14/03/2025: An old butcher's shop in Genoa located in the pedestrian centre, all based on meat, for lovers of this genre it is mandatory to give it a try, I found it good, the local meat matured for 20 days was very good 😋 the cured meats and cheeses were good, perhaps the portions need to be increased, however the cured meats and cheeses were also good, a starter of cured meats and cheeses, an amber craft beer and an 800g steak with barricaded grappa 65 euros

09/03/2025: Sono stata in questo locale per una cena in settimana e il locale nonostante tenga pochi coperti era pieno e durante la serata hanno dovuto anche rinunciare a commensali per lo spazio. Ho preso: La tris +uno di Tartare (14) : strepitosa. La tagliata con riduzione di Vino rosso della Valpolcevera e prugne (16): buona . La mezza melanzana cotta al forno gratinata con pecorino km0 e pane (4). Ho assaggiato anche la pancetta di maiale glassata alle albicocche (16) che era eccezionale 😍 ne ho solo assaggiato un pezzetto da un'altra persona, essendo pancetta è ovviamente grassa, ma la sogno ancora adesso dalla bontà! Personalmente non sarei riuscita a mangiarla tutta, ma se tornassi indietro la prenderei e dividerei con un'altra persona insieme ad un altro secondo, perchè davvero troppo buona e val la pena assaggiarla! Come dolce ho optato per una tartelletta con crema pasticcera e frutti di bosco (7): avrei aspettato qualche minuto in più per servirla in quanto era un pò troppo fredda e probabilmente si sarebbe ammorbidita anche la base della tartelletta che ho fatto un pochino fatica a mangiarla. Sicuramente una buona cena e la qualità della carne è ottima e qualità/prezzo ottimi!

30/03/2025: Stasera abbiamo cenato in questo locale mangiando molto meno dei nostri vicini di tavolo e, non si sa come mai, abbiamo speso la stessa cifra. 30 euro loro che hanno preso tutti antipasto misto primo secondo con contorno dolce e liquore e 30 euro noi che abbiamo preso solo un piattino di salumi da dividere in 4, 4 primi, 4 secondi e 2 contorni, un solo dolce 3 caffé e una grappa. Pur facendo notare questo al momento del pagamento non siamo stati degnati di risposta e non ci é stato fatto nessuno scontrino se non a uno di noi che ha pagato con il bancomat. Si mangia bene ma non é corretto comportarsi cosí, questa volta abbiamo deciso di lasciar perdere ma se dovesse ricapitare una situazione simile non finirà come stasera.

26/03/2025: Absolutely YES! Atmosphere of times gone by in a context that recalls the healthy cuisine of the Ligurian hinterland. Dishes prepared and abundantly correct. Simple and friendly service. You feel at home. Childhood memories with my parents and the 600 going to out-of-town trattorias.

21/03/2025: I stopped by for lunch a few days ago, a well-kept trattoria, kind and attentive staff, cheerful atmosphere, I took the fixed menu for €13 (first course, second course, side dish, water or 1/4 wine) excellent first courses and homemade desserts, good portions and fast service. 01/03/2025: A guarantee of quality! I have been to Da Pippi with friends many times and every time it is a confirmation. The cuisine is excellent, with traditional Piedmontese dishes prepared with high quality local ingredients. The real must is the homemade panna cotta with milk from the valley, just like in the past... absolutely worth trying! Furthermore, Gianni always knows how to recommend the perfect wine to accompany dinner. A place where you eat well, you can breathe a familiar atmosphere and you are always happy to stay. Highly recommended!

18/03/2025: Favoloso il terrazzino in cui la sera è possibile gustare una pizza con ingredienti di qualità, impasto friabile e assolutamente digeribile. Buoni anche gli amari, tutti casalinghi. Solo un piccolo suggerimento alla gentilissima proprietaria: non è bello fornire uno scontrino con il solo totale senza il dettaglio delle portate, genera dubbi rispetto al conto finale. In ogni caso noi torneremo.

24/03/2025: In un giorno piovoso mi sono imbattuta in questo localino, accogliente, con dettagli eleganti, anche se un po da rinfrescare (soprattutto l'odore di stantio in bagno che , non provvisto di finestra , porta direttamente in sala). Ho ordinato un minestrone alla genovese, ero l'unica avventrice, ma ci ha messo molto ad arrivare: buono, peccato fosse poco; sul pane del coperto è evidente la volontà di non sprecare dato che ho ricevuto un mini panino su un piattino da caffè.. ma dato che si paga il coperto sarebbe giusto averne un pò di più. Dolce molto buono , una pera cotta al forno molto saporita, un gusto dimenticato dai dolci moderni. Perciò cucina bene, ma ambiente da curare . Prezzi nella media della zona, siamo in centro.

21/03/2025: This place is a hidden gem and I was lucky enough to have found it right on time for opening and be seated right away. Wow! the food was exploding with different, yet comforting, flavors. 10/10 don’t miss this place if you get a chance.

02/03/2025: Today for lunch I had lunch in this restaurant: fantastic experience! Trofie with pesto, fried prawns/calamari/vegetable chips and violet pannacotta and dark chocolate crumble... all delicious!!! Young staff, very kind and friendly, small but really nice place. I will definitely be back!

01/03/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant on a weekday. The staff is all young and very polite. Attentive to customer requests and always smiling. The food is excellent and presented very well. The place is very clean and I really hope to go there in the summer too to enjoy all their delights.

We booked after discovering the place through the adjacent hotel, but once we arrived we found ourselves faced with a surreal scene: only three customers sitting at the tables, two waiters intent on serving wine and no one who deigned to welcome us. We stayed over 10 minutes at the door, completely ignored, until we decided to leave. I find such an attitude in a restaurant absurd. One star is even too many.”

25/02/2025: Pasta al dente, well seasoned. Generous seafood. Tastes like home-cooked food. The fries were dry, crispy and delicious. The medium-rare meat was very juicy. Great service! Great location. Fair price. I recommend it.
