20/03/2026: Piola da Celso is a true trattoria, like it used to be, one that's becoming increasingly rare these days. You come here to eat well and leave satisfied: generous portions and tasty dishes, made with care and without frills. The owners are delightful and make you feel right at home, creating that authentic atmosphere that makes all the difference. The house wine is in keeping with the menu: simple but good, perfect to accompany the meal.

19/03/2026: I returned to Trattoria da Celso after many years... Grandpa Celso would be proud of his grandson Carlo and his daughters who run this place, maintaining the flavors of tradition with perfect, fast service... I remembered when one summer Grandpa Celso sat with us under the pergola in the small courtyard to talk about a topic very dear to him... "the fiule 🤣 "... but personal memories aside, the food is truly good and the flavors are those of the true Piola Piontese... thank you all for your work and for the commitment and passion that you offer us visitors every day... a special hug to the aunt who was not present

15/03/2026: Piedmontese lunch, 6 starters, risotto with Castelmagno and speck, roast and baked potatoes, dessert all excellent, generous portions, seconds, good house wine, price €31: the only downside is that if you dine in the large room the noise of the diners becomes almost unbearable, but as in many other restaurants, perhaps I'm too sensitive: I will definitely return.

16/03/2026: What a wonderful surprise! I gave it four stars simply because it's a LocAnda, but I didn't see the rooms since I only ate there. The food was good, the price was very fair, the decor was very refined without being swanky (which would be out of place in such a small place, in my opinion), and the service was friendly. I arrived at 1:30, which is already a bit late for an inn in a remote village outside Turin, but they welcomed me with kindness and helpfulness. If you're passing through Pessinetto di fuori and want to stop for a bite to eat, I definitely recommend it!

10/01/2026: Wonderful welcome, warm, spacious, and delightful room, very comfortable mattress. Excellent breakfast. Conversation too. It's a shame I couldn't stay for lunch, but if the breakfast cakes are any indication, I'd say the food is excellent.

27/03/2026: One of the best meals we had in Italy was at this small restaurant in Turin. We had the tasting menu and loved every course. Service was also excellent. Will go back next time. We were lucky to get a table at short notice but will pre book properly next time

06/03/2026: Second time at Casa Amelie and once again: everything is truly delicious. Precise dishes, excellent flavors, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. Compliments to the chef for his great work. I'll definitely be back!

22/03/2026: We had dinner at Cantine Risso and were pleasantly surprised. The ingredients are high-quality. We recommend the pork shank! The desserts are also very good. The staff is friendly and very kind. The place isn't big but it's very welcoming and original. Recommended!!

22/03/2026: For many years, whenever I pass through Turin with my dad, I've had lunch here so he can enjoy the pork shank he loves. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and in the summer, it's lovely to eat in the courtyard.

20/12/2025: Nora Book is a bookstore where you can discover a thousand tools to stay intensely alive, a bar with delicious vegan and non-vegan products, alcoholic (outstanding) and non-alcoholic (also excellent), and above all, a place where you feel "safe" just the way you are. Everyone who works there is highly professional, polite, and competent, and always very genuine, helping me remember that when I go to a business, I'm buying a service, not a person. In Turin, it's my place of pampering and a haven of the heart. A special mention for Enzo's refinement in suggesting new drinks, his attention to detail, and the deliciousness of his unique cocktails! And another for Denise's ability to combine the research for the books to be included in the exhibition with their promotion and distribution, a work that is more invaluable to Turin every year. Thank you, Nora Book, you should be paid by the city :).

19/12/2025: Nice place, good pastries and coffee, with reasonable prices, but a very cold welcome, without a smile, at least for occasional customers like us. At times, it felt like a burden, while the attitude toward regular customers was very different. Too bad, it would have been a nice regular stop during our days in Turin. Edit: Given the response, I have to clarify: we weren't even given a smile, and the attitude toward us compared to other customers was annoyed, unnecessarily cold. We weren't expecting anything special, just a welcoming atmosphere, which we didn't find.

06/04/2026: Usseglio has three very charming hotels: two Art Nouveau-style hotels, Grand'Usseglio 1911 & Rocciamelone 1925, and the third, Furnasa, which is unrivaled in terms of warmth and tranquility. Its secluded location and tranquility make it a perfect place to relax.

03/03/2026: Excellent value and impeccable cleanliness. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and truly dedicated to service, which really makes a difference during your stay. As the mother of a celiac girl, I particularly appreciate the attention they pay to dietary needs: at Furnasa, everything is perfectly organized and truly feels like a celiac's paradise. They have bread, biscuits, snacks, breadcrumbs, and many other options that are hard to find even in the best restaurants in Turin. Plus, the place is completely dog-friendly, which is a key feature for me. Highly recommended.

The inn offers a variety of services and is happy to invite guides to explain the beauty of Valprato Soano in every season. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. To recharge your batteries after a day in the mountains, a variety of delicious menus await you every day, showcasing the highest-quality local products, as well as special menus prepared especially for the holidays. Finally, and in my opinion the most important part, the staff always welcomes guests with a smile, ready to satisfy every request and answer any questions about the area.

11/04/2026: Whoever told me about it was right: it's the perfect place to sample authentic traditional Piedmontese cuisine. The quality of the food is excellent, the welcome warm and familiar, and the atmosphere reminiscent of a true Piedmontese restaurant. The portions are just right, and the menu and value are adequate. I recommend it to anyone looking for a traditional meal prepared like at home.

06/04/2026: Unfortunately, I didn't fully experience the quality described by other customers. I had a business lunch on Thursday, which consisted of boiled meat. The meat was good, but everything else (sauces and sides) was very adequate. Before the main course, I had a saffron risotto, which I'd say was awful, to say the least... served practically raw and almost cold... and it didn't taste like saffron at all. (I've never had a risotto like this before.) The staff were kind and friendly... unfortunately, in my opinion, that's not enough.

26/02/2026: We occasionally stop here for coffee or lunch when we're in the area. Menu of the day. Great price (12 euros) for a good lunch. Very friendly and helpful staff. One time they even offered us lunch. Better to book.

22/01/2026: Everything was perfect, from the softly lit ambiance and the welcoming elegance of the wood, to the exceptional food. Everything was truly delicious, and I really appreciated the unexpected yet well-executed pairings! Special mention for the exquisite fried artichokes with teriyaki sauce, and their first course, the "Orange Mojito." I'm not celiac, but it was truly a dinner I can't wait to repeat.

07/02/2026: I went for lunch with friends and we all appreciated the table setting. It's a shame that's not the only thing you eat. The quality of the dishes was good, but after eating an absolutely microscopic entree, an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and a dessert, we left the restaurant without a significant amount of money left but still hungry. I find this unacceptable. In our opinion, the portions are excessively small. Therefore... if there's supposed to be a quality-price ratio, it's definitely not there!

11/04/2026: I'll start by telling you about the service right away: VERY KIND, FRIENDLY, SUNNY, FAMILY-FRIENDLY, I liked it a lot, the inn is clean with a rustic charm from when we were kids, obviously it's called OSTERIA and it's not a Michelin star or anything else, which is why simplicity is at home 🏠 the food is good, do you want something out of the ordinary? Well, here it is 😉
