12/05/2025: The cuisine seems to travel on two tracks. As soon as I arrived I was pleasantly struck by the embers placed in the room, the dated environment transmits tradition* but after ordering the soups things change the first courses ahead of cooking ragù just sufficient. The grilled meat arrives dry the thing that really disappointed me is that apart from a good express mini cut the other cuts dried in the oven coming out of the kitchen leave me wondering. At the checkout I am amazed 45 euros per person only 1 first and second course without starter without sweet or coffee. absurd, the menu prices that are published are dated and not updated with an increase of 70/100 not aligned with the quality of the price. It's a shame

12/05/2025: Appena ci accomodiamo scopriamo che a cena servono SOLO pizza! Non è possibile avere un piatto di pasta. Non mi è piaciuto scoprirlo già accomodata, avevo prenotato era sera, dove vado a cercare un'altra sistemazione? Siamo rimasti ma non abbiamo gradito questa non scelta. La pizza era molto buona ma altra cosa non positiva il prezzo. Per noi decisamente troppo cari.

20/04/2025: Una pizza veramente sublime, lievitata benissimo, con ingredienti di prima scelta, cotta e servita con amore, anche io sono del settore, vi dico che è un esperienza da provare.

26/05/2025: Prima volta in questo ristorante prenotato da amici per una cena sabato sera, ambiente curato a partire dalla veranda dove si consuma l’aperitivo per entrare nelle due sale passando dal bancone del bar; il personale è stato altrettanto gentile e pronto nel rispondere alle richieste, dalla priorità per i piatti dei bambini ai consigli sulle pietanze. Partendo dal menu, l’ho trovato piuttosto banale e limitante ma può essere un fatto personale dato che in famiglia si cucinano le stesse cose, comunque l’antipasto non lascia molto spazio alla fantasia con i classici crostini misti o tagliere affettati e formaggi , fa eccezione il radicchio con uova e pancetta; i primi di pasta fresca sono della tradizione della zona e l’unico condimento “alternativo” al ragù etc. è la crema di aceto balsamico che sui miei “balanzoni” non mi è piaciuta; una nota a parte per i tortellini in brodo che sono sicuramente superiori a quelli industriali ma sapevano molto di mortadella ed il brodo era poco saporito ma forse è una mia impressione abituato al brodo di gallina della mamma. I secondi di carne prevedono essenzialmente carne rossa ed un piatto con il maiale ma nessun piatto con pollo se non ricordo male, o nessun piatto vegetariano; non discuto sulla qualità ed origine delle materie prime ma l’esecuzione dei piatti mi è sembrata casalinga ma poco appetibile per i miei gusti, in generale riguardo tutti i piatti dei commensali che ho assaggiato ma in particolare sul mio vitello tonnato servito a fette molto sottili su un piatto e ricoperto di salsa tonnata cosa che non mi ha fatto capire assolutamente il sapore del vitello. Dei contorni ho assaggiato le cipolle al forno e le patate al forno, entrambe troppo “stressate” nel senso che si perdeva il sapore originale degli ingredienti da quanto erano pasticciate. Tempi di attesa troppo lunghi, un’oretta solo per avere i crostini misti ed un’altra mezz’ora da questi al primo anche se per i bambini sono stati molto più veloci nel portare un tortellino ed una cotoletta. Sinceramente avevo altre aspettative dato che la gente di zona ne parla bene ed il locale era effettivamente pieno, i gusti son gusti ma la sala piena non è una scusante per la cattiva gestione dei tempi Infine, i prezzi non sono proprio popolari ma ci sta per l’abbondanza delle porzioni

13/05/2025: I kindly asked, after consuming, to use the bathroom and was denied due to too much confusion even after saying it was urgent and in the eighth month of pregnancy. Confusion is never too much when you have to pocket the takings, to offer a service instead becomes the perfect condition to deny it!! Staff to say the least rude.

02/04/2025: Ottima cucina tradizionale con alcune sfiziosità aggiuntive (sfogliare il menù, disponibile sul sito, è un piacere); resta solo l'imbarazzo di cosa scegliere. C'ero stato un anno fa e il ritorno è stata una conferma della qualità e della cortesia che avevo trovato allora. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è piuttosto interessante. Certamente consigliato sia per una sosta breve sia per un pranzo o cena completo. É opportuno prenotare altrimenti si rischia di non trovare posto.

04/06/2025: We visited upon our arrival to a local hotel so had not reserved. The restaurant were able to seat us and upon seating you could tell that this was a popular spot with the locals (always a good sign) We ordered the salad caprese , followed by tortiollne with mushroom and truffle oil, tagliatelle with ragu and then a pizza snoopy to share. All of the food was delicious and a good portion size and very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and efficient and spoke english which i didnt expect but am always grateful for as my Italian is rusty. A lovely traditional eatery and i would definitely recommend.

21/02/2025: Esperienza unica. L ' evidenza maggiore di tale esperienza è dettata dal fatto che l chef e lo staff non siano premiati dalla stella Michelin. Con un certo sconcerto dopo esserci complimentati lasciamo il locale sperando di farvi presto ritorno

09/12/2024: Ci torno dopo un mese dall’ultima volta perché non c’è ristorante migliore a Bologna. Sempre coccolato da un servizio perfetto ispirato da Nicola, sempre inebriato da un menu che varia trimestralmente, sempre rilassato da un ambiente silenzioso e riservato, sempre soddisfatto da un prezzo equo per un tale trattamento. Tornerò tornerò e tornerò. Preferisco mangiare una volta in meno in un buon ristorante, ma ordinario, che rinunciare a questa chicca unica di posto. E ne ho frequentati di ristoranti per lavoro e passione culinaria!
