Trattoria Turri In Gorizia

When we pass through the area we always go there, workers' menu, or à la carte, always happy!!!

This trattoria was recommended to me by the owner of the B&B where I'm staying, and I have to admit, he was right! The tagliolini with mixed mushrooms and the Ćevapčići dish, accompanied by a glass of Ribolla Gialla, were perfect for this traditional dinner! I thank the ladies for welcoming, guiding, and pampering me during this dinner!

We went for lunch. The staff were friendly. The lubiansha was exceptional; the meat was good, as were the ingredients, cooked very well, and the portion was nice and large. We'll definitely be back.

The food was good, but the service was a big problem. I was having dinner and made a reservation in advance. Two other people and I waited half an hour—I'm not kidding—for a table to be set up and seated. The waiters were very indifferent to customers standing around, as if they were kind enough to tell us to wait a few minutes. I can't say anything about the wait for our food after ordering. All three of us ordered and received it after 4 minutes. Let's just say it's a restaurant; the table stays with us for the whole evening. Don't come for a bite to eat unless you have a lot of time.

I recommend the fried chicken and goulash dumplings. Excellent value, highly recommended.
