17/03/2025: Homely trattoria with helpful, attentive, helpful and friendly staff. Typical dishes of the Genoese tradition (excellent savory pies, cod and stockfish). They have two sittings: if you want to eat early you have to book. More than fair price. Very crowded and a bit noisy, but we are in a trattoria! Worth a stop and a nice walk in the caruggi.

16/03/2025: Located in the historic center, a significantly redeveloped area, a welcoming open kitchen, clean place, good food and fresh fish! The fried food is excellent, tender and not at all greasy, the service is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it was a wonderful evening I ate very well without feeling weighed down...YES!YES! a place that I recommend...🥰

29/03/2025: The ultimate rude place. There are no signs for the order of the exhibitions, so it's a beggarly place where people guide you one by one. The old lady who yells is so weird. In the garden, there are rocks that you can't kick, but it's an incomprehensible place where they tell you not to kick them. If there were even a caution sign, they'd be careful, but there's nothing like that. There's no entry ban, but when I tried to see the fountain, the old lady just yelled at me to get out. I couldn't understand her because she was angry in Italian. The old lady is the noisiest in the entire museum. This is a place I totally don't recommend. There's no consideration for visitors, and the artwork isn't that great.

17/03/2025: Palazzo Rosso was a real surprise! I didn't expect to be so impressed. As soon as I entered, I felt catapulted back in time, among magnificent frescoes and sumptuous furnishings. It's like visiting a still inhabited noble house, not a cold and impersonal museum. The rooms are each more beautiful than the other, and the collection of paintings is impressive. Even though I am not an art expert, I really appreciated the works of Van Dyck and Veronese. And then, seeing Paganini's violins up close was a unique emotion! A tip: take the time to go up to the panoramic terrace. The view of the city is breathtaking and worth it. In short, if you want to live an unforgettable experience, Palazzo Rosso is a must. You will leave with eyes full of beauty and the feeling of having taken a journey through history.

19/03/2025: Very good focaccia to take away or eat in! The prices are between 10 and 15€, the quality is really there, everything is homemade to order, it's delicious, the welcome is very good and kind to tourists, I highly recommend

08/03/2025: I ate cheese focaccia and it was quite good, fair prices (they may seem high looking at the menu, but they are average considering the quantities). Unfortunately I wasn't won over by the ambience and cleanliness.

07/04/2025: Small but very nice and unique place. The bruschettas are excellent, the menu offers a wide choice, I didn't drink beer or wine. Informal place, basic service, very kind and helpful.

The menu allows a choice between meat and fish. Never eaten such good lean capon!!! Desserts are the right conclusion. You can see that everything is done with dedication. Thank you

23/03/2025: Abbiamo preso bruschetta con pomodori secchi e acciughe , pasta ripiena di carciofi con pomodori e gamberi (molto salata) , polpo alla piastra e seppia coi piselli che sembrava una zuppa di piselli in brodo con pezzi di seppia , totalmente insapore, 1 bottiglia di prosecco da 20 euro che colpevolmente non abbiamo rifiutato in quanto imbevibile tanto che abbiamo.preso 1 calice di montepulciano per pulirci la bocca , totale 91 euro in 2 , la ciliegina è stata notare che le comande e i piatti in uscita passavano da una finestrella posizionata in sala con 2 ante in legno che venivano aperte e chiuse in continuazione dal personale , la cosa sconvolgente è che proprio sotto la finestrella è posizionato.un tavolo su cui viene disposta della focaccia che viene tagliata dal personale e messa a mani nude ( dopo avere toccato menù , piatti, posate , sistemato i capelli ecc ecc) in sacchetti di carta e serviti ai tavoli al posto del pane, a parte questo ogni volta che si apre e chiude la finestrella e passa di tutto in entrata ed in uscita, non vi viene in mente che sulla focaccia può cadere di tutto ? Mai vista una cosa simile. Fortunatamente non torneremo mai più.

09/03/2025: With about fifteen friends we had dinner in this Trattroroa restaurant inside the simple spartan farmhouse serving typical Ligurian cuisine located on the heights of the Genoese district of San Fruttuoso and with indoor tables in the small internal room while during the summer period there are various outdoor tables in the garden with a wonderful view from above over Genoa and the sea. Don't rely on Google Maps to get to this restaurant because due to construction currently underway on the route to get there it forces you to pass through Via dell'Orso, a very narrow one-way dead-end road with a very steep climb and for those with a large car it becomes difficult to turn around on the narrow road. The advice is therefore to take via Donaver from Piazza Solari and then continue along a road that is not narrow and not steep until you park by the church and after about ten minutes on foot you arrive at the restaurant. We all chose a set menu which included: various appetizers: cuculli, chard cake, cured meats, Russian salad First courses: Genoese minestrone and ravioli Second courses: roast, mashed potatoes, veal with tuna sauce and salad. For desserts: cinnamon sorbet, meringue and tiramisu. We liked everything, delicious, delicious and very filling as well as the bread and focaccia. Welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and helpful staff while the service was attentive and very fast and the prices were really good and competitive!! 05/04/2025: Locale che ricordavo ottimo per cene a base di pesce, ma negli anni il locale e peggiorato, qualita discutibile , menu scarso, mi spiace ma non e' più all'altezza. La location dovrebbe essere piu curata, si nota molta sciatteria.
