18/12/2025: This restaurant is insane! I've lived in the Piacenza area for 35 years, and I can finally say I've found my favorite restaurant! It's hard to describe the feeling you get when you walk into Bel Respiro. You immediately feel like you're part of their family. The food is refined and impeccable, centered around a wood-fired oven and grill, using recycled ingredients. I ate breasts for the first time, and they were a surprise. You leave the restaurant with new friends and a second family.

08/06/2025: Ristorante carino e tranquillo nella vicinanze di Monticelli. Cameriera giovane e molto gentile. Cibo di buona fattura (anche i dolci). Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Consigliato!

03/06/2025: Per fortuna Dio ci ha dato Piacenza, ma soprattutto la sua provincia. Un dedalo di paesini sinceri e veri dove mangi la vera tradizione lombardo-emiliana con i sapori unici di un tempo. Grazie a Piacenza e alla Maria! 🏠 LOCALE | una trattoria rustica nel nome e nei luoghi, con un arredamento fermo nel tempo e degli spazi ricchi di chincaglierie stupende. Lo spazio fuori è speciale e sembra di entrare in casa di qualcuno, che bello 🚶‍♂ PERSONALE | la (credo) moglie del titolare è una signora diretta che non vuole perder tempo, non regala sorrisi ma è sempre pronta a consigliare la miglior pietanza di quel giorno 👨‍🍳 CUCINA | non dirò niente se non: andateci. I piatti sono squisiti, fatti a regola d'arte e che si scelga un primo o un secondo si cade in piedi. Ode a chi sta in cucina poiché il livello è altissimo 💶 CONTO | sui prezzi siamo intorno ai 30€ a testa per un pranzo comprensivo di vino, acqua, antipasto, 2 primi e 2 dolci. Introvabile un prezzo così altrove, grazie Maria!

19/02/2026: I should point out that the prices of the cured meats, or even the possible samples, weren't displayed in the shop. It was therefore truly sad to discover on the receipt as soon as we left that there was a charge for these unsolicited samples that the owner kept forcing us to order, without any indication from us, so much so that we were truly disgusted. If a sample of salami had been honest, we would have gladly paid for it if only he had been fair to us. Instead, we still paid (with almost €100 spent) for a nauseating "salami salad" of samples without realizing it until we were outside the shop 🫤🫤🫤 The owner was very, very dishonest, and we were very, very disappointed 🙁

21/10/2025: We chose to celebrate our anniversary here; it was both our first time there, and we had a truly wonderful time. We chose the tasting menu, and everything was truly delicious. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere was intimate and peaceful. We extend our heartfelt compliments once again to the chefs and all the staff. We will definitely be back to celebrate our special occasions 🥰

29/10/2025: We went to Nando's for dinner, but there was no menu available! It was just words. I highly recommend asking in advance to avoid any unpleasant surprises when the bill comes, which, I dare say, wasn't very appropriate for what we ate... especially for an osteria.

24/11/2025: Hi, I've been a customer of the ice cream maker for almost 3 years, unfortunately the prices go up every year and the quality goes down every year. A while ago I had a chocolate cake, I expected a real chocolate cake, so not the one they usually have. Then they didn't tell me that putting a name on it would cost me more, so I didn't say anything since it was an order already made. Then in the summer I was curious to try their granita, which wasn't really granita, it was crushed ice with colorant, since I'm used to eating real Sicilian granita. Unfortunately, my partner and I, because he also used to order things from there, will not go there again given the high prices and the low quality that left us disgusted.

01/09/2025: A very friendly welcome and attentive service. The seafood trofie was fantastic, and the pizza diavola was simply fantastic! The salad was fresh and aromatic, accompanied by a fine olive oil. I wish I had a restaurant like this at home.

26/01/2026: A terrible experience. I was there recently with some friends, and to say we had a bad time would be an understatement. They gave us a table that was wobbly, and in addition to the waiters having no idea what's on the menu, after waiting almost an hour, we discovered they'd even written down our order incorrectly. The waiter came back, asking what we'd actually ordered, and left before we could tell him everything. After about another 20 minutes, the blessed sandwiches arrived (they probably went looking for the ingredients in the Amazon rainforest, otherwise the wait wouldn't explain it), and to say they were a joke would be an understatement. The Wild BBQ Burger with so-called "double" bacon had a piece of bacon cut in half inside. When it came time to pay, they charged us for a platter of fried dumplings that didn't arrive, and we had to ask them to take it away. First and last time.

08/03/2026: Highly recommended... exquisite first courses, excellent meat, delicious homemade desserts enhanced by the chef's own fruit compotes. Impeccable kindness and hospitality.

17/02/2026: A trattoria for work and more. Friendly and attentive staff. Good quality dishes, good price: €18 per person, plus €1.20 dessert, coffee, water, and wine. Recommended.

22/02/2026: A homey trattoria in a small hamlet surrounded by fields, where you can enjoy excellent traditional Piacenza dishes. Fresh and delicious cured meats, Gorgonzola 🔝, roasted quail, and duck. The staff and owner are very friendly.

31/10/2025: Without a doubt, one of the most welcoming places I've ever encountered. It's a family-friendly atmosphere, with kindness and courtesy, and meticulous attention to detail. The food is exquisite; you can tell Giovanni puts his heart and soul into every dish he prepares. I recommend it for any occasion. Well done! Keep up the good work! 🙂
