25/10/2025: Top!! Everything was delicious, the welcome was excellent, and the service was friendly. If you want quality meat, this is the place to go. It's cooked right in front of you and served on time. You'll feel right at home, but still well looked after. Highly recommended if you want a relaxed atmosphere and delicious food!

18/03/2026: Dinner on March 6, 2026 This restaurant enjoys a wonderful location in the historic, semi-central Vanchiglia neighborhood, where time seems to have stood still: the large wooden balcony, brick vaults, unevenly plastered walls, dark wood tables, and low paneling evoke memories of old-fashioned style and tradition. The menu, not overly extensive, is a tribute to Piedmont and its signature dishes (with the exception of the decidedly foreign orecchiette alla Gaia). Our choices included two mixed appetizers, generous and pleasant; a plate of orecchiette topped with Castelmagno fondue, well-seasoned but not quite al dente; an ossobuco with artichokes, good but less flavorful than expected; and an excellent baked shank with potatoes. The wine list (all Piedmontese) is appropriate for the type of restaurant and reasonably priced, from which we chose a good Barbera di Cocito Dario. Very courteous and punctual service. Adequate bill. Rating: 8

06/04/2026: Usseglio has three very charming hotels: two Art Nouveau-style hotels, Grand'Usseglio 1911 & Rocciamelone 1925, and the third, Furnasa, which is unrivaled in terms of warmth and tranquility. Its secluded location and tranquility make it a perfect place to relax.

03/03/2026: Excellent value and impeccable cleanliness. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and truly dedicated to service, which really makes a difference during your stay. As the mother of a celiac girl, I particularly appreciate the attention they pay to dietary needs: at Furnasa, everything is perfectly organized and truly feels like a celiac's paradise. They have bread, biscuits, snacks, breadcrumbs, and many other options that are hard to find even in the best restaurants in Turin. Plus, the place is completely dog-friendly, which is a key feature for me. Highly recommended.

05/04/2026: Terrible braised meat. Overall, the quality was subpar. The waitress tried to justify the situation by making it worse. The gesture of turning away the braised meat was commendable.

18/04/2026: This restaurant serves almost exclusively seafood. The welcome was good, with several helpful waiters on duty, but perhaps a little more customer service could make things even better. The place features a tablecloth table setting, with cutlery changed almost every course. The dishes were plentiful, and the fish, both raw and cooked, was of good quality, well-cooked, and very flavorful, especially the clam and bottarga delicacies. The price was reasonable. Recommended!!!

17/04/2026: Today I went to this restaurant for the first time. I was thrilled with the food, especially the excellent fish. I'd definitely go back. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat excellent fish.

22/03/2026: Saturday night, the place was packed. We asked for a table for 9:30 PM, an hour later, for seven people, fully aware of the inconvenience, but the last-minute arrival of these friends meant I couldn't make any plans any sooner. The staff didn't refuse our request and worked out how to accommodate us. Eventually, they managed to find us a table in this truly lovely, warm, and family-friendly place, which surprised us with its original offerings. But it was the bagna calda that caught our attention, truly one of the best I've ever eaten, certainly the best in a restaurant. The first courses were also good, and finally the desserts. Service was prompt, courteous, and never intrusive. Congratulations, we'll be back (perhaps booking in advance!)

27/11/2025: Fabulous! We went to a birthday party for dinner and took the opportunity to enjoy a short weekend getaway. Excellent dinner, beautiful mountain-style restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and very welcoming rooms, excellent and plentiful breakfast. Reasonable and reasonable prices. A weekend to be enjoyed again in the splendid Lanzo Valleys.
