14/06/2025: The food and service are among the best ever. Appetizer with delicious local ham and very good first courses. To return several times to try everything. Homemade tiramisu better than the original.

25/05/2025: Lovely Osteria with delicious food and nice house wine. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff is also English speaking and makes you feel welcome and at ease right away. Parking is available in the area within a few minutes walk.

I chose the tasting menu (€70) which included 3 delicious starters while the main courses, a first course with cacio e pepe and a second course with octopus, did not convey any emotion to me and in my opinion lacked identity. Excellent quality of products. Perhaps too small portions. If I were to return I would not choose the tasting route, not recommended. In addition to the price of the tasting route there is the price of bread and cover charge, in my opinion a bizarre choice. There is no wine tasting route on the menu.

30/05/2025: Service? Chatting with one guest most of the time. Currently, staff are short, food is mediocre and therefore overstocked, the ambiance is a shabby cellar atmosphere, and the acoustics are poor...

13/06/2025: First time I've had lunch in this wonderful place and in the city to have such freshness both in the dishes and in the temperature (30 degrees today, and it was wonderful in the shade with a nice breeze) is very rare. We had as an appetizer: A mixed appetizer that my sister chose and I must say it was light and very tasty! She didn't let me try the sardoni because they were so good that she forgot to give me one 🤣, I had the tuna tartare, served with avocado and croutons, very good, light and not spicy if someone maybe doesn't like them putting spices, it's simple and tasty, don't worry they are nice portions😉. First course: My sister ordered the saffron, turmeric and brandy ravioli, they look really good and make you want to order them. The taste of the saffron does not overpower the prawns or the filling, it is all very balanced. For the second course: My grandfather and I had the grilled calamari with the side dish and I have to say that the calamari I ate were the best, they were not dry at all, they were not rubbery they were simply perfect, they were accompanied with sautéed vegetables among which I recognized, aubergines, carrots, tomatoes and I don't want to be wrong but some green beans and I think some cabbage 😅, together with the vegetables an excellent polenta is served, so if you don't like it please let me know because it is really a waste to leave it on the plate🙏🏻. For dessert we shared the vanilla panna cotta with the salty crumble and strawberries with lemon which were the icing on the cake to complete an excellent lunch! The place presents itself really well, it has been renovated and modernized in an impeccable and unrecognizable way. The staff, both in the dining room and in the kitchen, were very friendly and kind, they took care of everything to offer the best service for customers, I can only say that I will definitely return, Alessandro for example, was our waiter and he paid particular attention to everything we needed and he was also a splendid mule who is very kind and quick to serve you, I highly recommend you try if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed at all, in fact I think they will satisfy you highly as they satisfied us💜. We had a lot of fun and we really had a good time🙏🏻🥰.

02/06/2025: Trattoria grill with excellent cuts. Nice place, without too many frills and well-kept, grill in sight. The quality of the meat is excellent, various choices of both ribs and Florentine steaks. Good choice of appetizers and main courses. Good wine list. Attentive and fast service. Average prices for the quality offered. Recommended.

06/06/2025: really excellent dinner, I recommend tagliatelle with lemon and pink pepper, second trout fillet. Very honest price, friendly and nice hosts. Restful and relaxing place. Great for grabbing fresh trout and grilling at home.

Die Ungastlichkeit sowie völlige Empathielosigkeir des Padrones hat jedoch das Gaumenerlebnis getrübt .Dieser scheint seine begrenzte Freundlichkeit nur Einheimischen gönnen zu wollen. Glücklicherweise konnte die überaus freundliche Kellnerin den Gesamteindruck meliorieren.

24/05/2025: The food was very good, the place had a special atmosphere, the service was polite, but we had difficulty communicating because we don't speak Italian.

27/05/2025: I give three stars for one reason: I came to you to get two grills and three portions of fried potatoes. The meat was really well seasoned and had a very good flavor but unfortunately I have to say that it was quite tough as meat so not of excellent quality. The potatoes were good at first but once cold they become marble or hard! It could honestly be better!

05/05/2025: Having been absent for some time, I tried this place again. Excellent service, excellent dishes (grilled, ribs and grilled chicken). Quality, quantity and price OK. Definitely worth trying again for the first courses and the pizza. See you soon.

10/05/2025: Nice place with ample parking, decent cuisine but the waiting times a little long, on the final bill we had a moment to complain about a drink that was taken into account that we didn't consume, first time we go there but honestly I thought it would be better, sufficient but not according to expectations

05/06/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant last night. I was attracted by the crab dish on the menu, and I must say it did not disappoint: both the raw fish and the crab were fresh and of excellent quality. The baked fish with potatoes was good, but the portion was a little small and the taste was slightly bland. The place is nice and elegant, with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service.

04/06/2025: Our expectations were higher based on the reviews. The waiters are friendly but also trained in 'upselling' trying to sell as much as possible. The risotto wasn't great and the crab was just crab put in a shell. We could be biased as we ate lovely in other restaurants in Trieste.
