10/04/2026: The atmosphere is that of an intimate, small, and comfortable tavern. The perfect spot for a quaint alleyway. The service is quick and attentive, thanks to its authenticity. The host and host explain the dishes, which are excellent in their simplicity. Compliments to the chef, who is skilled at preparing and displaying the dishes simply. It was a great evening. Everyone was happy (2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 child). The experience was excellent, and the price was very fair.

I would summarize the restaurant like this: 1) high-end cuisine, with refined and sophisticated dishes that are satisfying to the palate; 2) a relaxed and modern atmosphere, yet intimate and welcoming; 3) attentive and professional staff, never intrusive, and above all, capable of making you feel at ease with their genuine kindness; 4) the wine pairing is also excellent, expertly curated by the sommelier.
08/12/2025: A superb restaurant with excellent cuisine, an exceptional wine list, and attentive staff. Pricey, but worth every penny. The evening was magical; we didn't regret it at all.

16/06/2026: I've known the owners since I lived in Genoa. They even threw me a wonderful farewell reception for my colleagues when I was transferred. They outdid themselves. Last night, confirming this, after more than 10 years, a delicious dinner: grandma's flavors in a very relaxed atmosphere, dishes that express their passion for the art of cooking!!! ABSOLUTE EXCELLENCE.
10/05/2026: A very elegant restaurant on a tiny street near the old port. It's small but welcoming. The owners are extremely friendly and ready to share all the interesting facts and information about the dishes and wines. The cuisine is typically Ligurian, using high-quality ingredients and excellent cooking. We tried the exceptional trofie with pesto, an aromatic yet delicate pesto that went down very well, even though I have a rather fussy stomach.
The Genoese-style stockfish was excellent, and the desserts were excellent. The wine list was good, and the prices were very reasonable considering the quality and level of the restaurant. We had a great time, an excellent restaurant.

26/06/2026: Convenient location. Rude staff, almost as if it were a nuisance to be asked questions. The place was poorly maintained; they say they accept dogs but complain if you bring them. The waiter in the dining room was annoyed and slow, and when we pointed out that he'd only brought one of the five waters we asked for, he exclaimed, "I'm not stealing them, if I don't bring them to you, I won't charge you for them. What do you think?" Never again. The food was definitely pre-cooked and low-quality.

19/05/2026: If you're looking for the tastiest burger in Genoa... You can find it here. Excellent burgers, fair prices. You order at the counter, pay, and leave your name. They'll call you as soon as your burger is ready. The wait is a bit long, but the burgers are made fresh, and the line outside is always long.
There's limited seating inside, but table service is available. You can enjoy your burger in the beautiful Piazza Matteotti just a short distance away.

05/04/2026: The fish was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the pasta was also excellent with great flavor. The tiramisu was one of the best I’ve ever had and a perfect way to end dinner. The waiters were incredibly kind and attentive and made us feel very welcome. A place I would happily come back to.
01/04/2026: Unexpected flavors and unusual pairings: I was invited to a colleague's retirement party and was delighted to discover a restaurant I would call niche. It's not your average fare: delicate flavors and melt-in-the-mouth dishes, top-quality ingredients, and the service is courteous and friendly. I felt pampered and at home, as if I'd always been there. I'll definitely be back, because Karalis is one of a kind.

18/05/2026: I discovered this restaurant thanks to the positive reviews from other users. We are a group of 21 conscripts. I recommend it without a doubt. The dishes are delicious. Everyone agrees.
17/05/2026: It has a homey atmosphere and feels like a local diner.
The wine was reasonably priced and delicious.
We ordered squid ink and seafood risotto. The squid ink risotto was overpriced with hardly any ingredients. The seafood risotto, however, had plenty of seafood and was reasonably priced.
Overall, it has a touristy feel to it.
