27/05/2026: We returned to this place on Sunday 24 May, but we had already been there in October 2024, where we had a very good time... the tortelloni with gorgonzola and walnuts were fantastic, tagliatelle with special mushrooms and tigelle and fried gnocco with cold cuts and double-round cheeses, the lard was really good, what can I say, we will definitely return to visit Mauro and his staff 👍👍

19/02/2026: A small place near the historic center. Only ten flavors, but the gelato is delicious and truly artisanal. The friendly owner happily taught my six-year-old daughter how to eat a cone without getting dirty. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived, the owners and their family treated us with a level of kindness and generosity that is truly rare. We came to Maranello for a Ferrari inspired half marathon and expected a simple place to stay—but what we received was so much more. They went far above and beyond in every possible way. They helped arrange transportation for us multiple times without ever asking for anything in return, saving us from renting a car and making our entire trip smoother and more enjoyable. At one point, they even offered us the opportunity to stay closer to the Ferrari factory so we could fully experience everything happening in town. That level of thoughtfulness is something we will never forget. The restaurant itself is outstanding. The wild boar stew with tigelle and grilled vegetables was absolutely incredible—authentic, rich, and perfectly prepared. Every meal felt like a true taste of the region. The history of this place makes it even more special. Knowing that it was once a working mill from centuries ago adds a unique depth to the experience—you truly feel connected to the heritage of the region while enjoying incredible food and hospitality But what makes this place truly special is the people. 16/05/2026: Pizza's are excellent, staff is super nice. Place is <5 min drive from Ferrari Museum in Maranello, so if you are coming to museum, this is next logical destination 😎

05/05/2026: First of all, we were there for Easter Monday with a large group. For this reason, they served the main course after everyone else... and the gnocchi weren't cooked through. It's worth trying on a normal day.

08/05/2026: The fried gnocco and tigelle are top-notch. The cured meats and lard are excellent. The old Modena green tortelli are also good, as are the passatelli in broth. Definitely worth returning for.

01/05/2026: I give the waiter one star: when we asked for a table for two, he dismissed us with a curt "not even thinking about it." Next time, maybe stop for a moment, look around the room, and use your brain: customers aren't numbers, and tables don't disappear into thin air while people are finishing their dinner.

12/05/2026: A truly positive experience at Trattoria da Guido. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, and the staff are kind and helpful. The food is excellent, with authentic flavors and generous portions. The handmade tigelle are truly exceptional, soft and tasty, among the best I've ever eaten. The prices are also more than fair for the quality offered. You eat well, you feel good, and you leave satisfied. Definitely a place I'll return to and one I'd happily recommend.

02/05/2026: I had dinner with my wife this evening in this very nice and elegant restaurant. The food is excellent, the price is excellent, but the two of us ordered three first courses to try the different dishes. All three arrived at the same time after 5 minutes, and we had to eat everything quickly otherwise the dishes would be eaten. You can't bring everything to the table in 5 minutes. In fact, the third first course had gotten cold despite our good will to eat them as quickly as possible. It's not us customers who should tell you to bring the courses a little at a time, but in the good work of a restaurateur. I repeat, the food is good, but I won't be back to eat with a funnel. Plus, the restaurant was half empty given the time, which is a shame, it could have been a better experience....

16/05/2026: We went on a Saturday evening with a group of friends and children. We chose the pizza tour, but it took us over an hour to start eating the pizzas, and the bacon was everywhere, even on a vegetarian one. The taste, I'm sorry to say, was non-existent. It was a terrible mess with children coming from various places scattered around the one we were at, and we spent a lot for having eaten just a few slices of pizza each. €77 for three of us seemed really excessive to me.
