16/02/2025: Stop on a cold day in Reggio Emilia. Super gorgonzola ravioli, attentive and friendly service. Reasonable prices. And I have to say...very clean bathroom which is now a rarity :)

23/12/2024: Pranzo in famiglia. Ci siamo presentati con due bambini piccoli e capricciosi. Uno dei due ha fatto uno scandalo pretendendo pasta al pesto non presente nel menù . La cameriera è stata così gentile e accondiscendente che si è recata in un locale vicino per procurarsi del pesto... Un vero angelo. Abbiamo preso oltre ai Soaghetti al pesto una tagliatella al sugo per l'altro bimbo, anch'esso fuori menù . Poi gnocco fritto con un abbondante tagliere di salumi e un bis di tortelli di zucca e verdi. Tutto molto buono. Porzioni esagerate e un prezzo molto onesto. Consigliatissimo

15/02/2025: Mi sono recata in questo locale per una cena di coppia. Il ristorante, situato in centro storico, è molto bello e curato nei dettagli. Ad accoglierci il personale di sala era preparato e cordiale. Le note negative sono la non presenza di carta dei vini e le pietanze fredde, a causa del lento servizio. Inoltre uno dei due piatti ordinati era sbagliato, motivo di uno sconto sul totale della cena. Tuttavia, è stata una serata di coppia piacevole, peccato per i piccoli disguidi!

06/10/2024: Cozy place, with a nice stretch under the portico overlooking the square, the boy who I think is the owner, called Ciccio, is very nice, kind and courteous, I ate the pizza and the herbazzone, they are out of this world, crazy. Very fair prices for the excellent quality of the food. If you are in the area, stop by, you won't regret it. Really highly recommended.

05/11/2024: The refuge is located in what is, in my opinion, a wonderful place, the food is reasonably good, the 3 stars are due to the e-bike charging issue, there are signs indicating that it is a charging point but DO NOT rely on the refuge to charge, this summer they didn't give me permission to charge twice in a row, which is a shame because the place is really beautiful but if you plan to go around on an e-bike and need to charge it's better to go to another refuge

24/09/2024: I have had lunch there several times and have always left more than satisfied. Excellent food, helpful and friendly staff, welcoming environment. Everything one expects from a refuge. Well done!!

10/01/2025: Osteria sulle colline in un vecchio borgo...molto bella la location... nonostante siamo vegetariani mangiato primi piatti buonissimi...tutti fatti in casa...gentili e competenti....ottima qualità prezzo.... torneremo presto

02/11/2024: Locale in un piccolo borgo in pietra nel reggiano con un menù tipico delle zone. Offerta senza pretese ma genuina, buona e casalinga. Il personale è molto gradevole. Buonissimi i primi, i cacciagalli e i dolci fatti in casa.

29/08/2024: We took a trio of first courses with rosettes, green tortelli and pasta with hare sauce at a disproportionate cost for the actual quality, not to mention the house wine, both white and red, which were really very poor in quality despite the price, in general the location was beautiful and the service of the young waiters (the owner or in any case the older gentleman in the room dances on the border of rudeness almost seeming as if he has never managed a room and customers) for the rest we spent 40 euros each for 14 of us starters, trio of first courses, 3 sorbets and 4 bitters. Value for money definitely worth reviewing

24/08/2024: Very nice place, but food too expensive. We had a group dinner and spent €43 per person for eating very little. I will never go back there again. They charged us €1 per person for the cake service.

06/04/2025: Delicious and plentiful food, price within everyone's reach... ok! BUT SUPER DISORGANIZED IN THE APERITIF. YOU CAN'T BOOK, YOU CAN'T KEEP TABLES STILL, YOU CAN'T GO THERE AND STAY IN LINE FOR HALF AN HOUR AND THEN LEAVE BECAUSE PEOPLE SIT FOR 3 HOURS AND THE STAFF DOESN'T EVEN LOOK IF THEY EAT OR NOT! I'M SORRY BUT THIS IS A BIG FLA... MAYBE THE ONLY ONE BUT TOO SERIOUS.

12/11/2024: I went in with two of my friends to sit and have a chat. The music was very loud so we decided to go to the second room. The music was still very loud so, after ordering, we asked if they could turn it down in the second room (where there were only us); upon request, the waitress responds in a very arrogant manner by saying that "we cannot make such requests having ordered two waters and a beer", as if turning down the music (in an empty room) were a request that required an incredible financial expense . We go to pay and say we were treated badly and get the same arrogant fucking response. It ruined our evening for nothing, I don't recommend it, customers don't treat each other like that, especially if they make a request in a polite manner not wanting to disturb those who perhaps wanted loud music.

22/03/2025: Disappointing experience at Sali e Tabacchi: a misplaced display of luxury My recent experience at Sali e Tabacchi on the occasion of a birthday party proved to be deeply unsatisfactory. The dinner, defined as such with indulgence, highlighted a culinary quality well below expectations, bordering on mediocrity. The organization of the spaces proved to be lacking, with the diners being arranged too close together, which compromised comfort and conviviality. The management of specific dietary needs, particularly regarding vegetarian options, was characterized by a clear lack of attention and sensitivity. The response given to my friend, who had communicated her preferences in advance, appeared negligent and superficial. The environment, which aspires to an image of elegance and refinement, comes up against a series of inconsistencies: the limited acceptance of payment circuits, the questionable reinterpretation of traditional dishes such as cappellacci carbonara, and the incorrect preparation of cocktails, such as my gin and tonic with gazzosa instead of tonic, are just some examples of incomplete and approximate management. In summary, Sali e Tabacchi presents itself as a poor imitation of a luxury experience, with a selection at the entrance that contrasts sharply with the internal disorganization, the mediocre quality of the food and the sloppy preparation of the drinks. I would strongly advise against it to anyone looking for a top-notch culinary and entertainment experience.

18/03/2025: Extremely unkind and rude bodyguards, we knocked at the entrance to ask for information and despite the kindness and the proclaimed education and the appropriate dress code they chased us away like dogs without any explanation, crazy stuff, never seen anything like this in such a renowned place in Reggio Emilia, not recommended
