04/04/2025: Ci siamo stati sabato sera per una cena in famiglia ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Piatti gustosi e ben impiattati, belli da vedere e gustare! Consiglio i Mandilli con il pesto: spettacolari! Molto bella la location interna, servizio efficiente e molto cortese. Un particolare ringraziamento a Mattia e Sami che ci hanno consigliato e con molta premura seguiti. Ci ritorneremo di sicuro e lo consiglio vivamente! Monica

03/04/2025: Qualità e cura nei dettagli Dall’accoglienza al dolce, tutto è stato perfetto. Il menù offre piatti ricercati e ben presentati, con un’attenzione particolare agli ingredienti freschi e di stagione. Il personale è gentile e pronto a consigliare il miglior abbinamento di vini. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo!

15/03/2025: I went in November 2024. It's so nice to go when Jeffrey is around. They are friendly and fun, and they keep going around the tables and pay attention to you. The tension is so high that other employees wonder if Jeffrey has lost his temper haha. The food was really delicious too. I had a seafood set, basil pesto pasta, tomato pasta, white wine, and ate a lot of dessert. I enjoyed everything so much. I thought it would be 150,000 won per person, but even though I ate like this, I was surprised to see that the amount per person was only half of what I thought. I highly recommend you go if you go to Genoa.

18/03/2025: The Du Coq restaurant was a real surprise. The venue is perfect for a special evening or a relaxing dinner, with a welcoming and refined atmosphere. The staff is trained, passionate and always ready to advise and satisfy every need. But the real strong point is undoubtedly the food. The oysters were the best I have ever tasted, very fresh and of excellent quality. The crudité, then, was an explosion of flavors, with very fresh fish and perfect combinations. For dessert I had the Tarte Tatin, the best ever!!! I highly recommend Du Coq to anyone who wants to enjoy a high-level gastronomic experience, full of taste and freshness.

07/04/2025: Well, a year ago we went for lunch and we were extremely satisfied, everything was very good. We came back in March and I don't know... has the management changed? Because it's inexplicable. We obviously ordered the focaccia, not even time to bring the order, that the waiter immediately arrived with two dishes already prepared. In my place, since the world began, the focaccia di Recco is baked and served....you don't make it first. Or worse yet, I hope this isn't the case, you don't serve portions that you have left over and give them to the first foreigners (who are not foreigners) hoping to get by. The focaccia was cold, the stracchino all curdled, that one had been there for a while. We all know that the focaccia di Recco IF freshly made, it drips and burns like lava. Then the soup. It may have won awards, but damn you overcook the prawn a while beforehand separately and put it on top without even heating it??? Come on. My doubt is, either they prepare everything in advance and nothing is done on the spot...or they served us cold leftovers from another table. Positive note the service. A very nice and competent boy followed us (I think Matteo). Even the dessert was not bad....but that is prepared in advance and served cold, the evident passion of the Chef, so at least there, it went well. Two stars for Matteo, otherwise 1. Too bad, it was a nice place.

17/02/2025: I ate well and at fair prices, which is rare these days, the only small flaw was the slightly long waiting times, but it was Saturday evening and that's fine

09/02/2025: The pizza was the best I've ever had in my life. The dough was excellent, the mozzarella was especially good, and the toppings were well balanced. It was so good that I wanted to try something else, and I had wild boar pasta which was very good too.

03/03/2025: A trattoria that tries, and succeeds, in using typical Genoese cuisine in a fun and creative way. The mixed fry presents an excellent variety of fried foods, crunchy and not excessively greasy, which go perfectly with the accompanying sour cream. The pesto and clam gnocchi are very good, with an excellent artisanal pesto, slightly less creamy and coarser. The idea of ​​tiramisu is really fun, in which the ladyfingers are replaced by focaccia and the coffee is served directly from the moka to the chocolate funnel above the dessert. The service was very kind and precise, able to make you feel at home. The restaurant, in the heart of Genoa, has a tavern decor, not intrusive but capable of conveying a feeling of "tradition" with colored plates and iron tools hanging from the ceiling.

31/12/2024: When we come to Chiavari with our family (a few times a year) we always choose the Monte Rosa hotel! The hotel has modern, spacious, very clean and comfortable rooms, but the service is “of the past” where the customer feels pampered and even spoiled! The staff never changes and I don’t know who to thank more, they are exceptional, helpful, professional, thoughtful and very kind people! Every time there was an unexpected event (with small children it happens!) they always helped us and solved every problem for us. The breakfast is excellent with a wide choice and everything is cooked on the spot. We had dinner several times and everything was always excellent! In the summer we always used the swimming pool which is a real pearl considering that it is located right in the center!

21/12/2024: I stayed 3 days for a sports competition, the staff was really very kind, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was plentiful and of excellent quality, just a few steps from the centre. I recommend it

15/03/2025: Everything was very good and well looked after, friendly staff. It's just a shame that the salad looks just like the one in a supermarket bag! But the rest is super.

I agree with the other reviews that suggest reviewing the appetizers. Location is still very large and welcoming, even the outdoor spaces are well-kept and welcoming. Prices are a bit high.
