16/10/2025: We returned for the second year in a row for lunch on Ferragosto, and from five, I invited seven more guests. Everyone was absolutely satisfied. It didn't disappoint. The fixed menu offered excellent, quality pairings. The price was reasonable considering the holiday and the wine selection. The location is very pleasant, with a small but charming outdoor terrace. Excellent, fast, and cheerful service. Kudos to Luca for his always warm welcome. We'll be back.

22/09/2025: The food was excellent and well-cooked, but the quantity was limited (they never asked for second helpings, and the portions were small). The service was unremarkable, as the waiters didn't serve; they simply placed trays on the table, and then everyone had to serve themselves, but they didn't even bring serving utensils. Little attention was paid to children's needs unless specifically requested. Overall, good, but I expected better.

03/12/2025: We've been celebrating Thanksgiving at their hotel next door for 20 years, and every year it's spectacular! We celebrate various events: seminars, birthdays, and even dinners with family or friends, but the staff always offers stellar service. The dishes are delicious with unique touches, and the prices are affordable in a beautiful setting in the historic center of Turin. It's been our favorite restaurant for many years, and it's always a great pleasure to eat at Mare Chiaro!! 🍾❤️

26/10/2025: I had dinner here with my wife. High-quality food from a well-constructed menu. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location. The desserts were also delicious. Digestion (a less bucolic but important aspect) was uneventful. Fair prices. I will definitely return and bring more people.

08/10/2025: While I never give five stars to my first meal, I found this restaurant to be a very pleasant surprise. The location is beautifully renovated, the service is prompt, courteous, and with a touch of humanity that never hurts, and the cuisine is excellent and reasonably priced. The wine list emphasizes local products. Highly recommended.

25/10/2025: Top!! Everything was delicious, the welcome was excellent, and the service was friendly. If you want quality meat, this is the place to go. It's cooked right in front of you and served on time. You'll feel right at home, but still well looked after. Highly recommended if you want a relaxed atmosphere and delicious food!

28/11/2025: Dinner with French colleagues who have already been here three times under the previous management. They were very happy to introduce me to the place. I've lived in Turin for 10 years. I liked the photos and reviews on Google. Unfortunately, the management has changed; the old lady who ran it before is no longer running it, but her son is. Prices have gone up dramatically, and the quality has declined. I had the guanciale with sauce and potatoes, an outrageous amount for Italy; I paid €36! Not to mention the wine my colleagues paid for, and without a starter or dessert... The service forgot my colleague's side dish and brought me a tiny, cold portion of guanciale first. I took it back to the kitchen, and it came back a little fuller and warmer. I'll just say that the guanciale in salsa dish is listed at €24 for just the meat (nothing special, I've had better at a trattoria for €16 for the dish with a side dish included), but the potatoes are extra!!! And I drank water. My colleagues were shocked by the prices and quantities. Shameful, we will definitely not go back.

23/10/2025: What a lovely place! We had a wonderful lunch! We had the daily menu and it was delicious! The antipasti were delicious and more than enough, followed by a delicious pasta with beef stew ragu. It came with bread and a glass of wine (a lovely wine, by the way), and coffee afterward! And all for €18!

23/09/2025: Tried it on the evening of September 19, 2025. The restaurant is located in the quaint little village of Champlas Janvier, in the former stables of a beautifully renovated chalet. The interior is very welcoming and tasteful. The owner welcomed us with great courtesy and friendliness. After a complimentary aperitif, we had appetizers of raw meat carpaccio and a salad of celery, walnuts, and parmesan shavings. Everything was excellent. We continued with superb homemade cheese gnocchi and a seasonal soup. For dessert, a chestnut parfait was also excellent. We left very satisfied. We will definitely return to try other dishes in such a comfortable setting.

In particular, I enjoyed a fabulous platter, with truly exceptional cured meats and, if I may say so, cheeses. I also tried a pizza, and it was truly excellent. When it came to the bill, the quality-price ratio was truly exceptional. I've been wanting to try this place for a long time, and I'm really starting to regret not having tried it sooner 😁😁 Congratulations to all the staff, keep up the good work 🙂🙂🙂

The traditional Turin dishes, with a contemporary twist, are simply spectacular! The quality/price ratio is truly incredible! The refined setting and atmosphere are reminiscent of a Michelin-starred restaurant. I wouldn't be surprised if I found it in the Michelin guide tomorrow, because it's truly worthy. Congratulations!
