02/02/2026: I went there on a Saturday evening during aperitivo time, for a concert with friends. The place was packed, almost difficult to navigate, but very cozy while the guys were playing. The parking lot in front was full (there are houses and other shops nearby), so we parked near the port and were at the entrance in 3 minutes. We had a spritz with Campari and a still white wine by the glass. Both were good. During the evening (I don't know if it was during the concert or regularly...) there were trays on the counter with cold cuts/bread/pizza and focaccia and other typical aperitivo items. I think that's precisely why the price was €8 for both drinks, because otherwise it would have been way too much. A lovely evening and atmosphere. The owners were friendly and very kind.

13/09/2025: We ate here today because we wanted to eat out and everything else was closed. We were very delighted by the service and food, the staff is super kind and the food is delicious! I'd definitely recommend this place and we'll for sure be back if we're in the area again!

15/11/2025: I love this place. I went last night for the second time, and as with the first, I was satisfied. Since there were five of us, I was able to try more dishes. Simple but well-kept place, excellent hospitality, and very friendly staff. The chef, very kind on both occasions, treated my children to sweets. I never leave reviews, but they deserve one, for the passion they put into their work, which shines through in making customers feel at ease. The bill was in line with the quality and dishes ordered.

28/04/2026: Tried on April 26, 2025. Lovely location in the heart of Pontestura. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Excellent salt-cured beef with tuna and hazelnut sauce, and incredible brisée tart with creamed asparagus, agretti, and gorgonzola cream. Delicious homemade agnolotti and wonderful tonnarelli with garlic, oil, chili, dates, and sea urchin. Delicious triple-chocolate flan and fantastic strawberry bavarois with sorbet and pistachio crumble. Decent wine list. Medium-high priced. Recommended.

It's not easy to find a restaurant like this, where every dinner becomes a special moment. The waitresses are very kind, helpful, fast, and always smiling. 15/05/2026: Tried for dinner on May 14, 2026. Location: Restaurant located on one of the main streets in San Salvatore Monferrato, a few minutes' drive from Alessandria. The minimalist entrance is more reminiscent of a B&B than a restaurant (in this case, an "osteria"), and to enter, you must ring the doorbell. Reservations are required (in our case, we booked through The Fork app, receiving a 30% discount). The very spartan interior consists of a single room with limited seating, and on this occasion, we were the only guests, so it was a family-style dinner. Menu: Exclusively "Roman" cuisine, with a few courses (from appetizers to dessert), but not suitable for vegetarians and/or vegans. In any case, at least for the dishes we chose (buffalo mozzarella with prosciutto, carbonara, Roman-style tripe with puntarelle and broccoli rabe, and a homemade dessert with a biscuit base, ricotta, and truly excellent sour cherry jam), everything was delicious and expertly executed. Service: efficient and professional, not intrusive (though I repeat, since we were the only guests that evening, I can't give a definitive review). Bill: in line with this type of venue.

05/04/2026: Easter lunch was all very good, the atmosphere was family-friendly, the food was homely, it felt like family, and your aunt would ask if you'd eaten everything. We'll definitely be back to try more. Recommended.

17/03/2026: We had a very, very good Pizza Diavola for €8.50 + €2 service charge. It was a shame they were out of house wine, so we opted for a very good Barbera d'Asti for €19. A carafe of water was €2.50. Excellent!

30/03/2026: I can only say it was an experience. We had reserved a table. There's only one menu with nine courses. We were able to experience authentic Piedmontese cuisine. Absolutely delicious, with something for everyone. I wouldn't recommend it for vegetarians. The price of €50 might sound a bit high at first, but considering the effort involved, it's justified. Incidentally, 1.5 bottles of wine and coffee were also included in the price.
