12/07/2025: I was looking for a pizzeria for lunch. I went in expecting a traditional pizza. When I discovered they only did deep-dish pizza, I considered leaving immediately (I hate deep-dish pizza), but in the end I stayed. And I was very happy with it. The pizza was spectacular; I never imagined deep-dish pizza could be this good. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

10/08/2025: The food is adequate, but the service is rude, impolite, and impatient, and the prices are high (13 euros for a tiny portion of fried cake!) for the quality and service. In the past, the overall quality of the restaurant was much better and the prices were reasonable. What's happening?

06/08/2025: One of those rare times when the brain surrenders to the palate and applauds. "I Due Platani" is not a trattoria: it's an act of gastronomic resistance. In a world chasing forced fusions, existentialist plating, and binary-coded menus, here you can truly eat again—with the soul even before the mouth. The appetizers are thoughtful, but without that aesthetic compulsion of a food blogger having an identity crisis. Sumptuous first courses, with perfectly stretched pasta and sauces that don't just season but tell a story. I tasted tortelli that made me seriously consider writing them a love letter. The second courses are solid, focused, free of the pretentiousness that often ruins the substance. But it was on the ice cream cart that I realized I'd ended up in a place where hospitality is a philosophy: rich, varied, sincere. The service is warm but never intrusive. They treat you like a regular, even if it's your first time, and this, as we all know, is relational psychology applied to dining. The wine list is crafted with thought (and heart). They don't drown you in a thousand labels just to impress: a targeted, local, and vibrant selection. One last note: the bill. Not cheap, but fair. And in an era when you spend 50 euros for a tartare named after a Japanese poet, here you leave satisfied, grateful, and without that annoying feeling of having been taken for a Sunday tourist. I'll be back. I'll be back. And then I'll be back again. One of the best gastronomic experiences.

20/08/2025: We had lunch today for four of us...the mixed platter of cured meats and parmesan was spectacular! Accompanied by an excellent torta fritta! For first courses, we had tortelli with herbs, pumpkin, and fried bacon cubes! Everything was excellent! The owner was truly kind and friendly!

20/08/2025: Excellent, locally sourced food. Try the homemade giardiniera, it's wonderful! The host is kind and friendly.

09/07/2025: We only had a glass of wine. The lady who runs it is very knowledgeable about wine. Very friendly and kind. If I were to pass by again, I would stop to try her cuisine. She gave us some slices of truly delicious prosciutto. 😋

05/07/2025: Excellent tortelli, reminiscent of grandma's. Even the culaccia with fried cake is up to par. Amazing tiramisu and extremely kind staff.

12/07/2025: One of the best pizzas in Parma and the province. Excellent dough and rich toppings. Delicious desserts. After years, I've always returned for excellent pizzas. Unique dough and shape.

18/06/2025: The orange juice was the freshest, even livened up stronger than the coffee. Beautiful space, decorated with special accents. I recommend visiting.

I'd known about Fidenza Village for a long time, having passed it many times, and then, when this opportunity arose, I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth. Well... yes, so many shops... maybe I expected it to be bigger (?)... elegant, an excellent selection... but in the end, I wasn't satisfied. By far, I prefer our Italian outlets (Franciacorta, Mantua, etc.)

02/09/2025: Slow, slow, slow! Every time I promise myself I'll never go there again, I think now is the time to truly stop. You may have excellent gelato (though not the best in town), but the wait times are truly mind-numbing. These waits aren't due to the number of customers, but simply to the lack of staff and the slow work of the few who are there...never again unless you improve this, and significantly!

05/06/2025: Unpretentious place, very simple. In summer you can eat outside under a tent. Good first and second courses of fish, very good mixed fried fish, good desserts. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money.

10/08/2025: The restaurant is run by a young couple: chef Filippo in the kitchen and Valentina in the dining room. Both are passionate about their work and it shows. Their rustic atmosphere makes you feel at home. Their cuisine is traditional but with unexpected twists (i.e., off-menu dishes) that are truly surprising. Excellent food and service. The price is more than fair. Convenient parking is available behind the restaurant. Recommended.

14/07/2025: Unfortunately, the plate wasn't warmed up, meaning my ordered sautéed steak quickly went cold.
