06/05/2025: Sono parecchi anni che frequento questo locale, per un periodo era calato come qualità dei piatti, ma adesso è tornato a livelli buoni. L'unica pecca è che è diventato un pò troppo caro per la media dei ristoranti che fanno cucina Piacentina a buoni livelli.
06/05/2025: Le trattorie che io preferisco alla grande le definisco " da combattimento", perchè sono semplici, genuine e si mangia splendidamente. Questa osteria merita l'appellativo di super, come accoglienza, servizio e qualità dei piatti proposti.Il personale è efficiente , veloce e decisamente cordiale. Un'esperienza davvero notevole.

Very nice restaurant, welcoming, waiters and excellent service, perfect waiting times, very relaxing outdoor environment. Presence of games for children such as slides and the like, presence of a coin-operated foosball table that entertains if desired very pleasantly, machines for children's games, and a garden that provides pleasant greenery and shade on hot days. Parking available at the facility but on a dirt road, difficult to reach for strollers and wheelchairs (but not impossible), given the influx of customers it would be convenient to expand the parking a little if possible. It is recommended that the facility correct the route via maps which drives drivers crazy)
I recommend it.
14/05/2025: First time for me. I took a mixed focaccia (it should have cooked more but very soft and tasty), well assorted in flavors. I did not feel any digestive discomfort. The mixed meat was tender and well cooked on the grill. Tasty handmade arrosticini, bite-sized and well cooked. Hollowed out French fries, absolutely to try.
Friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommended. It was Tuesday and almost all the tables were full. I recommend booking.

If you are hungry this is the right place, I highly recommend simple margherita or cotto and brie.
Fast enough for on-site deliveries.

10/03/2025: Came for the first time on a Sunday evening, nothing to say about the environment and the initial welcome, which I found very polite and pleasant.
We both had a beer, absolutely honest prices, the food menu seemed broad and valid even though I wasn't able to judge it first hand.
However, the situation becomes a little embarrassing when, a few hours later and with the football match on TV over, the place empties and only my friend and I remain.
The staff rightly started tidying up the empty tables some time before, and we don't mind this, but at 11.15pm the light above us was literally turned off, a clear signal that we had to move away in order to close the place.
Unless there was a sign indicating an alternative closing time, and in which case I apologize for not having seen it, the closing time reported on Google is 1.30am, while on social media such as Instagram it is midnight.
This attitude seemed quite rude to me, to the point that I had to report it.

15/03/2025: Rimangono i migliori tortelli di tutta Piacenza e provincia. È da anni che è così e nulla cambia. Per fortuna.
Buoni gli antipasti, salumi, cipolline in agrodolce, carciofi alla romana, pomodori secchi e funghetti.
Tortelli x tutti e tre, accompagnati da sugo di funghi a parte.
Buonissimi, ben ripieni e morbidi i tortelli. Leggermente acquoso il sugo di funghi.
Torta ricotta e nutella divorata da nostra figlia, tiramisù alle fragole con crumble di sbrisolona piaciuta molto a mio marito e infine sorbetto al limone, troppo dolce per i miei gusti.
Acqua e mezzo litro di vino rosso frizzante della casa per un totale di 65€. Prezzi molto più che onesti.
Vale sempre la visita per i tortelli più pazzeschi del piacentino!

Tutto molto buono, porzioni abbondanti e prezzi onestissimi.

Torta fritta buona con ottimo salume ben stagionato.Gnocchi con scamorza e speck molto buoni e delicati ,porzione abbondante .Tasca di vitello ripiena da lode ,carne tenera e ripieno ben fatto .Sorbetto al limone .Abbiamo pagato per 2 antipasti misti salume ,gorgonzola e torta fritta ,1 primo ,1 secondo ,1 dolce ,mezzo di vino rosso ,una bottiglia di acqua ,1 caffè e un bargnolino ,70 euro .Un pò caro ma il cibo è molto buono .

21/05/2025: I am happy to share my experience, we celebrated the baby's first birthday and I must say that we were all speechless, the location is wonderful!
The food was excellent, the quantity of the aperitif was super abundant and varied. I can't find words other than Thank you to the super kind and helpful staff for anything!
I also want to publicly thank Carlo who with so much professionalism and patience helped us to ensure that everything was perfect!

30/04/2025: April 29, 2025, a memorable date for our family who celebrated Lucrezia's graduation. The added value to the party was undoubtedly having chosen the Vault of the Bishop and having met the Organizer, Carlo Tortora, who with his availability and professionalism led us by the hand from the first moment to manage the entire event in a balanced manner without failing to advise us and best interpret our needs and expectations, not just culinary ones. The location, the choice of dishes, the discreet, composed and attentive presence of the staff made all the guests feel welcomed and calmly placed in a position to enjoy every moment. We chose from a vast possibility of menu combinations, first enjoying the park, impeccably maintained, for the ritual photos and for aperitifs among various combinations of local but also extra-regional specialties and then continued in one of the adjacent vaulted rooms, furnished with round tables and white tablecloths with central flowers, where the atmosphere was extremely elegant. All the guests enjoyed the excellently prepared dishes which punctually and carefully respected the agreements made with an excellent quality/price ratio. For our future celebrations and/or even simply convivial occasions, we now know that the Vault of the Bishop is a certainty of success.
