23/10/2025: It's hard to understand why the restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide. For our first course, we ordered the Plin pasta with roast gravy. The gravy was a cross between a broth and a gravy and had a decidedly over-the-top flavor, unsuitable for pasta. The second course, braised cheek, had a tough crust and plenty of fat. All of this was served at a remarkable speed. The table, near the kitchen (without a door), didn't help the evening. At least it was short.

22/10/2025: Madama Piola is a modern trattoria located in the streets of San Salvario, with a contemporary feel and exquisite furnishings. All three of us opted for the menu item, which consists of three savory dishes, dessert, and coffee. The only restriction? Everyone must choose the same dish. Choosing is difficult, not in quantity, but in quality: all the dishes on the menu would make even the most novice palate swoon. We certainly chose very well, with an elaborate yet uncomplicated stuffed onion, plin pasta with a tear-inducing pastry, and venison with mushrooms that would make even those raised on bread and grilled chicken breast love game. Let's not even talk about the desserts; they're simply delicious. Seriously, Madama Piola's offering is clear: traditional dishes, yes, with some reinterpretations, but without falling into the complexities of flavor that sometimes leave something to be desired. In short, a pure distillation of the "Modern Piola" concept. All this, with punctual (but a little slow) service and a fair price, commensurate with the experience.

05/12/2025: Small, family-run pizzeria. Very friendly, Delicious pizza with various doughs and sourdough starters. Very reasonable prices. It was a discovery that truly amazed me. I recommend everyone to try it. I assure you, you won't regret it!

13/12/2025: The location is beautiful, the service excellent, and the food is all very unique, with this blend of Italian-Moroccan flavors... all the right combinations, but only a few that are truly wow-inducing... but in my opinion, the path taken is the right one... honestly, we had a great time and will definitely be back... impeccable service. 22/10/2025: I’m really disappointed with my experience today. I walked for almost 30 minutes to get there, only to be told that they “can’t seat me” and to come back for dinner — even though several tables were empty. I was alone and planning to order just one dish. This was honestly very disappointing and unprofessional. 🙂

16/11/2025: La Baita restaurant-pizzeria offers a wide selection of pizzas and some excellent meat and fish options. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we ordered both pizzas and a meat and vegetable dish, and everything arrived at the same time (which isn't a given when ordering both pizzeria and restaurant dishes from the same table, especially when the dining room was packed). Prices are average, and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. It's a shame about the ambiance, as it's all very retro (not vintage) and the dining room was really crowded (it was Saturday night, but the woman behind me and I had our chairs pushed together, and to communicate, we had to raise our voices to overcome the other diners). The pizzas are Roman-style, so they're very large, thin, and crispy. While it's not my favorite type of pizza, I enjoyed it because I found it light and quite tasty. The homemade desserts, on the other hand, were delicious.

14/08/2025: We discovered Ristorante Ruatta on a beautiful summer day and couldn't have asked for anything better: a meticulously maintained location, outdoor tables on the lawn, shaded by trees, and a pleasant, relaxed yet refined atmosphere. The menu impressed us with its variety and originality: it offers traditional Piedmontese dishes with a creative and thoughtful twist. Among the dishes that surprised us the most were the "old-fashioned" agnolotti: a surprising filling of rice, sausage, and cabbage, flavorful and enveloping. The tomato tower with layered tongue, topped with bagnetto verde and salsa rubra, was also delicious: a perfect balance of freshness and bold flavor. The fish was also a pleasant surprise: wild salmon and red shrimp carpaccio, both excellent quality and beautifully presented. The wine list is extensive and well-curated, with select labels and pairings recommended by the always attentive and knowledgeable staff. The most special moment came with the birthday cake they made: a mille-feuille with custard, cream, and fresh fruit that won everyone over with its lightness, balance, and freshness. A true highlight! Highly recommended for those looking for an elegant yet welcoming restaurant, with surprising dishes and a setting immersed in nature.

11/10/2025: In our opinion, the portions are too small for the price, and the toppings are sparse but still good quality. I personally found the bread dry. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean, and the service is consistent.

10/10/2025: The atmosphere is very nice, and these sandwiches are truly amazing—a truly delightful discovery! Mealbol, Bolognese, hotel tonne, and Amortadella...amazing. I'm not giving a 5/5 for the mini sandwiches served at aperitivo. Despite being well-filled, they're really tiny, and the filling wasn't the best... But that's a matter of taste, especially considering the daily specials!

An intimate, refined, and quiet atmosphere, ideal for romantic dinners or quiet business lunches. It offers traditional Piedmontese cuisine and seafood. Bread, breadsticks, fresh pasta (especially agnolotti), and desserts (their famous gelato) are all homemade. Courteous and discreet service, typical of "old Turin."

14/11/2025: Finally, a well-kept, clean place (not so common these days), with excellent food. It's best to book because it doesn't have many tables and is very popular with locals as well as tourists during high season. I highly recommend it.
