the area; we would definitely have become regulars. The prices are average, but the quality of what we ate makes them worth it. Thank you!

12/01/2026: While searching for a restaurant in Domodossola, I came across this lovely restaurant-pizzeria. It was a lovely evening, with good food, good wine, and good service. Prices were fair for the quality, and it was free of all the gourmet frills and Michelin-starred-style frills. Don't be put off by the unusual name (it was the name of the previous brewery the owners ran), the location (it's in a sort of alley), and even if the waiters ignored you when you entered (the room was full, but we were ignored for five minutes). My beef cheek was cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes and tapas nabour were balanced and flavorful, my wife's vitello tonnato was very well cooked (pink in the center) with the sauce served on the side, and the bread and milk tart was very simple but delicious. The waitress was friendly but not intrusive and always gave us excellent advice, and the owner was kind and smiling. A distinctive touch: two MV Augustas are on display in the restaurant. I haven't tried the pizzas, which seem very thin and crispy. Well done! I'll definitely be back when I pass through Domodossola again.

19/12/2025: At Paolino's, a family-friendly atmosphere, we tasted mixed boiled meat. Seven expertly cooked cuts, served one at a time, tender meat accompanied by saline and mustard. The service was top-notch, finishing with a panettone and delicious mascarpone cream. The price was fair. Well done.

17/01/2026: A fantastic experience! We had lunch here and were impressed by the quality: you can taste that everything is homemade, from the pasta to the desserts. The dishes are truly generous, and the flavors are typical of the mountains, authentic and very fresh. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to everyone, and we'll definitely be back!
