31/08/2025: Albergo Ristorante Pizzeria Dal Asin is located in Majano, opposite the Mother Church of Saints Peter and Paul, a short walk from the town center. It's set back from the road, but for this very reason, it's sheltered from traffic noise. The location is good, allowing you to walk to the town center for an ice cream or coffee. We stayed one night and ate dinner that evening a few months ago. The rooms are a good size, with the bathroom near the entrance. The furnishings are modern and attractive, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our room, despite facing the outdoor terrace equipped with tables, chairs, and umbrellas, wasn't disturbed by the restaurant/pizzeria customers. We took advantage of the pizzeria/restaurant on the ground floor of the building for dinner. The pizza was good, and the prices were good. There's a fabulous indoor area equipped for children's entertainment, an excellent option for families with small children. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property has a large parking lot available to both restaurant and hotel guests. Both the parking lot and the entrance are accessible to both strollers and wheelchairs.

18/11/2025: A very characteristic place located in the alleys of Cavana. Stunning decor, warm and inviting, with a mezzanine dining room. Excellent food, from the exquisite fish soup to the Gran Fritto misto. The Friulian wine (house wine) was delicious. Everything was excellent, absolutely recommended. I found the controversial Pelinkovac with the blue label at Frontiera! Greetings from Brescia

14/09/2025: The best. It surpasses ALL the deli meats in the supermarkets: in fact, you won't find it in the malls. Hams hung on wooden scaffolding like they have been for thousands of years. Go there. Money well spent. They also have other good deli meats, but the prosciutto crudo is beyond.

Sergio and his mother welcomed us warmly, passionately sharing the history and production of their products. The hams were exceptional and the atmosphere was family-friendly. 25/10/2025: We have been dining here for several years, and the food and service have consistently been excellent. That history is the reason I am giving more than one star despite my most recent experience. I am writing to bring to the owner’s attention an issue with your receptionist. Today, after calling twice, the receptionist hung up on me both times mid-conversation without any explanation or follow-up. I have always made reservations in English and have never encountered any issues in the past, so this behavior was unexpected and disappointing. We have recommended your restaurant to family and friends and have been loyal customers for years. However, after this experience, we will no longer be returning. The way a reservation call is handled sets the tone for the entire dining experience, and no guest should be treated this way. I hope this matter is addressed so that future customers do not have the same experience.

18/10/2025: This restaurant is one of the region's absolute top performers. Fresh and raw fish takes center stage, but there are also a selection of delicious alternatives for guests who don't prefer fish. The wine cellar is a true rarity, with wines and champagnes that are hard to find these days – and at fair prices. A visit here is an absolute must if you're in the area.

22/09/2025: We stayed for two nights. The place is very quiet, the rooms are very clean and equipped with everything you need. Compliments for the breakfast, especially the cakes. We also tried the restaurant, which served simple but truly excellent Friulian cuisine. The owner was very friendly and empathetic.

18/09/2025: Great place to stay and visit Trieste, Udine, Cividale, or travel further to Slovenia. Lucca and Paul are great hosts that immeriately make you feel at home. Pauls humor is unforgettable. So is the big pergola in front of the building, the biggest in Italy, Europe or even the world! While having breakfast or dinner under it, you have a wonderful view! This Agriturismo is a unique experience.

28/08/2025: This was our first time in Friuli and we were looking forward to the landscape, the towns, the food, the wine, the mountains, and the sea. While searching for a personally run agriturismo, we came across the friendly reviews of La Faula and felt completely at home there! Luca and Paul have created a very special place, with plenty of space for retreat and peace, as well as for meeting people and sharing their humanity.
