20/05/2025: Fast, smiling service, great selection of food, try the homemade pasta in 3 sizes with different sauces. I took the octopus salad and it was absolutely delicious. I will come back anytime, thanks a lot. great food, great price.

19/05/2025: The pastificio serves delicious food at an excellent price-quality ratio. There are plenty of counters where you can sit and eat. It offers free Wi-Fi and power outlets to charge your phone, which was essential during the trip. There were a lot of local students eating lunch, which encouraged us even more to choose the restaurant.

01/06/2025: The food is very pretentious and of poor quality apart from being tasteless. Totally unmemorable. Caveat emptor! Study the menu before entering the restaurant to ascertain if the dishes offered are appealing. If uncertain ,do not over order since I over ordered and everything had a similar taste.

22/04/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante dopo aver letto i commenti positivissimi e in effetti non siamo rimasti delusi... menu fisso dall'antipasto al dolce ricco di sapori locali e fatto in casa ... staff gentilissimo ....che ringraziamo ancora... ci hanno mostrato anche il frantoio risalente all' ottocento posizionato in una saletta... raccontandoci un pezzettino di storia... insomma ... andateci e non rimarrete delusi...

20/04/2025: Il Frantoio is a restaurant that left an indelible mark on me! The cuisine is authentic and tasty, with dishes that make you feel like you are at home. The corzetti with almonds were simply delicious, a real treat for the palate! The service was impeccable, thanks above all to Andrea, the waiter, who was very kind and helpful. And a special thanks to the owner, who was able to create a welcoming and familiar atmosphere. The price is more than reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. I recommend it to all lovers of genuine and traditional Ligurian cuisine!

01/06/2025: What can I say? We ate and drank very well at a price I would say more than fair for two first courses, two second courses and two desserts + water and wine. The atmosphere is adorable and intimate, very attentive and careful service, perhaps the only flaw was the heat that was felt in the room. The host is amazing and we happily stopped to chat… and let it not be said that the Genoese do not offer amaro (very good by the way) 😉

31/05/2025: Mixed experience at Osteria Rustichello I recently dined at Osteria Rustichello, a welcoming restaurant located in the heart of Genoa, a few steps from Brignole station.  Strengths: • The crunchy octopus with caramelized Tropea onions was the real star of the evening: perfectly golden on the outside, tender and tasty on the inside, accompanied by sweet onions that beautifully balanced the dish. • The lemon and basil sorbet ended the meal in a fresh and original way, leaving a pleasant memory. • The staff was kind and helpful, helping to create a friendly atmosphere.  Aspects to improve: • The first courses disappointed expectations. The scialatielli with clams, in particular, were excessively greasy and lacked the distinctive flavor of clams. • The waiting times between courses were quite long, making the experience less fluid than hoped. In summary, Osteria Rustichello offers some quality dishes and friendly service, but there is room for improvement, especially in the preparation of first courses and in the management of service times.

24/05/2025: We came by chance, without a reservation. 12 Euro menu, first course, second course, side dish, water and coffee. Very kind and friendly, all strictly Zeneizi, I tasted the best mandilli with pesto of my life, the luganega with salad was truly exquisite, our 🐕 was welcome and pampered. I only give 5 ⭐, but the pesto deserves double. We will definitely be back

30/05/2025: After a superb cooking class at the Oliveto Castle, we proceeded to our next planned stop, the "Grand Hotel Savoia" situated along the Italian Riviera. We recommend this hotel for your stay in the Riviera. We reserved two Executive Triple Rooms. One room includes a private balcony overlooking the Italian Riviera harbor in Genova, while both rooms sport flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi access, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities. Sitting areas, walk-in showers and soaking tubs were among the amenities of our luxurious suites. The Grand Hotel stands as a historical landmark in Genoa, Italy. Dating back 120 years, the Grand Hotel Savoia stands as one of Italy’s oldest hotels, its historical grandeur now restored by means of a comprehensive refurbishment. Since 1897, their Guest Book has chronicled the signatures of eminent figures from the worlds of politics, art, performance, and music in Europe, a quintessential Belle Époque establishment. The hotel is situated in the historic center, 500 feet from the main city bus station and within 2 miles of the Aquarium on the pier, John F. Kennedy Pier, Magazzini del Cotone, and the Fiera di Genova. A refined breakfast buffet was served each morning on the terrace of the upscale Tralalero Trattoria Genovese hotel restaurant. We concluded each day with wine, cocktails, and appetizers in the upscale lobby bar. The customer service we received from the valet, front desk, restaurant and bar staff during our family vacation was outstanding. Our stay at the hotel in this picturesque historic Italian Riviera city was truly remarkable. Bravo! Bellissima!

24/05/2025: Oggi non avevamo voglia di cucinare per cui stamattina abbiamo prenotato un tavolo, due persone più la nostra bimba di 14 mesi. Siamo stati accolti con tutti i comfort che potevamo desiderare, ci hanno serviti molto velocemente chiedendoci cosa portare per prima per far mangiare la bimba. Siamo del posto e sicuramente torneremo. Cibo ottimo, ha gradito anche la bambina. Ottimo rapporti qualità prezzo.

13/04/2025: We stopped here for dinner on the way to Genoa - an absolute insider tip. In addition to the cozy atmosphere and good wine, there was really good food: fresh, homemade pasta, a few but carefully selected dishes and friendly staff made the evening perfect.

08/05/2025: Small ice cream shop located in the historic center of Genoa. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Excellent ice cream with very particular flavors such as pink pepper, rosemary and amaretti, sage and lemon. But the classics are also delicious! Fair prices.
