One Sunday we decided to try a place that had been highly recommended to us and we discovered a real pearl. Hostaria Ducale is a charming and high-class venue having been created from what was previously an art gallery, the staff who manage the rooms are young, very competent, polite and kind and no less fast. ...the food was truly the surprise of the day. ..ingredients of excellent quality and what about the mastery of chef Daniele Rebosio? The ability to combine tradition and innovation in a fusion of flavors where there is a perfect balance and where the flavors are distinct and perfectly mixed is simply sublime. Without words. Perfect value for money for what it offers in terms of food and wine. Also perfect for business lunches Congratulations to all guys!! Highly recommended!!

Dedication, ingredients and service are on the highest Level. I cannot remember where i have eaten like this. A travel to Genova would be worth only to visit this Restaurant.

It has been 16 months since we have been here and we enjoyed the restaurant even more this time. The wait staff works professionally and cordially. The breads and our dessert were spectacular. The wine list is thoughtful and it gave us a chance to try a new (for us) Rose' , a category that is only beginning to gain some respect in Italy now. As a couple, we ordered a la carte and got to try six creative and interesting dishes. Please take this as constructive criticism; in four of the six dishes we could taste too much salt, not enough to completely ruin the dish, but enough to cause some dismay. I didn't mention it at the time, but most of the dishes would have been outstanding without the added health hazard. Perhaps some of the ingredients already contained the heavy sodium. I sometimes think there might be a smoker in the kitchen when this happens, but this menu is too important to be compromised. We will come back, and we will be interested in their response. We wish them well and are prepared to recommend them to our friends.

Fantastic service, innovative and very tasty food. Should have 2 stars in the Michelin stars. Way better than other Michelin star restaurants in Genova.

Hostaria Ducale is the pleasant surprise in the heart of MIA Genoa that you don't expect. Located in Salita San Matteo close to Piazza De Ferrari and Palazzo Ducale, it was our restaurant for lunch on a Sunday in February. We were intrigued by the fact that the restaurant is listed in the 2024 Michelin guide and the choice proved to be a winning one. The place is pleasantly welcoming, each table has its own privacy and the staff is friendly and ready to satisfy every type of need. We chose a 3-course tasting menu at the chef's discretion which includes an appetizer, a first course and a dessert, all accompanied with a good glass of Vermentino. Our "surprise" menu turned out to be as follows: - chef's entrée consisting of a waffle with anchovy cream and tempura cheese; - grilled salad with anchovy and caper cream and prawn tartare; - potato gnocchi filled with walnut sauce with walnut foam and three types of crunchy seaweed; - beehive of white chocolate and thyme, filled with chestnut honey and peanut cream, accompanied by ice cream and sprinkled with chopped pistachios. We finished with the small pastry consisting of meringue with lemon curd and a pop of chocolate. A pleasant discovery was the pre-dessert with fig and lemon curd forming the writing Genoa to be enjoyed directly without cutlery. The meal ended with a nice glass of cedar water. The home-made bread served with Normandy butter is excellent. A special place in the heart of Genoa ❤️.

Here the School of young emerging Genoese Chefs stands out for its elegance, class and professionalism. We greatly appreciated the food and wine, in particular the originality of the dessert. Well done Daniel. Stefano, Paolo, Livi.

One of the best restaurants in the heart of Genoa. Fantastic gourmet menu. Possibility of tasting and à la carte menus. Very qualified staff is available to explain each dish. They are very keen to underline the origin of their food: I personally tasted the best butter ever, appropriately processed by the chef. I was very struck by the idea of ​​putting a QR code on a particle for tracking used products (in my case, chicken eggs reared in nature). Sincere congratulations! Last but not least the wine cellar: really well stocked.

E' molto tempo che non recensisco locali, ma per l'Hostaria Ducale faccio volentieri un'eccezione per ché è stata una scoperta veramente eccezionale! Il locale è strutturato con pochi coperti per scelta, per poter offrire spazio de intimità tra i tavoli. Arredamento molto curato senza eccessi, inutili orpelli, il risultato è un ambiente molto fine che però mette a proprio agio. Il menù alla carta può essere declinato in tre proposte da 5, 6 e 8 portate scelte a sorpresa dallo chef Daniele Rebosio, con mia moglie abbiamo optato per le 6 portate e la scelta è stata azzeccatissima. dopo una entree offerta dal locale, ci vengono portati focaccia e pane da accostare ad un burro della Normandia con sale. A seguire: Gamberi rosa, piselli, stracciatella e caffè (accostamento che parrebbe azzardato e che invece è perfetto anche per chi, come me, non beve caffè!), Ceci in zimino (con un brodo ci cappone aromatizzato ai porcini da urlo), Riso e pesto, Tagliolino yuzu e prebuggiun (molto carino l'impiattamento che prevede che si debba amalgamare il sugo direttamente nel piatto di portata), Tonno in capponada (tonno scottato in pasta fillo di una bontà unica), pre-dessert sorbetto e per finire il dolce mango, peperoncino e cioccolato, una vera delizia! Fuori menù, ci viene offerto un ulteriore dolce (meringhe, passion fruit caramellati) perché era il nostro anniversario di nozze, una graditissima attenzione al cliente che non è passata inosservata. Riassumendo: lo chef Rebosio, pur essendo molto giovane ha un'esperienza notevole maturata con i grandi cuochi francesi, spagnoli ed italiani e non ha paura di osare proponendo novità a quanto offre la solita ristorazione. anche di fascia elevata. Inutile dire che le materie prime sono di primissimo ordine e che il prezzo è più che adeguato all'offerta proposta e decisamente inferiore ad altri locali più blasonati. Una nota particolare al personale di sala, cordiale, professionale ed attento senza essere mai invadente. Bravo Rebosio, continua così, la strada è quella giusta!

La Locanda degli Adorno

25/03/2024: Small restaurant found by chance. Kind, smiling, pleasant staff, from the waitress to the boss. Excellent dishes, with extra flavors. Restaurant with an original and very atypical decor. Unbeatable value for money. I highly recommend.
10/03/2024: Delightful place. On the walls there are photos of intriguing faces and curious expressions, glimpses of Genoese souls. At the table, very delicate dishes scented with the sea. Served with the trepidation of those who love what they cook. Thank you!
