24/03/2024: An evening as a couple with friends at Elliot Osteria in Manzano, province of Udine, proved to be an unforgettable experience from all points of view. Located on the hills full of vineyards, this spacious and welcoming venue extends over two floors, with a predominance of wood that blends with a refined elegance. The attentive staff welcomed us warmly and presented us with a very clear menu card, opening the doors to an unforgettable Friulian gastronomic journey. We started with a tasting of San Daniele Camarin raw ham accompanied by sublime pickles, followed by a toç in braide with well-presented and tasty cheese, and then the herb-crusted musetto on soft polenta and kren, a real delight. For the first courses, the asparagus risotto with dehydrated speck delighted the palate with its delicacy, while the Carnia cjarsons with herbs and smoked Malga ricotta represented an explosion of authentic and delicious flavours. The excellent beef fillet confirmed the high quality of the dishes offered. The desserts gave a final touch of class, with the fresh mandarin and punch ice cream, and the sublime apple rose with honey and cinnamon on a bed of Chantilly cream as well as the spectacular chocolate sphere filled with Torri Fino semifreddo and hot toffee sauce , which ended the evening in a memorable way. Elliot Osteria is a treasure chest on the Manzano hills, where Friulian cuisine is enhanced in every dish. The attentive and kind staff, the welcoming atmosphere and the balanced quality-price ratio make this place an excellent choice. Passed with full marks.

18/03/2024: We went to eat with the whole family at this ranch... what can I say, a very characteristic place, very good food, a variety of meat ranging from grilled fillet to green pepper to ribeye accompanied by excellent side dishes. The only flaw is the price of the aperitif...10 euros for a spritz seems a bit exaggerated to me, even if we were in the city centre!!!

01/04/2024: Review for celiacs (no gluten) I recently discovered this restaurant and I was very enthusiastic about it. You can try Frico in 29 different ways, obviously including the classic one. The one with bacon is very good and I recommend it. Also available as a gluten-free second course and a first course: rice crepes. Buckwheat maltagliati, on the other hand, contain gluten and therefore cannot be ordered. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable about gluten-free. While chatting I discovered that they have a relative with celiac disease.

31/03/2024: We ate at the restaurant and it was very good! Excellent choice and excellent food, abundant and delicious dishes. Beautiful view of the surrounding forest. Quiet and perfect place as a base for walks. Not far from the slopes for skiing in winter.

30/03/2024: Osteria where you can taste local delicacies, cooked with masterly simplicity. Family run, a typical place to meet friends and relatives to pleasantly spend time together. We ate the ravioli and gnocchi as a first course and the cod encore as a second course and we were happy with our choices. Next time I will be able to tell you more.

22/01/2024: I should write 2 or 3 separate reviews, depending on whether I have to review the food, or the venue or the service... the place is nice, even welcoming, the room with the exposed brazier is a plus. the food is really good, and the prices are great. I would have given it a 4.5 / 5. the flaw, very, very serious, and truly unacceptable, is the repeated swearing in a very loud voice by the (I presume) owner and chef, both in the kitchen - where unfortunately the reproaches very well came from to the staff, swearing and outbursts, and (even more serious) swearing while passing through the room (which he must pass through to go to the counter or to the warehouse, having seen him arrive with a still closed sausage). must have had a bad day, but we felt extremely uncomfortable having to eat in the presence of this person, we almost felt like we were annoying, and let's not talk about the two customers who arrived immediately after us, due to the question of a table for two, which room was in which to seat them... we ate very quickly, without fully enjoying the truly excellent food, without wanting to wait a minute longer for coffee, or a dessert... think about it for a moment, the manager or owner, I want to say that the memory that remains with us is this, and if I were to return to Venzone, I certainly wouldn't want to go back

24/03/2024: I discovered this fantastic pizzeria by searching for "pizzerias near Pagnacco", and from the first time I tried the pizza I became a regular customer! Kind, friendly with customers, precise, they always try to do something even if they are very full, punctual, the pizzas are delicious and the environment feels like home. Super recommended!
