01/04/2026: I was at this bar last night, and I can honestly say that after about three years of living in Piacenza, I had the most delicious aperitivo and cocktails here. The staff were very warm, friendly, and polite, and I highly recommend this place to everyone.

17/12/2025: First time, definitely worth repeating, even though it was a business lunch. The variety of dishes on offer was excellent, the food excellent, and the staff friendly.

04/11/2025: The location is well-maintained and clean. The organization, courtesy, politeness, and friendliness need to be revisited. The price is a bit high for a business, but that's acceptable. Note, in particular, the rather grumpy older gentleman. If you have these attitudes, you'll end up paying 4.48. Obviously, take this negative review of mine as an opportunity to improve the place. 21/10/2025: We chose to celebrate our anniversary here; it was both our first time there, and we had a truly wonderful time. We chose the tasting menu, and everything was truly delicious. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere was intimate and peaceful. We extend our heartfelt compliments once again to the chefs and all the staff. We will definitely be back to celebrate our special occasions 🥰

27/04/2026: After six years, I've returned to Osvaldo's, and I must say my opinion has improved compared to the past. The pizza remains average, especially when eaten while still hot. The dough is thin, which isn't my cup of tea, but I understand it's in line with Piacenza's tastes, so it makes sense that it hasn't changed much over the years. The real difference compared to my previous experience is the toppings, which I found much more successful and capable of enhancing the overall flavor of the pizza. I tried the Piacentina DOP for the first time, which I highly recommend. The tiramisu was also very good, with a homemade flavor, as it should be. Regarding the service: the youngest member of the staff was extremely kind, and his presence made the evening more enjoyable. My colleagues, on the other hand, could perhaps be a little more cheerful—they seemed a bit dull—but overall, they were still helpful. I really appreciated the fact that they let us stay past closing time without making us feel bad. Ultimately, Osvaldo remains a good choice for a dinner in the city center, just steps from Piazza Cavalli, perhaps paired with an evening stroll when temperatures permit. An experience that has certainly improved compared to the past.

26/04/2026: Tavern to avoid, Thursday afternoon I called to book dinner for 7pm, at 7pm my wife and I went, having seen the doors open we went in and said hello, terrible scene we saw 4 or 5 girls sitting and eating, they didn't deign to greet us, only surprised looks, to say but who are these people and what do they want, after a long silence a guy gets up saying open to me in 5 minutes, oh my, scenes that should not be seen in a restaurant, zero education, for goodness sake there are many taverns that eat well, and they are polite, forget it, look for something else..,,

22/03/2026: I can only comment on the restaurant where I had lunch while passing through Fiorenzuola. I found good first courses in a modern and rather elegant setting, with informal service. The price was in line with the quality of the menu.

10/05/2026: The restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious and the people who serve the tables are very good. There are also outdoor tables and when the weather is nice they are ideal.

14/04/2026: The restaurant is well located in the city center and quite attractive. The food isn't exceptional. The portions are small and the prices are high. The service is adequate, but nothing special. The restaurant charges 3 euros per person for the cover charge, including for young children.

11/05/2026: The items are high quality, prices are high as well, sometimes with a good reason sometimes not really. I have to highlight that the place is NOT inviting at all to buy and has a very bad atmosphere. It’s extremely hot inside, there’s silence of a dead library, the workers of the restaurants are apatic and get sassy when asked for a fork, and almost two hours before closing they decided that the oven is done working for today to heat a pizza. If the luxury gourmet chain Eataly has enough audacity to charge a small piece of pizzetta margherita per 4.5€, it should be able to turn on an oven and heat it as well. There are many other good Italian delicacies that have just as good if not better items for better prices, food and service. Sadly, the expensive pizzas there were also dull and tasteless. Look at the pictures; it’s extremely apparent that a minimal effort was put , but of course the high price remained the same. I highly do not recommend

04/06/2026: I went with my family and we had a wonderful experience. We celebrated my sister's birthday and they kindly gave us a complimentary panna cotta, a gesture we greatly appreciated. The food was also spectacular; every dish was delicious. It's definitely a place I highly recommend.

29/04/2026: Unfortunately, I have to say, unfortunately... I'm sorry to write this review because the food at Mamma's is always good, especially the fish... I've always recommended it, even recently, to people who work and were looking for a place to have a good lunch. But this time I'm sorry to have to give a negative review, not so much for the food, because that could have been my taste... I had lunch today at Mamma's with the "Workers of the Sea" menu. For the main course, there were baby octopus, which I thought had a strange, too strong flavor, leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I called the waitress, told her, and she took my plate away. She asked if I wanted anything else, but I didn't want anything... but what I'm sorry about is that when it came to the bill, I paid for the full menu without any mention or regret, or even a word about the fact that I had sent a dish back without touching it... To be fair, I expected the owner to say something to me, but instead, no full bill, not even a word... I'm very sorry, but that's not how you keep customers.

03/05/2026: Bad experience. I ate a burger and drank a beer, nothing special. The problem was the tiramisu: I started feeling sick while I was in the restaurant, with a severe headache, and after leaving I even vomited. The discomfort only passed the next day. I recommend better monitoring the quality and storage of desserts.

02/05/2026: I tried this place because I was intrigued by the many social media ads. Since they're pushing the chicken specialty, I wanted to try it, and honestly, I was disappointed. It was small, more bone than meat, and even a bit dry. I had different expectations (the classic rotisserie chicken, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, but that wasn't the product). The potatoes, however, were decent. The atmosphere was casual, the service a bit sketchy. There was an excessive wait to order and then pay, considering the place wasn't even full.
