21/09/2025: A surprising discovery!!! We stumbled upon it at the last minute and almost missed out on dinner... But thanks to the extremely kind staff, they found us a little spot for a quick pizza. Oh right.... The pizza!!! Really good: from the tomato sauce to the meatballs, the ingredients are top-notch. The desserts are just as good! If you're passing through, it's a must-see, but don't forget to book!

14/12/2025: A dear friend's birthday lunch centered on the mixed fried fish. A very positive experience. Practically all the standard dishes, with a couple of amazing dessert variations (pavesino with fig jam and gianduiotto). Everything was excellent, the staff was very kind and attentive. It deserves a round of applause.

25/07/2025: Yesterday I was in Carmagnola to run some business and we decided to grab a quick bite at this pasta shop I'd discovered months ago, before heading back to Liguria, where we live. We enjoyed the classic plin. They were delicious, perfect portions, and the owner was very kind. Before leaving, I bought a supply of stuffed pasta. Next time we go, we know where to stop.

23/07/2025: Excellent food, friendly service, welcoming and smiling staff. I discovered it by chance, and it's now become a regular stop every time I pass through Carmagnola. I recommend the meatballs in tomato sauce (the best I've ever tasted), and I'm embarrassed to know which one to recommend first, because they're all better than the last! Don't miss the Amaro Carmagnolese liqueur; you won't be disappointed!

15/10/2025: I've been frequenting Carignano since this summer and have had breakfast at several cafés in the town, mostly drawn by the shaded outdoor tables and easier parking. Only here, however, have I found brioches the way I like them, without fancy fillings or dough. Since I'd praised them so much, before I even started this review, I saw him arrive with one of these delicious amaretti (made three days ago, so be prepared). How nice to start the day like this!

07/12/2025: Fixed-price menu. Excellent appetizers, including a wonderful vitello tonnato. Delicious pumpkin and vin santo risotto. Delicate roast beef ravioli. A well-executed braised meat. Quick service despite the restaurant being full and two graduation ceremonies at nearby tables.

The restaurant is located in the historic center, amidst quiet alleys and eye-catching artistic decorations. You ascend an internal staircase and are greeted by the friendly and attentive staff. The dining rooms are adorned with memorabilia and paintings, making your stay pleasant and relaxing. The food is excellent and tasty, combining tradition and sophistication. The set menu facilitates speedy service without compromising quality. A wonderful discovery.

20/11/2025: This traditional restaurant of reasonable quality also offers space for large groups. Reservations are available on Fridays for paella, and the day is dedicated to seafood. The service is well-organized, capable of serving many people at once. The price/quality ratio is good, considering the average quality of the cuisine.

24/08/2025: As always, I love this place. The polenta lunch is a fixed menu, with a choice of polenta, dessert, coffee, and water. Top!

04/12/2025: I had the opportunity to dine here with two friends, and we ordered pizza (the menu, however, offers a wide selection, including first courses, second courses, and appetizers). The highlight, at least of the pizza I tried (pictured), was definitely the ingredients: the bresaola was tasty, though not overly salty, as is often the case, and the burrata was good (average). The only flaw, which I think can happen and therefore has little impact on the review, and I'm not uploading photos, is that I found a piece of the burrata's plastic packaging in the pizza. The tomato base (not acidic) and the arugula were also good. The pizza was cooked adequately in a wood-fired oven (if I'm not mistaken). PERFECTLY SALTY. Regarding the atmosphere and service, I really appreciated them. They were suitable for both formal and informal occasions, being quiet and moderately noisy (there's no silence that makes you feel uncomfortable 😅👌). It took a while for dessert to be brought, but since we ordered it practically right after the pizza, it's a good thing. It's an experience I'd repeat, especially considering the good quality-price ratio! 😊

02/12/2025: Nice atmosphere, although a little noisy when there are a lot of people. My daughter wanted the chiacchiere she saw being brought to a table, but was told it was off-menu and made especially for them. I understand, but I don't think it's a good thing. My pizza was also burnt around the edges, the sauce was undercooked, and so thin you couldn't hold it. When we went to order twice, we were told it was already paid for. Only when we insisted, since there were 12 of us, did they notice the mistake and charge us. I won't be returning.

15/11/2025: Without exaggeration, we are a family of four, two adults and two children, from Briançon, France. We've been eating at this restaurant almost once a month since we discovered it by chance in 2018 or 2019. We only eat the pizzas, and although they are generous, it's the only restaurant where our plates go home empty. The rest is very good service, and the prices are much more affordable than others.

17/10/2025: We came to Briancon on Wednesday for lunch. Abdul and the waitresses were very nice. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The polenta and sausage were delicious. Thanks, see you next time.

12/09/2025: A top butcher shop if you love quality dry-aged meat. You can eat outside. I had a 1.6 kg minhota with a side of potatoes that would feed a regiment😂. The owner is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Open for lunch only. I'll definitely be back soon!

14/10/2025: The pizza is good, but these days you pay as much for a pizza as for spaghetti with clams. You can't get a €16 pizza.

12/10/2025: We've got to the place by chance and we are so lucky. The staff were friendly and professional, and the food was amazing, we've had one of the best pizzas we tried in italy for sure and the wine was immaculate (we ordered the waiter's recommendation). This is a must if you're around!
