28/07/2024: Restaurant discovered thanks to the fork because it is a little out of the way especially compared to where I live. Excellent welcome and great variety of choice from the menu and cellar. All dishes really good and very well presented. We will be back

08/08/2024: I was several years ago, but I perfectly remember the excellent selection of cheeses and wines, typical Milanese location on the Navigli, impeccable service. Also very suitable for a romantic dinner in my opinion. Absolutely worth going if you like real cheeses.

11/08/2024: I arrived with high expectations, considering the membership of the Michelin guide and the numerous awards, but unfortunately the reality was disappointing. The bread, which was the first taste, was truly mediocre, foreshadowing the rest of the experience. The appetizers were acceptable, but nothing memorable. The meat, although good, was served to us after waiting almost an hour, which was far too long. The side dishes turned out to be terrible, and the dessert also didn't leave a good impression. In summary, despite the quality of the meat, the overall experience does not justify the trip from Milan.

11/08/2024: Excellent dinner with a friend in this hidden restaurant on the outskirts of Milan. The quality of the meat and the selection offered are excellent. Although we had asked for slightly thicker slices to be cut, we were not satisfied and they cut our Fiorentina into slices that were too thin, probably for plating purposes: the risk is that the meat would cool down and that the customer would not leave fully satisfied. The selection of craft beers is too limited, although the only two offered and tasted were good. The desserts and side dishes are excellent. The place is very well looked after and the staff are friendly, however the prices are a little too high, despite the excellent overall quality.

07/06/2024: I went to eat at this restaurant because my daughter, a risotto lover, was craving it. We took the one with ossobuco, the one with taleggio cheese and truffle and the one with crescenza and red onion. All passed with full marks. We will return at the first opportunity.

02/07/2024: I was in this restaurant on June 15, 2023, so my information may not reflect the current situation. If you manage to book with patience and determination, once you arrive you will discover that those who cook here have spent a lot of time composing the dishes and colors and little on tasting them. Starters: Piacenza radish, agave and poppy almond mayonnaise, cucumbers with sesame seeds and nasturtium petals, puffed chips and nori seaweed. In a restaurant that makes vegetables its strength I expect space vegetables, here the cucumber was old and the radish tired from the journey from Piacenza, all the other high-sounding names not memorable in the final flavour. The second course was the most interesting of the dinner. He borrowed the idea of ​​Crippa's salad at Piazza Duomo (Alba). A series of herbs: tarragon, burnet, basil, santorina, chervil, rumex sanguineus, watercress, mint, red sorrel, mallow, rose petals, covered by a vegetable emulsion, the emulsion hid, the herbs sought visibility , at least there was an idea, a bit recycled, but at least it was there. Third course tempura of something, good, not unforgettable. First course: risotto with elderberry, lemon honey and Castelmagno cheese. For most of the dishes it seemed to me that the ingredients were added in a second step so as not to make the dish seem too simple. Here the elderflower added nothing, the risotto well combined, good, but an average risotto. Desserts: confit red turnips, some kind of jam with petals, a husband I don't remember much about, a blue sorbet that was supposed to change color when in contact with a liquid but only turned to watered-down ice. Meringue lady's kisses with even more petals. Service: lacking. We had to wait outside being scolded by the front of the house for arriving early. When I asked for explanations they rolled their eyes as if to imply that they didn't have time to dedicate to prying guests. I felt more like a nuisance than a guest. Son of Instagram and fashion, Altatto is the key example of the Milanese restaurant that sells itself as something it is not.
