The cotoletta alla bolognese was something I'd never seen or tasted before. Excellent, rich, and well-made. The attached photo isn't clear enough to convey its immense size.
The homemade dessert was also superb.
The service staff were excellent.

Awful price: 22.10 for a first course, second course, side dish, coffee, and 1 liter of water.
For a very expensive self-service restaurant, the gnocchi are good for wild boar hunting. They're just balls. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 This is how you eat in a restaurant, served for 15 euros.

05/07/2026: I've eaten there several times, most recently paella, which was delicious, with plenty of shellfish and mussels.
The price was fair for the quality and quantity.
28/06/2026: Last night a wonderful discovery... excellent pizzas with excellent ingredients... excellent service with very kind waiters (Maya our husky thanks you for the welcome)... we had a great time... thank you... we'll be back in September for the fish 🐟.. I promise 👌😃

05/06/2026: It is the first bar with true style and elegance seen in San Lazzaro. Today it is no longer the only one but it still remains one of the most popular and loved.
23/04/2026: I've been stopping at Caffè Epoca for many years and have always had a great time. Today, as usual, at 12:50, I went and ordered two Negronis, everything as usual. As usual, they arrive, the same glasses, but with a twist: three fingers of Negroni and ice until it overflows. But as usual, the bill arrives: still €16.00. Are we crazy?
