07/05/2026: The Si-Si Hotel in Gemona, where I had the pleasure of staying for one night, deserves a special mention. The atmosphere, seemingly small, surprises you upon entering, perhaps revealing the stinginess of the star rating. It's been a while since I've come across a hotel that, despite its simplicity, exudes great functionality and efficiency, both in its service and hospitality. Recommended.
05/05/2026: Perfect for those traveling by car or bicycle between Italy and Austria. The room with a terrace is fantastic. Check-in and check-out are self-service with a QR code. Only breakfast is a bit so-so, with industrial jams, a very sweet juice, and slices of cheese and ham upon request.
Part of the building also serves as a restaurant, bar, and tobacconist.

17/05/2026: We stopped here for dinner. Everything was delicious! Pizza, chicken breast, gnocchi, and penne with tomato sauce. The atmosphere was super cozy and welcoming. The staff was really friendly. And to finish, they offered free limoncello. It was very cheap. Highly recommended! 😊

10/06/2026: It was a recommendation from a winemaker in the Karst region. Very attentive and extremely dedicated service. As advertised, the focus was on fish. The sardoni in saor were excellent, as was the octopus salad. The oven-baked turbot for two was very good (it was a daily special). I would have preferred to fillet it myself, but I could have mentioned that beforehand. Small but excellent wine list from the Karst region. Quite good value for money.

12/04/2026: Yesterday my wife and I stopped for lunch at this restaurant after a hike in Cansiglio. The food, typically mountain-style, is incredibly fresh: a 9.5.
The service is very fast and the staff is friendly and welcoming: a 10. The price is fair: a 9. The atmosphere is showing its age and could use a refresh: a 6. Overall, it's a good restaurant, in keeping with the location. We'll be back!

Trendy, tastefully decorated, and very pleasant.
The staff is friendly and cheerful.
I had the appetizer pictured and the catch of the day, which was amazing.
I'd say it's a great place to stop for an aperitif, a lunch with colleagues, or even a nice dinner.

We chose this seafood restaurant and were thrilled: the dishes were incredibly fresh, prepared with great care, and the authentic flavors were evident from the first bite.
The staff was simply exceptional: friendly, attentive, and always available.
The value for money was also excellent, which is not a given for such a delicious seafood dinner.
Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back!

A small criticism is that the meat is sometimes tough.

The food is good, but too expensive for what you get.
The plating is unique and spectacular, but they've raised the prices compared to years ago, and in my opinion, it no longer reflects the quality/price ratio.
