We stayed for a weekend. Excellent food, great rooms, peace and quiet, and very close to the train for getting around if you don't want to use the car.
Paola and Marco were delightful, welcoming, and super helpful!
Recommended!!
02/05/2026: I stayed at this inn for a business trip. The dining room is truly beautiful. The room was very cozy and clean, and the location was very quiet. I'd say the dinner was excellent. The homemade desserts are definitely worth trying, they're delicious and come in generous portions. The staff was truly kind and helpful. The only thing missing was a breakfast option, but the room does have a kettle, so you just have to plan ahead. A well-deserved 5 stars. I highly recommend this inn.

22/12/2025: A steak rice bowl with side dishes, a beer, lots of desserts, a romantic afternoon tea, and some nice ice cream.
10/11/2025: The quality of both food and wine was truly excellent.
We enjoyed every course, from the appetizers to the first courses, to the meat, which was clearly their specialty, cooked to perfection.
A restaurant I highly recommend to anyone who wants to eat well.

13/03/2026: I can only confirm the average reviews! Excellent ingredients, served with expert technique. Speaking with the owner, he told me he often travels looking for artisanal products to add to the menu and that he would soon be coming to Tuscany for just that purpose! Congratulations!
08/03/2026: We went to dinner at this restaurant where, aided by our curiosity about the dishes, we found the staff to be extremely knowledgeable and attentive to our needs, eager to share their passion in every dish on the menu.
Excellent products prepared in beautifully balanced dishes.
If we return to Carpi, it will be a must-visit.

Two of us dined here and tried the tasting menu: the quality and portions were impeccable.
I'll definitely be back to try all the zampanelle flavors.

16/05/2026: We did the tasting and had two excellent first courses and two second courses. The tagliatelle with ragù was delicious; the pasta was perfect. The second courses were also delicious; the ribs melted in your mouth! We recommend them to anyone who wants to enjoy truly well-crafted traditional Emilian dishes.
11/05/2026: If you want to eat typical local Emilian cuisine, this is one of the places to go! The food is high-quality and excellent, as is the service and ambiance. Portions are a bit small. Personal tastes apply.

18/05/2026: We stayed here overnight with our camper. We arrived around 4 pm and were welcomed openly and very kindly; we also enjoyed a drink on the terrace. We also ate in the restaurant (very tasty), which meant we were allowed to use the parking lot for free! There are 3 power outlets available (also free!). There is also CCTV surveillance of the grounds.
Because of the very hospitable people, we gave a little extra, which meant we even got something in return!
I wish the entire team the best and keep up the good work!
I recommend this place to anyone passing through Italy.
PS You can hear the motorway in the background, but it is not bothersome.

11/04/2026: Easter experience. Booked well in advance as the place isn't particularly large, but it was a truly positive experience. Four adults and an 11-month-old baby provided a high chair. Excellent food and friendly service.
Highly recommended.

Simple but delicious food, flavorful and well-prepared ingredients, a pleasant atmosphere with a refined playlist, and excellent service.

12/05/2026: Exceptional cured meats with equally delicious crescentine. The trofie with red shrimp and zucchini (menu of the day) had a sauce reduction that forced me to mop up the sauce. I didn't get to try the desserts, but I will when I return... definitely.

10/12/2025: Last Friday, my wife, daughter, and I stopped for dinner at this wonderful bistro.
The place is very welcoming, with a family atmosphere and warm lighting. We tried some delicious dishes (borlenghi, gnocco fritto, and tigelle) accompanied by a delicious Lambrusco (sold for a very reasonable price, less than €10).
I forgot about the mascarpone, which was amazing.
I once again compliment both the dining room and the kitchen; we will definitely be back.

03/05/2026: A very inviting and charming restaurant, with perfect service, amazing food, and friendly waiters. The aesthetics include a million Easter eggs that will make you laugh. Coffee and liqueurs are complimentary, and the price is perfect. Recommended.

16/03/2026: After dining here at least 7 or 8 times with friends, I can say that, obviously, my personal taste isn't entirely satisfying. Unfortunately, I don't like pizzas with a "tirone" crust; I've never managed to finish a pizza even once. :( There are pizzerias where I'd even order two pizzas. This one is good, of course, but not the way I like it. Try it and believe it; I think everyone has different palates and tastes. ;)
16/03/2026: I came back last Saturday for two takeout pizzas, one of which was gluten-free. Well, what can I say? The latter was out of this world. It's not easy to make a good pizza with that kind of dough. This time, you outdid yourself. Flavorful, soft, fluffy, elastic dough, and abundant, fresh toppings. Well done! 👏🏻
