23/03/2026: While traveling along the Faiallo Pass, I stopped at Trattoria dello Scoiattolo. I couldn't have made a better choice! This small and delightful trattoria is located next to a small church. I waited a few minutes, but it was worth the wait. They offered a daily menu, and although there was a wide selection of first and second courses, I opted for the à la carte menu. The tagliolini with wild boar ragù was abundant and fabulous, the cima alla genovese was excellent, and the apple pie was delicious. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity. After lunch, we relaxed briefly on a bench shaded by trees in the area in front of the little church. .

21/03/2026: Pippi is a sure thing! Ligurian/Piedmontese dishes of the highest quality and attention to detail. You're welcomed into a warm, refined, and family-friendly atmosphere. Gianni and his daughter Arianna are exemplary hosts. The ravioli al "tuccu" are exceptional, in addition to all the other dishes! Highly recommended!!! Thank you so much!!!

18/03/2026: In a modern and welcoming setting, you'll find yourself immersed in haute cuisine. The young staff offers an interesting menu brimming with ideas. The dishes are carefully crafted and showcase the refined use of quality local produce, combined with innovative twists (the tagliatelle stuffed with guinea fowl ragù is exceptional). The desserts round out the experience perfectly. A good wine list complements everything. Definitely worth a visit.

08/03/2026: We stopped at this place by chance. The term "osteria"... is confusing. They serve two excellent appetizers, followed by two main courses that seem modest at first, but are even more excellent than the appetizers, and so are the desserts, so much so that we decided to try a few more dishes the next evening, and the feeling of great satisfaction continues. Exceptional cuisine, professional and friendly waitresses; more than fair prices. We'll definitely return again as soon as the opportunity arises. I would have been more pleased, however, to dine with nice tablecloths; in my opinion, placemats don't do justice to the excellent cuisine. Thank you so much.

09/02/2026: Historic restaurant in Masone. Sunday lunch. Welcoming atmosphere, perhaps a little noisy. Prompt and attentive service. Refined dishes, both meat and seafood. Extensive wine list. We'll be back.

16/01/2026: A well-kept and clean restaurant, with a 15 euro fixed menu (starter, main course, and side dish) with an excellent selection. The fish starter was among the best I've ever had. The waitress was very friendly. We'll be back.

25/10/2025: A pleasant surprise on my return from Liguria. Excellent customer service and great friendliness. Ample parking nearby. Great variety of pizzas and more. A must-visit from now on, especially since I'd love to visit Masone.

04/10/2025: Very thin and crispy pizza, just the way I like it, with a good selection of ingredients. The place isn't huge but very welcoming. They didn't have all the desserts on the menu, but that's no big deal because the house cake (my third choice) was truly excellent. The staff was friendly and polite; we hadn't booked, but they managed to find us a table in about 20 minutes. Great price! They might still have some room for improvement in terms of service, but they're definitely on the right track. We'll definitely be back.
