06/09/2025: It's excellent for a business lunch. Huge parking lot. Mrs. Cristina is truly kind and hospitable. Very quick to serve. The portions are just right. The food is good. Recommended.

06/10/2025: Food here was yummy. The service was okay nothing to brag about, it is white truffle season so I was able to add shaved truffles onto our veal tartare and that was delicious. Price point was amazing for a two person dinner with truffles, half a bottle of wine, two drinks and two pastas plus a dessert for only 55€

26/08/2025: I ate lunch here with my grandparents. Excellent food. Fast service, but they initially lost my grandmother's order. However, they apologized and everything was back to normal. The atmosphere is nice, although some tables are directly affected by the air conditioning.

06/10/2025: Lots of delicious choices to satisfy even the most greedy. I only found the price of the loose chocolates a bit high. The service was excellent and very friendly. A nice touch: the manager, wearing a hat, looked more like a tourist than a worker. Perhaps a badge or uniform would help distinguish him better.

03/09/2025: We ate very well, everything was very fresh and carefully prepared, both in the cooking and in the plating. Excellent value for money. You absolutely must try it.

24/08/2025: Dinner that warrants an investigation by the Revenue Agency. Because there's no menu with prices displayed, the restaurant has the cash register in the KITCHEN, and if you pay in cash, you get a pat on the back and no receipt. As for the rest, it's a shame because we ate very well.

11/10/2025: We visited Hosteria dai Musi for lunch as a group of six and overall had a good experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We all ordered both primi piatti and secondi piatti, and while the meal started off excellent, there were a few small issues with the main courses. The primi piatti for everyone were absolutely delicious — beautifully cooked, full of flavor, and perfectly seasoned. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the preparation. Unfortunately, the secondi piatti didn’t quite live up to the same high standard. Two of us ordered the tagliatelle with white truffle butter, with the option to add fresh white truffle on top. Since the dish already included truffle butter, they chose to have it without the additional truffle topping. However, the plates were served with normal butter and no truffle flavor at all, which was disappointing. Another guest ordered the brasato with mashed potatoes but requested it without truffle butter — it then arrived without any mashed potatoes either, which seemed like a simple misunderstanding but still affected the overall experience. Despite these small mix-ups, the food quality in general remains very high, and we know from past visits that Hosteria dai Musi can be absolutely fantastic. The flavors, presentation, and overall vibe of the place still make it worth recommending — especially for anyone who loves authentic, carefully prepared dishes in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Review from last visit: Wonderful restaurant. We had an absolutely amazing lunch at Hostarua dai Musi. The good was just phenomenal. We had a Vitello Tonnato as a starter and it was probably the best I have ever eaten. The tonnato was a bit mousse like and therefore very fluffy. The food in general was outstanding and I can highly recommend trying the Hostaria dai Musi when you’re visiting Alba.

21/09/2025: AVOID. Distressingly slow service: ignored for more than 20 minutes after closing the menus, while the room was half empty. And the oysters? Advertised "by the piece" on the menu, but refused once seated—only on a tray. A "Michelin restaurant" that only has a Michelin star in its label, certainly not in its service.

10/09/2025: The two of us arrived and sat down on the terrace for breakfast. After more than half an hour of waiting, no one came to take our order, even though there was only one other couple (who had already finished breakfast) and the place was completely empty. From our table, we could see the baristas standing behind the counter, chatting casually, paying no attention to the customers. At that point, we got up and left. A terrible experience: we'll never return.

31/07/2025: A well-located, welcoming, and well-maintained establishment with fast and efficient service, courtesy and helpful staff, always accompanied by a smile. Anna, Diego, and their hard-working staff make every visit a pleasant one, ideal for breakfast, an aperitif, or a lunch break in a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere. Excellent quality cuisine with a lunch menu that's always rich in options. The homemade desserts are a must-try...delicious!

07/09/2025: Really beautiful viewpoint on the surroundings. Nice spot for bird migration in autumn or late summer.

26/08/2025: Excellent as a base for beautiful walks of all kinds. Easily accessible by car with ample parking. Taking the chairlift, which I think is a bit pricey given its current condition, takes you to beautiful trails and scenic spots. The signage along the various trails could definitely be improved; it's practically non-existent. To reach the lakes, we relied on the people who drove down and maps, as there were no signs.

07/07/2025: Our group of nine spent a week in this beautiful place, half-board. Thank you for everything to Corrado and Roberta, who welcomed us wonderfully every day. The place is very cozy, the food is original and very good. The house is very well appointed, very well maintained, top!

11/06/2025: Wonderful cuisine with fresh ingredients, artistically presented. The restaurant itself is set on a hillside overlooking the stunning vine-covered valley. The service was impeccable as well. If you need a taxi, just message the restaurant in advance. They are extremely helpful!

12/10/2025: My husband and I dined at this restaurant yesterday, October 11, 2025. Let me start by saying that we don't usually leave negative reviews, as we deeply respect the work of those who work in the restaurant industry. However, we feel it's our duty to inform the owner that last night's dinner was significantly below expectations and not in line with previous reviews. The welcome entrée was bland; given that it was a complimentary dish, it could easily be overlooked. The fondue, considered alone, might have been decent, but the pairing with cardoon seemed forced and lacking in harmony. The addition of truffle, rather than enhancing the dish, added nothing. The tajarin were average for a typical tourist restaurant, with no particular highlights. Unfortunately, we didn't even manage to finish the main course. Added to this is the rather clumsy handling of the truffle: slices about 1 mm thick, cut with a slicer and scattered carelessly, so much so that shavings ended up on the table. We're sincerely sorry to have to write these words, but we left the restaurant with the feeling that someone else was in the kitchen instead of the chef, perhaps in his absence. We hope this feedback can help bring attention to the quality standards, in line with the prestige the restaurant has built over time.

22/09/2025: A friend's recommendation has never been more spot-on!! Piadina with Bra sausage + squacquerone cheese and pistachio cream... delicious, perfectly cooked, and excellent quality ingredients. Don't be fooled by the price; it's very generous. Plus, the lady at the cash register is super friendly. Take advantage of the internal kiosks to order to avoid the line.

30/08/2025: Maybe you should take a step back with the coffee blend; what you're selling isn't even comparable to what you left behind, Illy and the lever-action San Marco. I think those who have been customers for years have certainly noticed this.

Recommended Etna Rosso wine for the meat we ordered... spot on... the cuts of meat... exquisite... and the Chinese-style ravioli with Verduno sausage, not only excellent... but brilliant. It's worth it... the prices are certainly not low, but the quality is worth it.
