15/11/2025: Seafood specialized restaurant in Milan. The location was nice, close to the Brera neighborhood. The staff was kind and the food was great. To be honest I didn’t like that much at that time but as time goes by it is becoming the best restaurant from my trip in Milan.

12/11/2025: My mom, my mom's cousin, and I had no reservation one rainy night at 8pm in Milan on our last night in Italy after a two week trip. We were fully expecting to be turned away judging from the calibre of the restaurant, but the maître d'hôtel welcomed us with a warm smile. We were then submerged in a deep blue glow reminiscent of being deep underwater. We chose seafood because for the two weeks in Piemonte and in Valtellina, we had a fair share of the bounties from the valleys and the mountains. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water to start, and the server poured it into each of our glasses, which was the first time we received such a level of service in whole two weeks! We knew that in Northern Italy, especially in Milan, each dish is a personal serving, but we wanted to try all the flavours so we informed the server that we wished each dish to be shared. Such requests were often shunned at the tables in these two weeks, but here, they were pleasantly accommodating that we were each delivered a warm plate for antipasti and were advised that we should taste the carpaccio of yellowtail at last because the plates were warm. Each dish was crafted to capture the delicate essence and fresh flavours of each ingredients, and were presented with such care that showcased the attention to details by the chef and the kitchen staff alike. The recommendations by the maître d'hôtel was on point, and we were particularly fond of the grilled octopus and smoked pasta! DeRos created a memory for us to remember as we left Italy, with genuine, welcoming, and wonderful staff, delicious and carefully crafted food, and a sanctuary away from the rainy streets of Milan. Thank you again for being excellent in all aspects of the dining experience. We hope to return again soon when we are in Milan.

If you're looking for a quick, authentic, and quality lunch or snack in the heart of Milan, this place on Via Bergamini is the perfect choice. Its location is super strategic: just a few minutes' walk from Piazza del Duomo, ideal for a break from shopping or sightseeing.

12/12/2025: Went here based on online search. It was a hit. Small intimate venue. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious. We had pizza, gnocchi, home appetizer and dessert. Well priced and good value.

18/10/2025: Great little spot to stop and have a beer. A wide selection of beers and good prices. Staff are friendly. Tables outside so you can enjoy some people watching.

13/08/2025: I understand that it's August 13th and that the employees may not feel like working, but a little courtesy would be appreciated given the price of a 33cl glass of beer. When I asked what type of beer it was, I was shown a chalkboard explaining the ingredients. I don't recommend the high prices, and the beer they sell can be found in other places with superior service and courtesy. P.S. When asking for something to eat, 25g packet of crisps for €2.

21/11/2025: We had a wonderful time! They offered us the special, which was braised beef with polenta, and it was magnificent. The meat was so tender and cooked to perfection. Everyone was so kind, we really enjoyed it! We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

14/11/2025: Very welcoming atmosphere, very friendly customers. Delicious pizza and reasonable prices. Very clean environment and TV viewing available.

12/11/2025: I can see the chef is exploring his own flavors, and the food is clearly creative. But I just didn't like it. The strange combinations on the plate weren't a pleasant surprise.

13/10/2025: Very nice restaurant. I enjoyed almost every dish, and the fish was really fresh. I recommend the Catalan-style shrimp, the grilled fish, and especially the fregola! I didn't like the turbot. The service was attentive, and everyone was very friendly and approachable. Despite being a well-known restaurant, it was my first time there, but I'll definitely be back.

19/12/2025: Make a reservation at least 15-10 days in advance for dinner. The interior is a veritable museum. The atmosphere is very casual, and very socialist! Friendly staff. Worth a try.

19/12/2025: Unbeatable value for money in a historic, always welcoming venue.

20/12/2025: DISAPPOINTING: €48 per person: charcuterie and cheese platters with minimal garnishes, a truly minimal slice of beef with 4 or 5 small pieces of potato for €24, and empty industrial-strength bottles for €2 each (a disgrace). We skipped the wine, which was ridiculously expensive. So, there were 10 of us: 6 beers and 4 waters. A joke!

22/10/2025: Dinner included two very tasty classic bruschettas, two truly delicious and generous porcini mushroom and stracciatella risottos, a house tiramisu, water, and a glass of Dolcetto d'Alba, opened in front of us, for €55.00. Compliments go to the young and passionate chef.

16/10/2025: Business lunch, fast service and excellent food. Good selection of dishes, even on the fixed-price menu. The complimentary sorbet was a bonus.

18/11/2025: We found this bar by chance in Perugia (we were coming from Florence) a year ago, and we were delighted to return to enjoy a rich, delicious coffee with a touch of garnish, at a truly fair price. The staff are incredibly friendly, and you feel right at home. Never change!! We'll definitely be back!!
