07/07/2024: While out on a motorbike for lunch time we booked Da Ivan and it was a great and lovely surprise. Welcoming and very well-kept place with furnishings perfectly in line with the "home". I say home because, as we were told, it was a 1900s house. Beautiful environment and a very friendly welcome. We ate a house appetizer with delicious cold cuts and other equally good appetizers. Then some sautéed snails and a pumpkin soup that drove my wife crazy. We will definitely be back and thanks for the welcome. Gino

26/05/2024: A country inn in an early 20th century villa with an excellent restaurant. Therefore the delight of every traveller. A very pleasant veranda where you can eat overlooking a well-kept garden. Tasty cuisine and high-quality local products; super-stocked cellar, with a special focus on great French wines. All proposed and seasoned with the kindness of Barbara and Ivan!!

06/08/2024: When in the area for work, a fixed stop. You exit the motorway in Parma and you are immediately welcomed and served for a quick lunch full of flavors and friendliness. Well done to everyone, the food is always up to par, the guys and staff are always friendly and polite Excellent typical dishes

16/06/2024: Luogo carino e di passaggio, centro di Parma. Ci hanno accomodato all'esterno e si stava molto bene. Le cameriere non molto alla mano, piuttosto stizzite e stizzose. In ogni caso le tigelle buone, prezzo piuttosto onesto. Al conto finale, che abbiamo fatto dividere alla romana, chi ha fatto il conto ha aggiunto cose che non c'entravano niente con il ns conto. Purtroppo chi ha pagato non ha avuto l'accortezza di controllare per tempo.

29/10/2023: We had dinner with a truffle tasting menu and some typical dishes: a wonderful experience. Delicious food, wonderful staff. They let us bring our dog and brought her some water. Absolutely recommended to taste excellent typical cuisine (but with a few flashes of creativity) at reasonable prices!!!

07/07/2024: Very slow service, 3 euro cover charge seems excessive to me for a pizzeria with tablecloths and paper napkins and not even a doorstep on the table, like 8 euros for a baby pizza with frankfurters... plus after a long wait I got up and went to taking coffee at the counter because it is not considered

13/08/2024: The waitress was very nice and tried hard to serve us. The food was okay but nothing special. The fart's boss was incredibly cheeky. He just does his bidding and everything else is wrong. He treated us very badly. Avoid this store.

20/04/2024: Tutto eccellente, con proposte dal territorio, tante erbe spontanee, funghi di stagione ed una carta dei vini curiosa e non convenzionale. Alla fine, 35 euro a testa pur avendo assaggiato la zuppetta di lumache, il tonno di coniglio, il coniglio in bianco alla moda locale, l'agnellone con le erbette e bevuto una bottiglia di Ruché in quattro. Dalle titolari e dal personale in sala tanto amore per le cose fatte bene, e non è poco come valore aggiunto...

07/08/2024: Fermato per caso in un viaggio in bicicletta, ho dormito (benissimo) in una bella camera. E ho potuto approfittare di una cena eccellente, dall’antipasto al dessert. Ci torneró appositamente! Fantastici

03/08/2024: We celebrated our wedding at the Corte di Giarola and we can say that it was destiny that brought us here... we chose it instantly and we didn't regret it! With Michele, the owner, we understood each other from the beginning and he was fundamental in making all our wishes come true! Everything was impeccable, from the splendid location, to the courtesy and professionalism of the waiters who spared no smiles, to the simply exquisite menu... We received so many compliments from our guests! Michele and all the staff made our day perfect. Detail to point out: the incredible attention shown towards our guests with special dietary needs!

29/06/2024: I had dinner at this restaurant a few months ago and, despite the pleasant environment, my experience was not entirely positive. The aspect that disappointed me the most was the lack of clarity on the menu regarding vegan options. Not finding dishes explicitly indicated as such, I asked the waitress if there were alternatives suitable for a vegan diet. His response was to show me two dishes that, in my opinion, were not suitable (baked potatoes and vegetables). To avoid misunderstandings in the future, I would like to underline that a vegan diet is not limited to excluding meat and fish, but also includes the elimination of all animal derivatives, such as milk, butter, eggs, honey and gelatin. I believe that the waitress, although kind, misunderstood my needs, interpreting them as specific food intolerances (for example, gluten or lactose). I suggest the restaurant improve communication regarding vegan options, perhaps by including a specific section in the menu or by training staff to recognize and correctly satisfy the requests of vegan customers. I believe that greater clarity and knowledge regarding vegan nutrition are fundamental to offering a truly inclusive and satisfying service to all customers.

05/07/2024: When I want to give myself a gift for the palate, then a nice Frittanza is what I need! I work nearby and all the sandwiches are amazing, freshly made, fresh and excellent quality products! If you pass by here, have a Frittanza!! I adore!!
