30/12/2025: I would recommend updating the website. I should point out that the day we dined at this restaurant was a Monday, and around here, almost all restaurants are closed on Mondays, but ours was a special occasion, and our search led us to Croce Bianca. The restaurant is very beautiful, rustic, with elegant touches blended into an atmosphere that makes it very welcoming and evocative. I consider the special nature of the day, but I find a cold environment completely unwelcoming. We were welcomed and confined to a small room with other guests, heated by a small heat pump and an electric heater. Fortunately, it had a door that kept the heat inside, but it certainly wasn't much help for those arriving with dishes from the kitchen. As I mentioned at the beginning, it would be best to update the website, as we had intended to try some pizzas, which we didn't find. Instead, we were told they hadn't made them for about two years, obviously to everyone's surprise. Despite all this, we decided to stay, obviously looking for alternatives in the 0 zone😱, and repeating myself... considering Monday is a very special day, we decided to order à la carte. Even though we had called ahead when booking, unfortunately, the "gluten-free" option was limited to just one dish: tortellini. This seemed a bit rude and insensitive to those who were forced to do so, but unfortunately, they weren't the only ones today. Other dishes were also unavailable, but I assume for the same reason as the day before. The food was overall good but not special, and the portions were just right. The service, I would say, was attentive but very discreet; they nevertheless tried to make us feel comfortable and accommodated our every need.

14/11/2025: Excellent experience, delicious food, attention to detail, welcoming, clean, and refined atmosphere. Definitely worth a try.

08/02/2026: A casual atmosphere that can accommodate a large number of people. However, outdoor parking is very limited and located along the edges of a busy road, where cars pass at high speeds. Service is quick, and the pizzas are decent, with very thin and crispy crusts. However, the prices are excessive (a pizza averages around €11-12, with peaks of €18). The noise level in the dining room is quite high.

16/02/2026: The atmosphere is beautiful, it feels like being inside a castle, the food is good, the owner is a bit cold in her manner, not welcoming, the price is definitely too high, €65 for two for a first course and a glass of wine, the cover charge of €7 (for two) is unheard of... only in Italy does it exist... I don't think I would go back.

09/10/2025: Strong musty smell and "bizarre" hygiene conditions. The employee made me coffee while sticking his hands in his mouth the entire time, biting his nails. He then gave me breakfast with the same hands, without washing them. The bioches seem to be from a while ago. I also don't recommend the communication style; they make you a coffee and it seems like they're doing you a favor.

05/11/2025: A welcoming place, with beautiful, super-modern decor that's reminiscent of old-fashioned shops. Lots of sweet and savory products to choose from. The products are good.

03/11/2025: The food is good, but I don't think the staff are good enough at customer relations, a smile and politeness can really solve everything.

16/06/2025: Agriturismo in una piacevole zona collinare circondato dal verde. Siamo stati in settimana e quindi trovato un ambiente particolarmente tranquillo, accomodati in una bella saletta con pareti in sasso. Il menù proposto offriva piatti della cucina piacentina, ben preparati e con dosi generose. Una degna conclusione con un semifreddo servito con cioccolato caldo ed inoltre una profusione di pasticcini e monoporzioni per tutti i gusti.

11/06/2025: L’eccellenza esiste e grazie ad un mio collega Cristiano, che oltre ad esser un grande amico e collaboratore, è anche un intenditore di buon cibo, buon vino, e cultore di ristoranti belli, mi ha fatto conoscere l’esistenza di questo agriturismo, che oltre ad essere in una bella posizione collinare, ha la piacevole capacità di servirti delle portate ottime ed abbondanti, di prima qualità con specialità della cucina tipica piacentina. Senza parlare del vino, che in queste zone fa il padrone. Dagli antipasti ai primi ai secondi, ed ai dolci, tutto rigorosamente fatto in casa, non si può che essere felici per aver mangiato in un posto così bello. Esiste anche la possibilità di dormire in camere molto belle, con la pace di un paesaggio circostante che ti lascia incantato.

24/02/2026: The pizza is really good! We usually get a white pizza on the menu that comes with onions, spinach, and ricotta. We add cherry tomatoes. It’s so good! We used to get the pugliese also a lot which is great too. My only critique is sometimes the dough can be a little tough and others its soft. Not sure why the variance if it’s do to with the hydration of the dough or how fast it’s used but most times the dough is perfect. We order this place at least once or twice a month. The cream puffs are good also.

