01/11/2024: We recently went to the Circolo De Amicis, with a dozen friends. If there is one thing that must be recognized, it is that the dishes were really good, appreciated by everyone and presented with care. However, there were some aspects that ruined the dinner. First, there was a dog roaming freely on the ground floor. Remember that not everyone feels comfortable with dogs off leash and you shouldn't expect to find one loose in a restaurant. But the real twist came with the final bill: we found ourselves with 3 euros more on the last receipt. The justification of the gentleman at the checkout? He had to get back the 25 cents for each bill paid (divided by person), which he had rounded up to pay a round amount. We're talking about a dinner costing around 500 euros...embarrassing treatment to say the least.

04/08/2024: We have often been to this pizzeria/restaurant and it has always been to our liking. The pizza is very good, other dishes are also exceptional. The place is clean and very welcoming. Large space between tables and very comfortable. I have no adjectives to describe the waiters, very professional guys, kind and always cheerful. They do everything to satisfy the customer's needs. In particular I want to mention the waitress Martina for her kindness, availability and friendliness and a way of conveying belonging to the company which is very rare nowadays. Congratulations to the owner for the excellent selection of staff. Highly recommended!!! P.S. prices in line with other pizzerias/restaurants.

02/08/2024: Stumbled in this cafe while walking and decided to stop. Everything was great! The food, the cafe, the vibe and the service. The servers work very fast so you won’t have to wait long and they were very nice and welcoming to tourists. We had a good breakfast and would totally recommend to anyone.

04/06/2024: The salads are all with animal proteins. They have an absolutely unpleasant and limited vegetarian menu. The service is good but not flexible: when I asked for a vegetarian sandwich they told me to come in (I was outside) and look at what was left... Whoever accompanied me did not like the portions and quality of the "traditional" dishes.

19/11/2024: A stop in this place is always pleasant, even though it is small, it can also accommodate children and animals with practicality and kindness. The food is really healthy, varied, and the portions are generous for the price paid (you can compose your own bowl of salad freely "buffet-style", as well as various baked preparations sold by the piece/portion, and there are also squares of focaccia "free flow"). Many vegetarian and vegan options. Fast self-service type service but without the feeling of "squalor" that this type of setting usually causes, rather a cheerful and warm atmosphere.

17/10/2024: Ottime piadine con molta varietà di scelta, buonissimo l’impasto con curcuma e patate: adoro “l’amabile”. Personale gentile e super efficiente il servizio, nonostante sia sempre pieno di ordinazioni in pausa pranzo. Preferisco la piadina da passeggio: servita in modo tale che si riesce a consumare, senza sbrodoli, passeggiando al Parco lì di fronte. Una pausa davvero rigenerante.

02/08/2024: A very nice restaurant with good food and very nice, competent staff. Furnished in a warm industrial style. You can drink homemade vermouth as an aperitif (very good). As a starter I had the Piedmontese starter plate and as dessert the panna cotta (see pictures), both very appealing and tasty. Served by the friendly and very experienced staff who also selected the perfect wine accompaniment. Totally recommended.

19/07/2024: Very nice place in the center of Turin. We went there attracted by the vermouth on tap. Dogs can enter. Very nice interior. Professional, courteous and fast service. It wasn't very crowded and there were a few tourists. Unfortunately there is only one type of vermouth on tap, the rosé one, the others can be taken by the glass (we tried the classic red, the dry white one and the non-dry white one, the best by far). to eat three Piedmontese appetizers, not bad (22 euros), enough for one person. Then the duck breast and the octopus. Both very good, but small portions. As a dessert, cheeses with honey and vermouth gelé, remarkable. The final cost was 109 euros. The food is good, the place is nice, the service is good, the only thing is that the dishes are a little small compared to the price. Go out, you're a little hungry.

29/09/2024: Il cibo è squisito. Personale gentilissimo. Prezzi non bassi ma non comunque esagerati (un primo intorno ai 17 euro e anche i secondi, un insalata piccolina 6 euro, i dolci 7 euro). Non sono d’accordo asino sul far pagare un coperto per intero ad una bimba di neanche 3 anni così come un piatto di penne in bianco 8 euro dopo aver speso 200 euro. La qualità dei piatti rimane comunque una conferma.

21/11/2024: Questo locale è un luogo magico, una vera piola di altri tempi che racconta la storia di Torino. È una tappa obbligata per chi vuole scoprire come erano le autentiche piole torinesi di una volta. Il locale è piccolo, un po' spartano, ma accogliente all’interno, ma la vera sorpresa è il déhor nel cortile del condominio: un’atmosfera unica, intima e senza tempo. Le cameriere sono frizzanti e simpaticissime e rendono l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Ci sono stato per un aperitivo e sono poi sono tornato nel dopocena: un bicchiere di vino accompagnato da un piccolo antipasto a soli 4 euro. Rapporto qualità-prezzo incredibile! Un posto che merita assolutamente di essere provato a Torino, sia per il gusto che per l’atmosfera. Perfetto per chi vuole vivere un assaggio della tradizione torinese. Consigliatissimo anche perché è frequentato da molti giovani.

22/10/2024: recensione molto difficile… Alla fine ho optato per un bel quattro. Perché come si fa a restare insensibili a uno degli ultimi esempi di cosa è una Piola torinese nella sua essenza originaria? O al prezzo minimo che consente l’accesso a tutti, o anche al cibo che comunque nella sua piccola offerta in alcuni casi fa comunque la sua gran figura? Certo che poi vai in bagno, tiri lo scarico, inizi a capire che i tuoi piedi si stanno bagnando e passa la poesia. Ho ancora il servizio lento di alcuni giorni, che comunque fa parte dei classici difetti di un locale a prezzo popolare e mediamente affollato. In modo oggettivo dovrei classificarlo come “nella media” ma poi sapendo cosa rappresenta il punto extra al merito è d’obbligo.
