14/04/2026: The restaurant is immersed in the Langhe, an experience of traditional Piedmontese haute cuisine that I highly recommend to everyone, dishes that are nothing short of exceptional and a wine cellar that will make you linger for a while given the wide choice, finally the owners are qualified and professional and will make you feel at ease in a well-kept, clean room that takes you back to the classic Piedmontese trattorias.

07/03/2026: Ristorante Giovanni is one of those places in Turin that you never forget. You go there for good food, of course, but you return for something more: genuine care, attention to the raw ingredients, and cuisine that has personality without sacrificing restraint. The fried foods are simply extraordinary: light, perfect, never heavy. Mushrooms, artichokes, asparagus: in every season, they find a way to make themselves memorable. For me, they truly are the best. The service is always impeccable, discreet, never intrusive. And the atmosphere has a rare quality: it's quiet, discreet, and welcoming. Not noisy, not garish. A place where you eat well and still enjoy conversation, almost feeling at home. For me, it's become a favorite restaurant. And anyone passing through Turin should try it at least once. Then, they'll easily return.

07/04/2026: Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture, but the main course was beef Fassona with salsa verde. It's been the best beef I've had in Europe for a long time. An absolute highlight; looking back on the last 12 months, it's one of my favorite cuts of meat. I love to travel, but this was a wow experience, even by international standards. The overall presentation of the food was rather rustic and minimalist, but the very high quality needed nothing more.

12/04/2026: We left Turin for Orchiday in Mercenasco, and stayed for lunch. We chose the "Gardenia" restaurant in Caluso by chance, and we decided to give it a try. It was a beautiful, pleasant, and wonderful experience, which transformed a Sunday afternoon into an unforgettable memory. We had lunch in a stunning, beautifully maintained 19th-century residence, with meticulous attention to detail, where everything speaks of the history of the place. The cuisine is divine, I would say; the dishes are very well thought out, the flavors are balanced, and every ingredient in each dish was carefully chosen. We asked the sommelier for advice on the wines, including the passito, which was very helpful and attentive to our tastes. Compliments to all the staff for their helpfulness, kindness, and professionalism. Special thanks go to Laura, who assisted us throughout and who even showed us the restaurant's garden and greenhouses at the end. We will definitely be back, we had a great time, Simona and Claudio, Turin.

15/01/2026: After 6 hours of riding in the cold, we stumbled upon this place to eat and drink something typical... and here is this cute place, where a friendly waitress welcomed us, we ordered a tagliata and a cheek in Barolo, for the wine the owner came over and recommended a wine... excellent advice... a perfect wine with the meat, good good... the meat? Superlative... perhaps the best tagliata I've ever eaten! Even the cheek was top! We discovered that it is a family-run place! From the welcome to the dishes, everything was perfect! I highly recommend it. I would definitely go back! Well done... compliments to the waitress's brother who is in the kitchen and it is he who prepares those delicacies! oh I forgot... the charcuterie board! excellent! In short, everything was perfect.. thanks and well done guys!

The place is very welcoming, and it's exactly what you'd expect if you want a cheerful dinner with good food and wine. The girl who served us was incredibly friendly. Thanks for everything.
