03/07/2025: Gave it a second chance and unfortunately never again,it is impossible to get served, 2 weeks ago called in we were escorted to the table but no communication if you would like a drink it took 20 minutes by that time we were just about to leave when eventually we gave our order for food and drinks, so we gave it another go over the weekend, same experience only us 2 to serve and still sat there waiting, another couple walks in and unbelievably served within a couple of minutes, so that was as good an indication to leave and never go back.we consider ourselves and family as locals but never experienced this sort of hospitality in bettola or Italy, fortunately you have other good options to eat.

25/04/2025: The food was good, but they took a little too long to serve!

05/10/2025: Good at marketing, but terrible with customers. I've made several purchases from them, and the last time, one of the steaks smelled rotten. I fully understand that something can go wrong every now and then, but what I don't understand, and above all, accept, is the INNOCENTNESS. Too bad for you, you've lost a good customer who would have continued to buy from them over time, and I imagine others will read and see this review.

23/09/2025: They keep sending me emails even though I've unsubscribed over three times. I used to buy wagyu and dry-aged beef, but it's not worth it! Once frozen, meat doesn't retain the same organoleptic qualities. Freezing oxidizes the fat, and the flavor isn't the same. It's better to buy locally sourced meat.

10/10/2025: Friendly place, very friendly and very competent staff, excellent food and very proportionate portions, excellent value for money!

09/10/2025: Strong musty smell and "bizarre" hygiene conditions. The employee made me coffee while sticking his hands in his mouth the entire time, biting his nails. He then gave me breakfast with the same hands, without washing them. The bioches seem to be from a while ago. I also don't recommend the communication style; they make you a coffee and it seems like they're doing you a favor.

16/10/2025: What can I say? I think a restaurant where they don't answer the phone or even WhatsApp isn't even worth considering... They open on Thursday evenings, but if you can't speak to them, how can you even try? I'd say there are plenty of nice places in the province... It's fine!

07/10/2025: A truly enchanting hilltop restaurant...a meticulously maintained venue that transports you to another dimension when you sit down to enjoy a meal, thanks not only to the breathtaking view, but also to the delicious food served and the excellent service and courtesy of everyone who works there...my heartfelt compliments!

16/08/2025: I spent a few days at the hotel in Cerignale. The location is easy to find, but the hotel is practically invisible because there's no sign. The room was good, but too small and lacked both a hairdryer and an electrical outlet. The shower was also tiny, and a piece of the toilet flush was falling off. The food was good, especially the panna cotta, but the rest was nothing special. The service was decent, and the staff was friendly, but nothing exceptional. The main problem is the price: definitely too expensive for what you get.

19/09/2025: Excellent osteria, attentive, welcoming, and dedicated service; the food was excellent, plentiful, and well-prepared, as were the desserts. A historic place, as is clearly evident from its decor and atmosphere. Definitely recommended!

22/10/2025: Osteria Antica Romea Interesting wine list, homemade first courses, and a quick fixed-price menu. It's a shame we couldn't find a table inside... 7 out of 10 tables in the (closed) outdoor area are smoking, which is a shame. So let's try the pisarei e faso.

13/08/2025: Good morning everyone, I usually post lots of photos and videos to complete my reviews, but this time I was too disappointed...no photos. On August 12, 2025, we happened to be in Piacenza, stiflingly hot, and many restaurants closed. Finally, this place was open, and we entered with confidence. The atmosphere was like a company cafeteria, crowded, but the manager (perhaps the owner) welcomed us right away without making us wait: kind, welcoming. My husband asked for stuffed zucchini (two arrived—and this was a second course), lightly stuffed, very salty. Then, again for my husband, a plate of prosciutto with two slices of melon arrived, more about finding it on the plate than actually eating it. I had ordered roast guinea fowl with spinach (ok). The guinea fowl was half a breast and one wing, so dry I had a hard time eating it. Since we were hungry and had no other options, we stayed until the end, but it had been a terrible experience. Dessert isn't important, limited choice and poor quality. Good coffee. Total cost €30...but I understand why. We won't be returning, a day to forget, we definitely went to the wrong place.

27/09/2025: Rustic, very relaxing place, with outdoor tables and a view. Excellent food and good service. I'll be back as soon as I can.

20/06/2025: Genuine food, very fresh drinkable wine, homely and comfortable environment, the owner very kind and helpful. I recommend it for a trip out of town, you can walk in nature or cool off in the Nure, on summer days.

20/09/2025: We stumbled upon this trattoria by chance. It was delicious and highly recommended. If you have the chance, stop by! You'll eat typical Piacenza dishes, all cooked by the lady who is incredibly sweet. The staff is polite and pleasant! Excellent! P.S. We recommend the ricotta and spinach tortelli, delicious!

30/09/2025: Terrible experience! The quality/price ratio was nonexistent... precooked and overcooked pasta, very limited quantities, and questionable service. We booked with The Fork for a 20% discount, and since there was a €14.90 menu, we chose one of three. When we asked if we could choose the menu, despite the discount, we were told yes. In reality, they split the cost of the individual menu items at €14.90, and we paid the full price for each course, then discounted it by 20%. So, the €14.90 became about €30, then discounted by 20%, which was dishonest to say the least. Then they made me pay a cover charge for my son, who didn't eat!!! I'm very disappointed, and I won't be going back...

29/09/2025: A nice, spacious place to enjoy a pizza and other food in a relaxed atmosphere. Recommended. It's just a shame it's currently only open for lunch.

17/09/2025: Salami pizza with fries, takeout Two pizzas, €21.50, questionable One of which was without salami, just a slice like in the photo Not to mention the size...unfortunately, it's not worth it, but it's similar, not a regular pizza Deeply disappointed, it's getting worse Usually they say half an hour and arrive after an hour and a half, at least today they arrived on time, but that's not quite right. Too bad I can't attach the photo.

28/08/2025: Pizza delivery arrived incorrectly and completely burned. They were black!! Inedible. A truly negative experience, never again. I recommend checking the pizzas upon delivery to avoid unpleasant surprises.

03/08/2025: Beautiful view from the terrace of the Trebbia Valley, nice and quiet place, very good food, excellent ricotta and spinach tortelli. 👍😊