06/02/2026: I'm sorry, but the tomato-based "sausage" pizza is disgusting, rubbery, and tasteless. Definitely awful. Don't bother with the pizza if you really want to dine here. I spent the whole night with heartburn and extremely slow digestion, a sign of the poor quality of the dough and ingredients used.

11/03/2026: Excellent first and second courses! The appetizers are also superb. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. The veranda with its fireplace is truly welcoming.

09/03/2026: I would have given the dearest Armando 5 stars without a doubt: the welcome was like family, like in times gone by. He, his wife, and his daughter welcomed us and treated us with every consideration, even though we were the only customers. During lunch, Armando sat at the next table and told us all about the family's history. He explained his cured meats (excellent) and his freshly made tortelli d'erba (excellent). His daughter went out onto the balcony to pick sage. The portions were generous and excellent. The friendliness was like being at home. Everything was perfect. Then came the bill and the venal sin: for two appetizers (we'd actually only asked for one, but that's how it is), a plate of tortelli verdi, a water, an Ortugo, two coffees (again, we'd only asked for one, but that's how it is), 60 euros... a bit too expensive, Armando... you smelled our goodness and you've fleeced us a bit. What a shame. The poetry has vanished.

01/08/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo posto per caso, ed è stata una bellissima scoperta, abbiamo mangiato benissimo e le quantità erano più che generose, il cameriere molto gentile, si è preso cura di noi durante tutta la cena, ma anche la signora e lo chef che è venuto al tavolo a chiederci come fosse andata. Tutto buonissimo dall’antipasto al dolce, e ci è anche stato offerto il limoncino. Da ritornare quando saremo di passaggio.

25/06/2025: Abbiamo trascorso due giorni a Casa Scola davvero molto piacevoli. Un po' di difficoltà per arrivare in quanto Google Maps indicava una strada chiusa per lavori, ma grazie alla gentilezza di un passante che ci ha accompagnato siamo arrivati in struttura. Immersa nella pace e nel verde, si affaccia in una spettacolare vista del golfo e del Vesuvio. Le camere pulite spaziose e confortevoli, all' arrivo abbiamo trovato anche dei biscottini, un complimento gradito! Anche il bagno attrezzato e pulito, un po' debole il phon. Cibo e vino buono e genuino, ed ottima la colazione rigorosamente con prodotti della casa. Personale accogliente e proprietario molto gentile, un elogio particolare alla simpatica cameriera " tuttofare" Alina sempre disponibile ed affabile. Lo consiglio volentieri perché ti senti davvero in famiglia. Grazie a tutti e complimenti 💯 torneremo!

17/06/2025: Posto ideale per stare in serenità, lontano dal traffico, posto incantevole con una veduta stradosferica, cibo senza nulla da eccepire, vino buonissimo,il servizio merita un punteggio in più in quanto il responsabile Salvatore,ci ha spiegato piatto per piatto,ci ha raccontato dell'agriturismo e ci ha fatto veramente ridere,meritano una citazione anche le altre 2 cameriere che erano sempre disponibili.. Tutto merita voto altissimo e ritorneremo al più presto. Grazie!!

25/04/2025: Location antica, personale cordiale e piatti tipici piacentini con portate soddisfacenti e buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Abbiamo trascorso un piacevole 25 aprile affacciati sulla bella piazzetta del borgo di Grazzano Visconti. Ci torneremo.

18/04/2025: Non siamo rimasti soddisfatti del rapporto prezzo / qualità del locale. In sintesi, qualità sufficiente, quantità scarse, prezzo in proporzione elevato. Si prova mascherare il tutto dando al locale un falso aspetto medievaleggiante, magari ad altri basta.

After the terrible experience at the "La Fragolina" restaurant in Mantua, here's proof that there's good food out there: simply cooked food, served hot, and a limited but very honest menu. 19/11/2025: Hospital food, except for the tasty tagliatelle with meat sauce. The chicken was dry and flavorless. I'd asked for spinach instead of the baked vegetables (which were actually boiled), but instead she handed me whatever she wanted, saying they'd run out of spinach. I felt like she was being mocked, and she didn't even apologize; she just dumped it on the table and walked away. A character (a nice one, if you like). Anyway, tastes are personal, but my friends at the table were satisfied.
