We stopped here on a road trip, and it was a wonderful surprise.
Recommended! Get off the highway, eat there, and then leave. It's worth it.

A group with a pre-arranged menu. It took an hour from when we sat down (1 PM) to when we were served. They might have gotten a little crowded because it was so busy. The gramigna with ragù was fabulous, the tigelle were fabulous. The gnocchi weren't my cup of tea, but they were good. The cold cuts and everything else that accompanied the tigelle were excellent. The atmosphere was a bit noisy.

Excellent experience.
We stopped after visiting the Horacio Pagani Museum. We hadn't booked, yet they found us a spot with no problem. The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and the value for money was truly exceptional.
Highly recommended. Next time I'm in Modena, I'll definitely be back.

The quality has remained the same as the historic management, but the quantity hasn't.
The tortelloni, however, remain the best in the province.

The atmosphere is typical of a Modena trattoria, with friendly service and excellent cuisine featuring traditional local dishes. We opted for two first courses: tortelloni with butter and sage and lasagna, followed by an excellent pork cheek stew with tigelle and baked potatoes. The meatball appetizer was also noteworthy; everything was truly delicious. Congratulations! Excellent value for money.

If you love authentic Emilian cuisine, Paganine restaurant is simply an absolute MUST 😍🍝
The tortelloni and tortellini are out of this world 🤤 rich fillings, pasta made like they used to be, and flavors that make you feel like you're at grandma's house ❤️
But the real surprise? The tagliatelle with mushrooms 🍄✨ are incredible: fragrant, super creamy, and with mushrooms that truly taste of the woods… a total delight!
Authentic atmosphere, generous portions, and top-notch quality 👌
If you pass by and don't try them, you've done it all wrong 😄
