08/07/2025: Dear Restaurant Team. We would like to apologize for the inconvenience. We had a table for four people with you on June 11, 2025. On that evening, a couple we were with in Italy ordered a fried fish platter, which they then ate and then complained about... because a fried platter that had been over-fried tasted disgusting. We ourselves found this behavior repulsive, which was also very embarrassing. Therefore, we, who were unfortunately there, can only apologize for this rude behavior. In retrospect, we could have at least tipped you enough to cover the cost of the fish platter. (We only had two pizzas ourselves, as we are not fish fans.) For all the other fish lovers... This is a super restaurant. And you can tell by how busy it is. So, once again, we apologize for the behavior of the other couple. Hello team at the restaurant. Well, a coppia with cui eravamo stati in Italy ha ordinato a piatto di fish fritto, which is stato poi consumato e per il quale è stateta presentata una reclamo... perché il piatto fritto aveva a sapore troppo forte. Noi stessi abbiamo trovato this comportamento ripugnante e ci siamo sentiti molto in imbarazzo. Pertanto, noi che purtroppo eravamo presenti, non possiamo che scusarci per questo comportamento scandaloso. When you have the fish, you can always leave a sufficient amount of money to cover the cost of the fish. (Noi abbiamo mangiato solo 2 pizza, but not siamo amanti del pesce). For the rest, we like the fish... Questo is a fantastic restaurant. This is also the quantity that is frequent. Pertanto, ci scusiamo ancora una volta per il comportamento dell'altra coppia.

26/04/2025: Despite the kindness of the dining room staff, the experience in the restaurant of this 5-star hotel was nothing short of shocking. The quality of ingredients and preparation is scandalously low: farmed fish and many pre-cooked and frozen dishes. But the peak was reached when they served us a second course of chicken completely covered in plastic, which we even ate! We found ourselves ingesting plastic, a carcinogenic and harmful substance. The waiter's apologies and the dish not being charged to the bill do not erase the seriousness of such an episode. The absence of an intervention and an apology from the chef directly in the room was a further demonstration of a lack of professionalism in the face of such an unprecedented event. To be absolutely avoided until the chef has changed and everything has been redone from scratch.

25/04/2025: Nonostante la gentilezza del personale di sala, l'esperienza nel ristorante di questo hotel 5 stelle è stata a dir poco scioccante. La qualità degli ingredienti e della preparazione è scandalosamente bassa: solo pesce d'allevamento e molti piatti precotti e congelati. Ma l'apice è stato raggiunto quando ci hanno servito un secondo di pollo completamente ricoperto di plastica, che abbiamo persino mangiato! Ci siamo trovati a ingerire plastica, una sostanza cancerogena e nociva. Le scuse del cameriere e il piatto non addebitato sul conto non cancellano la gravità di un simile episodio. L'assenza di un intervento e di scuse da parte dello chef in persona direttamente in sala è stata un'ulteriore dimostrazione di mancanza di professionalità di fronte a un fatto così inaudito. Sarebbe il caso di fare un reset e ripartire da zero con un nuovo chef.

15/07/2025: Welcoming and clean atmosphere, always smiling and friendly staff. The food is excellent! Like eating at grandma's house! A safe haven! The portions are generous. Excellent value for money! I'll gladly return!!!! Highly recommended 🤩

09/07/2025: Many stars to the beautiful Raffaella. For her kindness and wonderful smile. For the delicious, plentiful dishes and the fair price. I felt compelled to ask her if she was truly Ligurian; such sincere courtesy is rare in these parts... And this is coming from a South Tyrolean who criticizes his fellow countrymen for often being too cold.

04/07/2025: Very tasty, atmospheric and pleasant, service 5+. We had only two evenings in this city, and we decided to give both dinners to this establishment, everything is cooked from the heart, delicious, beautiful. I highly recommend it.

02/07/2025: I often go with my wife to dinner here. The food is plentiful, good quality and also with "tasty" dishes. The desserts are very rich and the price is more than fair, given the location. Just be careful with the dishes off the menu, which are sometimes a little more expensive.

04/07/2025: Small place with few tables, which I appreciate. Carefully prepared, fresh and well presented dishes. Mauro very kind. The evening also took a very pleasant and convivial turn with the adjacent tables. Not having air conditioning I suffered a bit from the heat but the temperatures these days are definitely out of the norm. We will return again if we have the chance.

