The owner is very helpful, friendly, and welcoming! Excellent quality food... it's now a regular stop when I go to Lignano. Highly recommended!

30/10/2025: The restaurant is simply romantic, situated right on one of the many rivers in this marine delta and even accessible by boat. It's perfect for individual diners as well as larger events. The service is smart and attentive. The menu offers a sophisticated yet classic selection. You can expect generous portions, with a focus on fish. The wine selection is excellent. The price-performance ratio is fair and perfectly acceptable for the quality offered. I would definitely recommend making a reservation during peak season. Tip: One thing that could be improved (though it's not directly related to the restaurant) is the numerous potholes on the narrow path, which is bordered on both sides by a water-filled ditch and doesn't allow for any speedy progress! Be careful of oncoming traffic. All in all, well worth a visit! PS: If you like my review, I'd appreciate a thumbs up! 😁👍

09/10/2025: We ate flash cordon and balik ekmek. Wow. Always everything was top notch. Thanks guys! Everything was delicious. Special sardines, original fresh fries, delicious squid takoyaki, wow. Habibi sandwich, Ulysses sandwich. Very special salad of the day with falafel on top or even diced chicken. Smashed beef burger with Val Pesarina cheese from Friuli Venezia Giulia, cheeseburger with bacon by Osvaldo Cormons. Everything was delicious, well done!

16/11/2025: A very elegant restaurant in the center of Udine. We dined on the veranda: wonderful! The canal flows beneath the glass floor, making it very romantic. The owners, Luca and Patrizia, are extremely kind and attentive to every detail. The dinner and wines were excellent. We felt pampered and will be back soon. 16/11/2025: The view from the restaurant is stunning, the dishes are excellent, and the combinations are sophisticated and anything but banal. The service is attentive, fast, and helpful. As someone with a gluten intolerance, I appreciated that allergens were clearly indicated for each dish on the menu. Furthermore, although not indicated, there is also a gluten-free dessert option available upon request. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing lunch while taking in the views of the Collio and savoring excellent dishes at a price commensurate with the quality of the cuisine. I'd also like to point out that this restaurant is suitable for those with celiac disease, as the menu offers a variety of options, especially for main courses, but also for appetizers; choosing the first course is more difficult.

The dishes are carefully crafted, prepared with quality ingredients, and tastefully presented: a perfect blend of tradition and creativity. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, ideal for those seeking a dinner of good food and fine wine. The only room for improvement is the service, which could be more attentive and coordinated to fully reflect the high standards of the cuisine and wine cellar. Overall, a restaurant definitely worth a visit and sure to leave you wanting to return.

Portions are just right, perfect for trying multiple dishes without overdoing it. Fast service and friendly, approachable, and always helpful staff. 18/09/2025: We went to Torate twice during our vacation in Carnia. Once, we ate delicious frico and polenta. The Sacher torte was a bit dry. The second time, we had pizza, and I have to say it was truly delicious. The service was impeccable, the waiters were very kind, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. RECOMMENDED.

19/09/2025: Our favorite neighbourhood pizzeria! Located in Silvella (UD), this modest hole-in-the-wall pizzeria is one of the best pizzerias in Friuli Venezia Giulia! We always order their “GIRO PIZZA” (“Pizza Tour”)— this unique offer allows diners to select different pizza flavors/combinations of their choice from Ambaradan’s Special/Gourmet Pizza Menù. Ambaradan offers the most unique pizza combinations with the freshest ingredients often at 0 km. Reservations are not required but I recommend booking in advance!

07/09/2025: We stopped by on our bike tour. We arrived early and had the chance to hear the chef introduce us to his special pizzas. The expert spoke enthusiastically about his new creations. So, here you'll find both standard and very special, often local, combinations. Very good pizzas, explained with great respect. That was a nice surprise! From the outside, the pizzeria looks more like a takeaway pizzeria. Of course, it's completely different inside. The neighborhood knows this place well, so it's best to arrive early!
