16/02/2025: Ritornata a pranzo di domenica dopo qualche anno; ho sempre trovato posti esauriti e così prenotando un mese prima ci sono riuscita.... menù a prezzo fisso;dall antipasto ad l dolce tutto buono...bi di tortelli con la coda🤤e anche 2 dolci.... prezzo €40,00 a testa con caffè e amaro
05/01/2025: Camere super nuove, pulite e ben arredate. Personale gentilissimo. Peccato non aver potuto usufrujre del ristorante a conduzione familiare perchè aperto solo nel weekend. Ci torneremo sicuramente. (All’esterno dotato anche di piscina, per l’estate)

05/11/2024: The cutting boards, complete with "chisolini" (elsewhere called fried gnocchi") are complete and of excellent quality and the wine is good.
Just don't let yourself be influenced by the absence of service (by choice, not by inefficiency), by the lack of at least one paper plate to lean on and by the presentation of the wine which, for those who don't take the whole bottle, is served in very undignified containers (see photo, very humble glass jugs would suffice).
I definitely recommend it to anyone who isn't impressed by these secondary details.
PS: forget about any type of coffee (a machine with capsules/pods would have been enough).
02/11/2024: Sono stata oggi in questo locale, ordinato due taglieri, qualità buona, ma la maleducazione regna sovrana!
Ho chiesto un cestino di pane in più e sembrava avessi chieste dei diamanti, considerando che ho speso 62 euro per due taglieri e due acque.
Finito il pasto chiedo di potere usufruire della toilette e la ragazza mi dice che non ce l'hanno, cosa non vera in quando obbligo per legge avere il bagno in qualsiasi locale pubblico.
Quindi ricapitolando, prodotti buoni, atteggiamento verso la clientela pessimo!

10/03/2025: I had been eyeing this restaurant literally a stone's throw from Piazza Cavalli in Piacenza for years, and I'm happy to have taken the opportunity to try it after a complicated start to the week: in fact, I consider it a real treat in the form of lunch. As soon as I crossed the entrance threshold, I immediately understood that I was dealing with a place that expertly combines tradition and modernity; something that I then also found in the dishes, as well as on the walls. Even the dishes, in fact, are quite artistic and balanced in their presentation. A minimal style in bright colors that is a jewel for the eyes. From the starter to the dessert, everything was flawless. The cured meats were seasoned the way I like them, while the fried gnocco was delicious, and filling despite being made up of smaller pieces than the Piacenza standard. The pasta was as good as in a trattoria, while the dessert was experimental like in a modern pastry shop. I love when restaurants manage to combine the best of the past and present together. I especially congratulate those who took care of the drawings in the various corners of the room. I especially liked the jellyfish on the toilet wall. When I feel like intimacy and a few notes of jazz, I will certainly know where to return!

Cozy and warm place in the historic center (a small flaw is the toilet... it feels like you're entering the kitchen 😁)

Low-cost LIDL-type pre-breaded cutlet and horrible battered vegetables and chips that last 6 hours
Too bad, never again.

21/03/2025: An osteria that makes simplicity and a homely feel its strong points. I admit that at first glance the exterior and the entrance had made me turn up my nose, since they do not appear very inviting, but when I arrived in the innermost room, I had to change my mind. In fact, I have always loved the rustic taste that certain places give to their interiors. At first glance, I was not convinced by the cost of the cold cuts platter with fried gnocco and giardiniera, higher than the Piacenza standard; but seeing the quantity of cold cuts and the goodness of everything, I was able to change my mind. A truly excellent appetizer, with seasoned cold cuts and fried gnocco which, despite being made up of smaller pieces than normal, was enough. The bread included in the cover charge was also delicious. The pasta was perfectly al dente: the tortelli with tail were excellent as per tradition, while I found the crescents with taleggio and pears to be very delicate. At times, perhaps, a little too much, since in some ravioli you could barely taste the seasoning. In any case, the portions were right. The desserts made us end the dinner in style: the house tiramisu literally seemed to be made at home, since my mother has always assembled it in a similar way; the sbrisolona, on the other hand, was perfect with its very light salty aftertaste, an excellent contrast with the mascarpone cream. The prices are normal for the quality of the dishes offered. An extra touch to the pleasantness of the evening was given by the staff, which I immediately noticed was easy-going. I don't know if it's a family business, but that's what I perceived during this experience: so much familiarity, warmth and commitment to their business. I found it extremely sweet to be served also by the little daughter of a woman on the staff, but in general the whole team was impeccable. We left with a smile on our faces and full bellies. I will definitely go back soon because I'm very curious to try the chestnut tagliatelle with braised meat too. I love it when menus combine traditional dishes with one-of-a-kind finds.

26/03/2025: Ho partecipato ad un meeting di lavoro e l accoglienza è stata perfetta. Location spettacolare , ambienti caldi e allestiti con estrema eleganza. La cena è stata molto gradita, materie prime di qualità e pietanze molto buone.

08/10/2024: Two years have passed, many bottles uncorked and many things learned from Andrea. Now I feel at home in the Taverna and I miss it when I can't go back to Piacenza.
I'm no longer the guy who comes by to get famous takeaway labels at a great price, at least not only: I've changed, also thanks to this place.
A point of reference, for young people and not, who want to drink well without worrying about trends. Because if you learn one thing from Andrea it is that only by stripping yourself of the latter can you really evaluate the product, not the label, not the certification; but vine, territory and hand.
For the sake of fairness, I leave what I wrote two years ago:
As far as wines go, it is unquestionably the place with the best value for money in the city. I have taken takeaway bottles for the evening several times and have always been happy. Maybe a little more courtesy wouldn't hurt, but not being a regular customer and not stopping at the "service" I don't expect a smile or a certain type of treatment. Regarding my use of the place, it deserves 5 stars
14/09/2024: Quality and constant research make it a point of reference for lovers of the sector. The cured meats and cheeses are also excellent.
