22/06/2025: Extremely delicious ice cream, rarely good at a reasonable price. It's a bit hidden on a small dead-end street, but it's worth the search.

17/07/2025: A very intimate and private restaurant in the center of Isola dei Pescatori, far from the hustle and bustle of boats ferrying tourists back and forth. Upon entry, we were greeted by the staff, especially Pina, the owner, with a big smile. The restaurant doesn't overlook the lake, but it does have a lovely internal courtyard that allows you to eat al fresco in a peaceful setting. As Pina says, "The lake is all around, here you eat," and indeed, the food here is truly delicious! Excellent food; I recommend the lake specialties, especially the pike-perch. Everything was wonderful; I'll definitely be back! 29/06/2025: Nice view of the lake, but food and service disappointing. I’ve ordered the piatto del giorno, since it was the local fish the I wanted. Though, the fillet had many spines and the baked potatoes tasted deep fried. Staff behaved like doing a favor. There was gluten-free beer in the menu, but not in reality.

25/06/2025: Great fish 🐟 nice view, super wide menu with a range of foods from pizzas to salads and more. I recommend having fish, they do it very well, it's fresh, simple and flavourful...the way it should be👌🏻 The staff are super fun and helpful, trust their recommendations, they are not there to rip you off 😉 Very good price, considering the location and view 🏝️ it really surprised me !! No downs to highlight in here, just the white wine could be cooler 😜

19/07/2025: Restaurant with a panoramic veranda. Fast service and friendly staff. Excellent dishes, especially the charcuterie board, the egg with bacon and cheese, and the ricotta ravioli on a cream cheese sauce. Prices are reasonable. Recommended.

22/06/2025: We were there for dinner. We didn't have a reservation, but we got a table anyway. The owner speaks excellent German (her native language) and explained the menu to us verbally. It was small, but there was something for everyone. The portions weren't that big, but we were full. And the prices for a three-course meal were definitely excellent. And it tasted very good, too. We'd be happy to come back.

10/07/2025: Metto 5 stelle perche 6 non si può. Carinissima osteria nel centro di Intra, a due passi dall'imbarcadero. Ambiente caratteristico e volutamente rustico ricavato da un antico stallaggio di cavalli sulla via del Sempione. Abbiamo optato per due menù degustazione pesce di lago, con piatti spiegati dalla gentilissima titolare, costituito da un carpione di arborelle, trota e salmerino, dal gusto deciso ma non invasivo, il sapore di aceto e salsine di accompagnamento non copriva il sapore del pesce, e poi un salmerino impanato e fritto gustosissimo e assolutamente non unto. Per finire un'eccellente bunette. Gentilezza della titolare encomiabile, piatti molto abbondanti e prezzo realmente competitivo.

29/06/2025: Ho cenato con mia figlia in questo locale, a due passi dal lago e in pieno centro, molto carino e fresco, considerate le temperature drl periodo. Ottima qualità/prezzo, e personale gentilissimo. Ho degustato un menù di lago, buonissimo con porzioni abbondanti. Idem per il menù selvaggina di mia figlia, probabilmente il fresco del locale le ha permesso di mangiare polenta e cervo 😊 Consigliatissimo

18/06/2025: Nous avons merveilleusement bien mangé au restaurant La Botte à Stresa. Tout était parfait du début à la fin. L’accueil a été chaleureux et sincère, l’ambiance à la fois élégante et détendue, et chaque plat était une véritable découverte de saveurs. La patronne est attentionnée et d’une gentillesse rare. On sent qu’elle met tout son cœur dans son établissement. Le service est fluide, et on se sent tout de suite comme à la maison. Bref, nous avons passé une superbe soirée, dans une ambiance conviviale et raffinée. Une très belle adresse à ne pas manquer si vous êtes de passage à Stresa. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

29/06/2025: It was recommended to us by the owner of the property where we were staying and we were very satisfied. Good value for money, varied menu, characteristic location, very beautiful in the center of Stresa in a beautiful little square.
