04/07/2026: I didn't even stop when I saw the rude staff. I turned around and left without saying a word. I arrived at the Tortellini Osteria for dinner, politely queuing at the entrance without saying a word, politely waiting for the wait staff. While I waited, a couple who had arrived later queued up behind me. The waitress arrived, disgusted me, hovered next to me as if I didn't exist, ignoring me, and went straight to the couple to ask for a table. As if I were transparent. It's unacceptable if they're already welcoming like this. I don't want to hear the subsequent rudeness. I wanted to try the place, but it's on my blacklist. I can't tolerate rudeness, and they can't say they didn't see me. I was in front of the other couple, and the waitress deliberately ignored me as she walked past me.

18/05/2026: We stayed here overnight with our camper. We arrived around 4 pm and were welcomed openly and very kindly; we also enjoyed a drink on the terrace. We also ate in the restaurant (very tasty), which meant we were allowed to use the parking lot for free! There are 3 power outlets available (also free!). There is also CCTV surveillance of the grounds. Because of the very hospitable people, we gave a little extra, which meant we even got something in return! I wish the entire team the best and keep up the good work! I recommend this place to anyone passing through Italy. PS You can hear the motorway in the background, but it is not bothersome.

05/07/2026: Trattoria da Guido is a rustic restaurant located just a few meters from the Nirano Salse Park. It has a large outdoor space that can accommodate about 120 people or more, while the indoor space can accommodate 75. Various musical events, such as concerts and DJ sets, are organized in the outdoor space in collaboration with the Revolver and Obscene staff. All in compliance with current Covid regulations. Its location on the crest of a hill allows for a beautiful view of an olive grove and in the late afternoon, it enjoys the shade of the hill, maintaining a pleasant temperature thanks to a light breeze, making the outdoor experience very pleasant. An excellent place to stop for an aperitif during a walk through the Nirano Salse Park, the place is equipped to serve various cocktails. The staff is very young, but competent in their work and always polite and kind, listening to diners' requests. The menu is clear and comprehensive, including all prices, with tasting options to choose from. The Emilian flair shines through, from the stuffed pasta (strictly handmade) with various toppings (such as the classic ricotta and spinach tortelloni with butter and sage) to the traditional crescentine and/or gnocco fritto with mixed cured meats and cheeses. I opted for the "Menù alla Guido" with a double serving of tortelloni with butter and sage and a pancetta flavor. I was pleasantly surprised by the pancetta ones, as the ragù's flavoring was very intense and pleasant. Furthermore, the tortelloni were perfectly thick. Not too thick to make them a bit tough, and not too thin to break during cooking. Moving on to the main courses: The crescentine are very light and have a delicate texture, while the gnocco fritto is thin and not greasy. This makes them very digestible. The cured meats and cheeses for the fillings are plentiful and very flavorful, and the jams are delicate and intense. The grilled meat is plentiful and well-cooked. The chicken skewers are delicious, and I recommend them with a few drops of lemon juice, which is paired with the grilled meat. The sausage is slightly spicy and has a bold flavor, while the coppa isn't overly fatty and is tender on the palate. The grilled vegetables are a great accompaniment to the meat, even plain or with just a pinch of salt, and they're still a welcome addition to the classic French fries. If all this seems overwhelming, don't worry; you can have a parcel made for you and take away what you can't eat. And now for dessert...here you can order the desserts that are available at the time, since they're all homemade. The place is equipped to accommodate children and pets, so you can bring your little ones or your best friends without having to leave them at home, and spend a pleasant evening together. That said, I highly recommend stopping by, even just for an aperitif while strolling through the salty countryside of Nirano. And if you'll probably also stop for dinner, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend making a reservation, given the high demand, especially in spring and summer.

30/03/2026: The intimate setting creates an incredible atmosphere. We chose the charcuterie and cheese platters and the lamb tartare (very delicate), accompanied by a red wine chosen by the owner. Dessert was a very delicate strawberry mascarpone. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the dishes. P.S.: Excellent wine selection, and advance reservations are essential.

03/05/2026: Modena's historic market. If you Google "things to see in Modena," after the Ferrari Museum, this market will pop up. A market where you can find any food (and only food), along with small restaurants stacked one above the other, where you can eat face-to-face with other diners. So if you're looking for privacy, look elsewhere. Almost all of them offer Emilian cuisine, so a wide variety of pastas and classic main courses. I recommend it as a stop; you won't find the chaos of Ballarò, but you'll find a very authentic atmosphere. The only downside is the wait; if you can get there before lunchtime, you'll be able to eat in a decent amount of time; otherwise, you'll need a lot of patience and a lot of thought. I don't think you can book. The prices are typical for an "average" restaurant. Recommended.

03/01/2026: We went for lunch on a Saturday around 2 pm, so it was crowded but starting to empty. We sat down, and unfortunately, despite the tables next to us being empty, we had to wait half an hour for two platters of cold cuts. The wait, in my opinion, was a bit excessive, both because of the raw dish and the fewer customers. The quality was good, yes, but I would still recommend the staff pay more attention.

01/07/2026: Very good, well-topped pizza. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, the dining room is very warm and basic. With a few improvements, it could become a truly top-notch restaurant. I still recommend it.

09/05/2026: It's an excellent restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. The selection is excellent, including traditional local and international dishes. The dishes are beautifully presented and of excellent quality. The wine list is excellent, with reasonable markups.

I'll start by saying that I love Emilian cuisine, but I found this place somewhat disappointing compared to my expectations (again, it's truly beautiful and well-crafted).