29/06/2025: Discovered by chance by my sister and a stone's throw from home we had lunch there yesterday. The place is small, beautifully furnished in a nautical style and very clean. The staff and owners are professional but at the same time they make you feel part of their family. Speaking of dishes, the choice is only fish (apart from the pesto lasagna which had a really great smell) and, for those who love it like me, it really makes the difference! Quality and freshness, all served on beautiful plates, I was really impressed!! In particular, praise for the sea bass ravioli made by them... Amazing! Congratulations to everyone!!!

13/06/2025: My favorite seafood restaurant in all of Genoa, delicious, always a confirmation of the freshness of the products and the goodness of the dishes 😍 I also recommend the desserts, including the tiramisu specialty with the typical Genoese focaccia and sacripantina!

30/06/2025: We originally booked a family room at the Hotel Continental. My wife booked here because she liked the decor (fish themed). We were informed when we tried to check in that we were being moved to the Savoia. I asked if we could stay at the Continental and was informed it would have to be approved by a manager, which at the time, after traveling all morning with the family, seemed like a hassle. The room at the Savoy had a pull out bed which was too short for my son and uncomfortable for both my son and daughter to share. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant on the 7th floor and had a bad experience. First off, the head waiter was rude and very short with us because we hadn't made a reservation despite the fact that the restaurant was practically empty. He seated us inside, although there were tables on the patio that were unoccupied for the entire duration of our time there. We really didn't mind sitting inside but if he wanted to, he could have easily moved us to the patio. Then, my wife and I both ordered a glass of local ligurian red wine and when I requested a second glass, the waitress (who seemed genuinely fearful of the head waiter) brought a different, already opened, bottle to our table. She poured me a glass, and from simply smelling it, I could tell the wine was bad. It tastes like vinegar . I told her the wine was bad, and asked for a different glass, preferably the same ligurian wine I had ordered earlier and she simple said no and took the glass away. I was still charged for the glass. One good experience was at the upstairs bar, which is why I have given a 3 star review instead of a 2 star review. The bartender was great and we had a good experience there earlier in the day. Overall, this was not a good experience and I would not return.

18/07/2025: Last Wednesday, we dined at this charming trattoria, located directly across from the Genova Costa train station in Sestri Ponente. It was featured in the latest edition of Alessandro Borghese's Quattro Ristoranti, a special dedicated to the best restaurants with fresh pasta workshops. The location is simple, but with a beautiful summer terrace surrounded by greenery. It offers simple cuisine, but with an excellent selection of ingredients. The wine list is very interesting, with excellent value, including an excellent Grillo Vigne di Mandrianova 2022 from the Alessandro di Camporeale winery in Camporeale (PA), which paired perfectly with the dishes. We first shared the mixed antipasto, including freshly made farinata, sardenaira, brandacujuïn, and marinated anchovies. We then continued, each choosing the tagliatelle verde al ragù bianco (onion, carrot, and meat) as our first course, which was truly excellent. For main courses, we had Ligurian-style rabbit and braised beef in Nizza, served with baked potatoes. Both dishes were delicious! Finally, the desserts, both homemade and incredibly simple, included a panna cotta with rose syrup and a light lemon cake. A glass of water and two coffees rounded out a truly delicious dinner, bringing the bill to €95 for two, which is extremely reasonable considering the quality of the dishes we enjoyed. It goes without saying that this place is highly recommended; we can't wait to return! Bravo!

09/07/2025: Located in a challenging setting, somewhat cramped between the railway and buildings, it nevertheless manages to have a lovely outdoor lawn area and a glimpse of the sea in the distance. The staff is very kind and friendly, and the traditional Ligurian dishes (farinata, stockfish, brandacujun, rabbit, sardenaira, etc.) are carefully prepared. Definitely recommended for enjoying typical Ligurian cuisine in a classic osteria setting. Reservations are recommended, as seating is generally limited.

15/07/2025: We went there for lunch today and ate very well: the Piedmontese steak was fabulous, and they serve local drinks (which is always a plus); the staff was super helpful even though we arrived a little late, and the bathroom was spotless.
