20/12/2025: I've been eating here for forty years... Giuseppe's are some of the best pizzas you'll ever eat, and it's no coincidence he's won so many first prizes! Not to mention Mimmo's magnificent fritto misto (and more)... it's like eating at home... "Alfonsino" is always ready for a joke! A restaurant and pizzeria worth going to every week!

14/03/2026: I was here for the first time today, and I've only been in Alessandria recently. I have to say, everything was great: friendly staff, excellent pizza, and a lovely, welcoming place. I highly recommend it. I'll be back to try their other dishes. Congratulations.

02/02/2026: I went there on a Saturday evening during aperitivo time, for a concert with friends. The place was packed, almost difficult to navigate, but very cozy while the guys were playing. The parking lot in front was full (there are houses and other shops nearby), so we parked near the port and were at the entrance in 3 minutes. We had a spritz with Campari and a still white wine by the glass. Both were good. During the evening (I don't know if it was during the concert or regularly...) there were trays on the counter with cold cuts/bread/pizza and focaccia and other typical aperitivo items. I think that's precisely why the price was €8 for both drinks, because otherwise it would have been way too much. A lovely evening and atmosphere. The owners were friendly and very kind.

08/03/2026: Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. I'll start by saying that three pizzas for €45 (without drinks, because they were offered by the birthday boy) is a bit steep, but it would have been almost acceptable if there had been a minimum level of service. Let me explain: we arrive at the restaurant at 8:30 pm, the room is half empty, we wait about half an hour to order, which is understandable... Then we order: a Margherita, a fries and sausage, and a pizza with vegetables (€45). Later, my wife discovers that they can order whole wheat dough, so shortly after, she asks for a different dough, and here the madness begins: the waitress sends me to the pizza chefs, the pizza chefs send me to the waitresses, in short, it's a rite of passage. Apparently it seems possible... It seems... The first pizzas arrive around 9:30 pm, I think it's fair, we have a table of about 15 people, what's not fair is the fact that my daughter's (4 year old) Margherita, the only child at the table and in the dining room, arrives second to last, so around 9:50 pm. In the meantime, a wrong pizza had arrived, chips, raw ham and vegetables... Understanding what had happened, I ask, well, making mistakes is more than fair, "No no, don't worry, we didn't make a mistake, it's coming"... A waiter answers me. After 10 pm I go over and ask again, at the same time my wife, who is diabetic, had her blood sugar at 60, "no no, it's coming, it's coming" In short, this blessed pizza arrived at 10:12 pm. Now whether the pizza is good or not is debatable and subjective, the price is certainly higher than the competition but certainly not a problem. What's not right is that in a place where shopping is the order of the day, there's such a rush, disorganization, and lack of professionalism: plenty of staff, but completely untrained and at times panicked. I counted at least six waiters and two pizza chefs, plus one at the bar and two at the register. I don't think the place even had 60 seats, and even if there were a few more, the ratio still wouldn't hold up. The waiters were really struggling, arriving with pizzas at the table when we still had to order and then nothing more. Plates ended up on the floor, people jumped out of their seats in fright. Women, including two pregnant women and a baby, were never served first. Arguments between colleagues were clear and visible in the dining room... And throughout all this, I repeat, the place was absolutely not full. Finally, as I mentioned before, when it was time to pay, I mentioned what had happened to the lady at the cashier. When she said, "Madam, I have to tell you that we didn't enjoy our stay..." I explained it again. Her response was immediate: "And why did your pizza arrive so late?" I concluded with, "You should explain that to me." I paid what I owed, not a €1 discount, not a free liqueur, not even a word of "sorry." Unfortunately, I found no interest, much less an apology, for what had happened. In fact, it seemed to me that she was quite annoyed, even though I had honestly explained my concerns, and above all, without any disrespect to anyone. I work in this field too, and I know what it means: only those who do nothing never make mistakes, but this is really going too far. Sometimes it takes very little to correct a mistake, but this is stubbornly refusing to admit a misunderstanding, a problem, and repeating mistakes that lead to increasingly less full tables. I HAVE NOT BEEN THERE FOR YEARS AND I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

Like this evening! -Grilled polenta crostini, creamed cod, and green sauce -Pork fillet, sweet and sour Borettane onions, and sautéed fennel -Grilled sea bream fillet on a bed of creamed potatoes and a side of vegetables -Crumble, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate fondant -A nice glass of Timorasso

24/07/2025: I discovered it last year on my way back from vacation, purely by chance. It's inconvenient for me to go there directly, but it's a regular stop every time I pass through Casale or on the highway. The pinsa is top-quality, made with traditional and authentic ingredients. The staff is friendly and attentive. Well done!

01/12/2025: Walking into a chain restaurant usually means keeping expectations low. Obicà did the opposite and showed that a chain can still deliver excellent ingredients and well executed dishes. The BUFALA pizza was spot on with an airy crust and clean, real flavor. The smoked mozzarella DOP ball was outstanding with its soft texture and deep, rich taste that fills your whole palate. Service was the weak link. Slow, scattered and missing a firm managerial presence. Yes, we arrived during a busy hour, but it still affected the experience. Despite that, this place is definitely worth a visit, especially if you appreciate genuinely good mozzarella.
