01/06/2026: Absolutely fantastic! A traditional Italian restaurant in the Italian countryside, 200 km north of Milan. The owner is welcoming and her dishes are divine.

13/05/2026: Quality comes at a price, and those seeking high-quality food and drink, excellent service, a historic/artistic/monumental medieval setting (where the 1985 film Ladyhawke and the 1968 TV series The Black Arrow were partly filmed), and an exceptional view of the town/valley/plain—all combined—can't go wrong with Taverna del Falconiere. First course, second course, side dish, dessert, nocino liqueur, coffee, plus bread, water, and a half liter of excellent red wine, €54 per person. Includes a tour of the building and a chat with the owner about historical and artistic topics. And no reservations required.

26/08/2025: Lunch for 14 euros. But then you'll need something basic to balance it out. Pasta with ragu; a drowning of poorly cooked farfalle in a puddle of blood with... I think some meat. Grilled meat: one piece was a lump of nerves, the other burned. Sausage is eaten while salt and pepper reign supreme, the frankfurter burnt. Luckily the place had a dog... who ate in my place. Salad with wilted leaves and tomatoes. All served by an agitated woman who doesn't even say hello like the receipt. In short, a disgusting lunch. Congratulations, this way you help the region. Lunch doesn't need to be huge; a little willpower would be enough to do decently. An extra star in the rating in the hope that you'll try to do better rather than thinking this opinion is disingenuous.

06/04/2026: The best pizza in the world, I can honestly say... I've been all over Italy, but I've never eaten a pizza like Gill's. Friendly staff, always available to meet customer needs.

22/02/2026: When the word "trattoria" regains its meaning... the real one, not the "rustic/chic trattorias" they use today. We were there today, welcomed even though it was late; that already says something, speaks of an important gesture, one that, perhaps, we take for granted... finding something to eat. And how we had lunch... culatello so good it seemed to "sing," and then the rest: homemade cannelloni, herb tortelli, all with an aroma that brings back memories. A good house Lambrusco, authentic and clean-tasting. Desserts? Everything homemade, from the semifreddo to the sbrisolona and the chiacchiere. Behind all this is the vast experience and familiarity of people who know how to "do" and are genuine, almost unfashionable for some. A wonderful experience!

06/12/2025: The culatello is beyond excellent, the eel and catfish are fried, dry and crispy, the Sbrisolona is amazing, and the homemade nocino liqueur is just like at your aunt's house. Go there, it's fantastic!

20/01/2026: Excellent restaurant, excellent hospitality, good food, but the room temperature is cold. Turn on the radiators well before opening and keep the thermostat high. This is the only negative note. We will return in the summer.

12/04/2026: This beautifully renovated restaurant is centrally located in the town. It's the beating heart of the Farinesi and a strategic refueling point for passersby, tourists, and travelers. Many appreciate this trattoria's superb aperitifs, delicious pizzas, and delicious traditional dishes. Numerous truck drivers and tow trucks park their vehicles at the scales outside the restaurant to certify their shipments. And under the pergola in front of Bar Bobo, clusters of local aficionados settle in for a game of scopa or a briscola tournament. And let's not forget the football fans, accustomed to chewing on football between courses, who come to watch their favorite team play: given that this restaurant was once home to a large Juventus club, their preference is obviously for "La Signora." Recently, as I was entering this place, comfortably seated on the wooden bench, I saw and greeted the legendary Davide, a football legend and lifelong Napoli fan. He once managed this bar; now, while savoring a Tuscan wine, he enjoys harassing everyone with cards, counting the points with his sly smile.

23/03/2026: Good morning, I stopped at this restaurant, bar, tobacconist in Farini. We ordered a platter with pancetta and salami, 15 slices each, a little cheese, half a loaf of bread, a small tub of giardiniera. Total: 75 euros for this platter alone. Frankly, it seems too much for this type of establishment.

16/05/2026: I’ve just arrived Piacenza a week ago and don’t speak Italian. It’s my first time visiting Panfe. The staff were really nice and super friendly. I asked them to recommend some for take away. Everything they recommended is so good. One of my favourite place now.

13/05/2026: The products were very good, but the sales assistant with the dark glasses was rather unpleasant and seemed quite annoyed by my questions about some products.

25/06/2025: Abbiamo trascorso due giorni a Casa Scola davvero molto piacevoli. Un po' di difficoltà per arrivare in quanto Google Maps indicava una strada chiusa per lavori, ma grazie alla gentilezza di un passante che ci ha accompagnato siamo arrivati in struttura. Immersa nella pace e nel verde, si affaccia in una spettacolare vista del golfo e del Vesuvio. Le camere pulite spaziose e confortevoli, all' arrivo abbiamo trovato anche dei biscottini, un complimento gradito! Anche il bagno attrezzato e pulito, un po' debole il phon. Cibo e vino buono e genuino, ed ottima la colazione rigorosamente con prodotti della casa. Personale accogliente e proprietario molto gentile, un elogio particolare alla simpatica cameriera " tuttofare" Alina sempre disponibile ed affabile. Lo consiglio volentieri perché ti senti davvero in famiglia. Grazie a tutti e complimenti 💯 torneremo!

17/06/2025: Posto ideale per stare in serenità, lontano dal traffico, posto incantevole con una veduta stradosferica, cibo senza nulla da eccepire, vino buonissimo,il servizio merita un punteggio in più in quanto il responsabile Salvatore,ci ha spiegato piatto per piatto,ci ha raccontato dell'agriturismo e ci ha fatto veramente ridere,meritano una citazione anche le altre 2 cameriere che erano sempre disponibili.. Tutto merita voto altissimo e ritorneremo al più presto. Grazie!!

12/04/2026: Location in need of renovation, very dated both inside and out, even the smell of staleness at the entrance. Lunch was interminable, with incredibly long waits—only 15 minutes to take our order! Even though there were very few people. For 2 first courses and 1 second course, we sat down at 12:40, but we got up at 3:00! There's only one person in the kitchen, so I warn you, there's a wait! The dishes are good, yes, but very expensive, and you choose without a price list or menu! This is a must for a public restaurant, and the price will be added to your bill! Only a €3 cover charge per person for an old and dated place—too much! Of course, with lots of photos of Verdi! I won't be returning.
