Marco's agnolotti brought back a taste I hadn't remembered in years: authentic, profound, like the ones of yesteryear.
You can immediately taste the craftsmanship, respect for the ingredients, and a lot of passion behind a dish.
My sincere compliments for your hard work and the quality you bring to the table. I will be back with great pleasure.
22/02/2026: A delightful restaurant in a small, unique setting with wonderful, carefully crafted dishes. Discreet and very efficient service. The best Fassona steak I've ever tasted, along with a superb pork tenderloin and shank. The price is appropriate for the setting and quality.

03/03/2026: Wonderful place, a top-notch lunch, the perfect mix of innovation and tradition. You could see the care and dedication they put into the dishes that arrived at your table.
My only complaint was that, even though two desserts included egg, the ingredient wasn't listed among the allergens.
When we asked whether egg was actually included, we were told yes, but we didn't include it because it's not legally listed as an allergen. It's a shame, however, that the other desserts listed egg among the allergens... a bit inconsistent.
Egg is third on the list of allergens according to European regulations.
Maybe it's a small detail, but for those with allergies, it matters.

15/03/2026: Osteria Il Torchio lived up to its hype - we were a group of 7 Italians and had an amazing time indulging in a hearty lunch on a rainy, chilly Saturday. The place is a short uphill stroll from Dogliani's main square, and it's got loads of charm with its brick walls and wine bottles galore. The food's dead traditional (loved especially the antipasti alla piemontese) service was on point - young, friendly staff, quick and attentive. And bonus points for the spotless toilet!
All in all, a fair 35€ pp for an appetizer, a main, shared dessert, wine and water. Reservation is recommended.

Even though we arrived at 2:00 PM on a Sunday, the owner didn't hesitate to seat us (the restaurant was quite full).
A three-course menu (starter, main course, dessert) for €35.
Simple but well-prepared dishes and generous portions.
We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. A place to remember...

16/03/2026: Excellent experience at this restaurant serving traditional Piedmontese cuisine from the Monferrato region. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the location was modern and pleasant. We booked specifically to try the Piedmontese-style fritto misto, which was completely satisfying, both in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the cooking method. The wine list is good, with a wide selection of wines and producers, allowing you to choose what you like. I will return to try other Piedmontese dishes, which, I am sure,
will not disappoint.

20/03/2026: Colorificio Fumagalli in Vado Ligure on a business trip... had lunch there... 5 stars for the ingredients, service, expertise, wines, and reasonable waiting times. Extremely kind and honest. The food is divine... tradition and local tradition.

07/12/2025: The restaurant is very charming and well-kept, but not very large, so reservations are recommended. The menu offers several gluten-free options. The appetizers are truly delicious, especially the raw meat. The first and second courses with meat were also excellent, all well-prepared and of high quality.
In total, we spent €209 for 5 appetizers, 3 first courses, 1 second course, 4 desserts, water, wine, and 3 coffees. We left very satisfied.
