11/05/2026: We would like to sincerely thank you for your professionalism, availability, and impeccable organization during our daughter's First Communion lunch. A location straight out of a Thousand and One Nights: having relatives from the Lomellina area, the view of the Piacenza hills captivated everyone and was greatly appreciated. We were also completely satisfied with the quality of the food: we chose both traditional dishes and modern twists, all truly excellent. The service was fast and attentive, with perfect timing that allowed us to experience and enjoy the day peacefully, as a First Communion deserves. It will be a wonderful memory for our entire family. Thank you so much!

08/04/2026: The food was delicious again. I haven't been here in a long time. The staff was super friendly, as is typical here. I'd say the ambiance is typically Italian – rustic, but everything was spotlessly clean. My only complaint is that they heated a lot of things in the microwave. I had the chance to look into the kitchen while I was there. Everything was fresh, but the pasta and other items came out of the microwave piping hot. It's a real shame because the restaurant itself is fantastic.

09/06/2026: A true village trattoria where I found kindness and good food. The cured meats were fantastic, especially the pancetta, which melted in your mouth. Everything was accompanied by soft, warm, homemade schiacciatina. The pisarei e fasò were delicious, as was the local wine, which I drank in small bowls. The sbrisolona with zabaglione was also worth a try.

09/06/2026: We were looking for a place open on a Monday night and decided to try this one. Nothing special, nothing special. €2.50 cover charge for paper napkins and bread that didn't seem fresh. The main courses were a bit meager: 2 slices of veal shoulder and 5 pieces of potato. The service was pleasant and courteous.

29/05/2026: I stopped for lunch, I had a buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto, a medium beer, coffee and nocino, period. The pizza was very thin, with 4 slices of prosciutto crudo, the service was a yellow paper placemat that barely covered the plate, and I spent €26.50, period. Considering that the area is full of trattorias, it's very good, I think it's a bit excessive.

24/08/2025: Ordinary location, really good food, service could be improved, errors in orders should be corrected either without charging for them or by replacing them!

04/07/2025: While the food is good quality (otherwise I would have given it one star), I think the €120 bill for four people is a bit steep, including: - a platter of cured meats and fried gnocco to share (normal portions) - 4 first courses (butter and sage caramels with mushroom sauce - normal portions) - 3 desserts - 2 coffees - a quart of red wine and 2 bottles of water It's supposed to be a trattoria... Clearly, no prices were displayed or verbally communicated.

25/05/2026: But...when you enter, there's a musty, dirty, stale smell. A lady shows up at the table wearing an apron so dirty it was stiff. Then, aside from the furniture, it's old because we've known it all our lives. But dirty, dirty, dirty, there's no cleanliness... there's no care. It's a shame because the pizza wouldn't be bad, but damn, they should clean it. Let an outsider clean it instead. I don't know, but public places where you eat need to be taken care of. Outside, two broken tables and benches, ugly, with wood that's lifted so you can't lean on them. Good God, to think that the location is excellent, plus between Tavo and Rivergaro, it's the only pizzeria in the area. It could be a gold mine. Damn, but why, why... it's really disgusting. When you enter, there's a smell, foot odor, an unbearable odor. We were in the glass room, so we opened the door and window to let the air in and breathe. But no, no, come on, and we know the owner, a great, nice person too. But damn, come on... take care of the premises.

27/04/2026: The place needs updating... very old, clean but neglected... almost like going to your grandparents' house from days gone by... very old tables, chairs, and silverware. The pizza wasn't bad, but it's a shame the menu included several desserts, but in reality there wasn't a single one. The owners are very kind.

21/03/2026: We were a group of 12 and ate well, but unfortunately the bill was higher than usual. For groups, I recommend choosing a set menu to avoid any surprises. Too bad...

24/01/2026: I ended up at this trattoria after reading the reviews. The place is shabby, it looks like it was in the 1970s, and the bathroom outside needs updating. The food is mediocre, with dishes that aren't exceptional. We ate lunch for three, with three appetizers, three first courses, and three coffees for €85!!!! The restaurant prices are high for its location, and there's not a single price on the menu for the courses! I paid and found only one item on the receipt, a fixed price menu!! I think it's really clever... A disgrace in 2026. I strongly advise against it...

03/06/2026: Very good pizza and friendly staff. I also stopped for a coffee, and I must say the staff were very friendly. The wine list is truly extensive, featuring excellent wines from several local wineries. Excellent restaurant, with balanced and beautifully presented dishes. The desserts deserve a special mention: simply exceptional. Prices are reasonable and commensurate with the high quality of the products. Needless to say, I'll be back whenever I can.

23/05/2026: Rating: 9 Chicca is the owner, the cook, the cashier, etc., and if you like her, she's the best host you've ever met. Excellent food, rating: 9: quality and flavor. Exceptional service, rating: 10 Ambience, rating: 8: outside is romantic, serene, pleasant, rating: 9; inside is a bit narrow and crowded, but never noisy or chaotic, rating: 7;

27/04/2026: I took an impromptu motorcycle tour around Piacenza, did some online research, and this one was among the recommended places. I looked at the photos and made a reservation. We tried the appetizers, followed by the tortelli piacentini (16!) with butter and sage, and dessert and coffee for around €50. Everything was delicious! The quality, quantity, and price ratio exceeded my expectations. It's a secluded spot, so you won't stumble upon it by chance. Reservations are recommended. Very quiet, surrounded by greenery.

16/12/2025: No set menu, only a la carte during lunch break on a weekday Tuesday, but that's acceptable. Paying €7 for a plate of overcooked rigatoni all'amatriciana, with no salt in the cooking water, while sitting at a shared table, is absolutely unacceptable. Nor is the lack of a greeting upon arrival, but rather an attitude of annoyance mixed with disruption, which I, of course, responded to. No greeting upon payment, obviously. What can I say? That's fine, adieu et bonne vie à tous!

08/06/2026: Friendly and fast service, ideal for a quick lunch. The dining room is a bit spartan and set with paper menus (perhaps because of the business menus, which were not offered to us). Our only criticism is the kitchen, which could improve the quality of the food: thick, tough pork shoulder, and overcooked roast beef with sinew. Spending €50 for an appetizer, a first course, a second course, water, and a quarter cup of wine seemed a bit excessive for the quality offered. The value for money could be improved.

15/02/2026: Having been there only once, and on an unusual occasion, I'll describe my impressions. The place is decent, livable, without any real style, perhaps vintage. The evening was held in a room that wasn't particularly large but was large enough to accommodate about fifty people, with a small dance band and space in the center for dancing 💃. I had a slightly revisited fritto misto, white wine, dessert, everything was normal. A reflection on the evening: It was very pleasant and enjoyable, with a friendly atmosphere. I've never had the opportunity to dine with a small orchestra and dance.
